Mitsu hugged Nina. The rain still fell down on thier head. She didn't say a word seeing as she was speechless herself. Karri watched the Pidgeot shirnk away in the sky.

Nina sobbed a little bit as she hugged her friend. "Thank you Mitsu," she said in an almost inaudible tone. A few moments later, she felt another pair of arms hug her.
"Honey, I want you to know that this isn't over," Jessica said, hugging Nina too. "I'm going to stick by you for as long as it takes until we get your friend back. I know how hard it is to lose a friend-- and I don't just mean temporarily. I would never want that to happen to you. You have my full support.

Giovanni smirked, his face hidden in the shadows of his room. "Sabrina, I have my choices to keep things under wraps. But..." he placed a ringed hand on his forehead, "nevermind. Yes, I know Kilik. However, he isn't here, nor is he part of my 'family'," he lied, "so unless you're here for a Gym battle...I'd like for you to leave."
The Pidgeot landed softly in the middle of Celadon City, breathing heavily. "You'll be fine, you bird," Rena said, getting off of the Pokemon along with Kilik. She called it back into its Pokeball and ran into the Mart. The girl turned her attention to the male Rocket. "I'm worried about you, Kilik. You've been a bit...off..." she whispered. The girl blushed lightly.
The boy looked through the glass door of the large PokeMart, placing his hand on the glass. "She knew me. That girl knew me and I don't know who she is. All I can remember is being a part of Team Rocket for as long as I've been a trainer. But..." he looked up at the ceiling, "who was I before this?"

Kasiya stepped forwards a few feet as Giovanni spoke. His voice was cool and calm, yet filled the room with his presence. She secretly wished he'd step out of the shadows so she could put a face to that powerful voice. "Um, we're not trying to intrude, Sir," Kasiya said, finding her voice along with some courage. "But we're just worried about our friend is all..." she trailed off as she felt his eyes on her, even though she couldn't see him.

Sabrina clicked her tongue. "You don't... seem to be telling me the truth," she said. "It's very unwise to lie to a psychic, Giovanni. And Kasiya is right-- we don't mean to intrude, but we want to know what has happened."

The fitting weather didn't let up, not even for the poor sobbing girl weeping for her beloved friend's transformation. If I just had one moment with that boy I'd pound him into dust for hurting Nina. He recalled his soaking wet Pokemon, clipping it to his strap.
"Don't worry Nina," He knelt down, giving his frien a well deserved hug. "We'll set him straight next time."

The man took a step foreward into the light. "Your psychic powers are strong, Sabrina. However," he smirked, "my will is much stronger. It will take much more than your gimmicks to penetrate my mind..." Giovanni laughed to himself, then looked over to Kasiya. "I told you...I don't know him."

Nina sniffled one more time. "Th... thank you, Mike..." It took her a moment to sputter out the words. These people really do care about me, she thought as she still hugged Mike.
A few moments later, she let go, and wiped her eyes. "Well, look at me," she said. "Here I am, down in the mud, blubbering like a baby, and I can't stop my nose from running." She laughed a little bit as she was making fun of herself.

Kasiya looked at the floor, instead of up where the Rocket leader was. There's got to be some way to make him talk...something we can use in our favour... she looked over at Sabrina, who seemed even more calm than usual, and she wondered how she managed it in the presence of such a man.

"Happens to the best of us." Mike said, remembering how close to tears he was when he lost the battle with Flannery. Again with her boy? Sheesh, you really are nuts for her. His mind acted up on its own. Mike grabbed his head, it suddenly started to hurt immensly.
Shut up! He retorted...to himself. You're just a brain, not a heart! You don't get an opinion on this matter!
Oh, but I am a brain. Thinking is my specialty, and to be quite frank, I don't think you stand half a chance with that pitiful 'battle expertise' you constantly brag about. He goaded, being careful to hit every nerve. Why, look what it got you with her.
But I've taken down Rockets and Gym Leaders with my 'pitiful' strategies! Mike smirked, he'd like to see him come back from that one.

Shut up! Shup up! "SHUT UP!!" He shouted at the sky, a lightning bolt tearing through the sky. He released his head and fell to the ground, panting as if he'd just outrun a Primeape.

The man sent out a laugh that echoed through out the Gym. "Suffice to say what you can do..." Giovanni growled, snapping his fingers, "and what you will do." The Gym Lights flashed on, "I guess, if it will make you leave..." he snapped his fingers again, a staircase appearing that lead up to his window, "I'll 'talk'. Come up to my office," he growled, motioning up the stairs.

The outburst startled Mitsu as her eyes widened a bit. "Mike? Are you all right?" she asked look at him with concern in her eyes. She knelt down, the mud dirtying her bare knees. She wanted to reach out and give him a comforting hug, but remembering what had happened the past few hours she didn't.

Nina's concern grew along with Mitsu's, and she slowly outstretched her arm toward Mike's shoulder, to tell him everything was going to be okay. But, partway, she stopped and withdrew her arm back toward her body. This was not because she didn't want to console her friend, but because she was afraid of saying the wrong thing to him.

Sabrina raised an eyebrow, and was almost a little surprised that her talking had worked. "Thank you, sir," she said. She walked toward the staircase, Michael following. "Come along, Kasiya," she said.

Kasiya stared at the stairs for a moment, both intrigued and a bit frightened. It can't be this easy, she thought, giving the shadowy figure of Giovanni a quizzical look before she followed behind Sabrina and her father. She twisted a lock of her golden hair in her fingers nervously, something she hadn't done in several weeks, as she walked.
