Etna looked to the girl for a moment then to the weapons as she made a point to mention them. The girl wasn't comfortable around them, not in the least. She was more comfortable around that oaf Gig. A bitter snicker came from the cat throat as she turned her head away, "He gave you those did he? And I assume youf eel more comfortable around a war loving baffon such as him? Goodness, you kids today. And look at the size of those things... must he compensate for his size in everything he does?"
Etna only sighed bitterly as she looked off, "Listen well girl, under my care, you'll learn to be a ninja without peer except maybe these two idiots..." Etna looked from Roy to Shuiro and back to the girl Yumi, "Of course, if you're more comfortable back with the inferiority ridden Giglemesh, go right ahead and go back to him. I've no need of your kind here. I barly tollerate these two."
Etna turned her red eyes falling and piercing right into Yumi's eyes, "But listen well chlid... if you do decide to stay, you put your life in my hands and I will accept no excuses, understand me?"

((chakra control is just two....))
She was under shock of being with a new group of people but she would adapt in time. It was just going to take a little bit until she learned to understand the kinds of people that she was going to be part of a crew with. "I do want to train under Giglamesh but I would rather be devoted to a squad to advance as a Genin." She would continue her stance training and that kind of stuff on her own time. But she knew that she needed to learn the basics before she could really do that. Strength and discipline would help her grow further in the way of the ninja. "Of course Sensei." She said calmly but firmly. She would completely put her life in his hands. He was a teacher and she needed to respect him for his rank. Yumi was trying to show her respect towards him and hopefully Etna would receive that perception from her.

[[Etna is a female black cat dear. XD
edited after your post. sorry.]]
Etan glanced over the girl for a long moment. The girl's build, even at her young age, showed sever signs of physical trianing... she was most definatly one of Gig's kids. In that it was meant that he trained only in physical combat which was fine but a ninja that only knew one type of attack pattern was doomed to be destroyed. Granted, it was one thing to focus on one thing but a completly different thing to ONLY do that thing. Etna pondered on if Gig understood this but having never seen him fight for more than a few moments, she would reserve judgement.
A slight sigh left her lips as she looked up to the girl, "Well, one thing you share from your previous teacher is that you have almost no control of your chakra. He, however, has an excuse. You don't. What these two peons are doing is advanced level of Chakra Control training. To be honest, I've no clue if they'll finish it but I doubt that if they can't, you will. So for now, lets do a bit of combination with your control shall we?"
Etna's eyes began to glow a bit as she looked to the girl. She sat still for a moment and began to lick her paws. Her small frame seemed still, too quiet to be sure. But out of no where, she burst forth. A gust of speed pushed her forward at the girl and into her chest. It would be enough to push her off the edge of the cliff.

She was slightly embarassed about her lack of chakra control, but there wasn't much she could do about it, except for train. And in this situation thats exactly what she would have to do. The rush of air would come at Yumi rather quickly. She looked at it with eyes wide as it rushed at her. She was consumed by it and pushed backwards off the edge of the cliff. She was in shock for a second as the way hit her. She let out a slight scream as she went over the edge of the cliff. Yumi tried to grab onto the wall and clutch to its soft edges that protruded from the wall on occasion. She heard the words that Etna had spoke and acknowledged it in her mind but not with her words. Her attempts to grab the wall as she rushed towards closer towards the bottom of the cliff was unsuccessful. She dared not look below her as she knew what would be at the bottom of the cliff. She stared up at the cliff that was rushing by her vision and the ground at the bottom that was threatening her life. Etna was definitely going to push her to learn some things that would make her advance as a shinobi.

[[sorry, I made a slight error in Etna’s attacking pattern. She doesn’t know the Earth mud wave jutsu. I thought she did but she didn’t. Either way, you still get pushed off the cliff its just by a tackle instead of the wave. You can edit yours if you want or not.
Also, I edited the DC to be more doable for you]]
Etna moved to the edge of the cliff and looked down at the girl. She sat there and began to lick her paw and groom herself. It was like she was a regular cat at that moment… but we all knew better than that.
“Any good shinobi, even one that can only use taijutsu, must have a certain level of chakra. To a shinobi, Chakra is everything to a shinobi and thus control of it is just about a precious as life itself. In some situations, it IS life itself. Lets see how well you handle yourself girl.”
Roy dashed over to the edge, the sand still gripped tightly in his hand. His head shifted to the cat whom had no real care for it. Before he could open his mouth, Etna glared to him,
”Boy…if you don’t like my methods, leave now and never show your face around me again. I will not suffer weakness in any that call themselves my pupil.”
A hard chill ran down Roy’s back as he looked to the cat. Sure he knew about her being quick to anger and things like that but he had never seen this look in her eyes. Even when he beat her and captured her she didn’t look this pissed. He gave no other words for fear of pissing her off even more. A slight shuffle of discomfort preceded him moving away from the cliff. He was worried about the girl because she was Gig’s assistant but Etna wanted to force this girl to learn differently. To learn new things. He was scared for her but there was little he could do. After all, the cat could wipe them all out with no effort if she felt like it. And even if she couldn’t, she had a 10 ton, 3 headed mutt that’d be more than capable of doing what she couldn’t.
A sigh left his lips… he couldn’t stand against that and so he didn’t both trying. Grasping the sand tighter, he turned his back to the cliff. If the girl screamed, he didn’t want to be able to hear it directly, it’d rattle his nerves to badly. He began to focus all his chakra into the sand.

Roy’s mind was so focused on keeping the cat off his back that he hadn’t even realized that he was starting to slip a bit. This was a scary thought to him. The cat was already on the rampage, giving her more fuel was not a good thing. An intense focus fell over him and he began to pump his chakra into his hand.
Just like before, the gritty feeling left his hand, the sand was gone. Upon opening his hand, the sand was now a stone. Again he pocketed the results and moved over to the fine water like sand and took another handful. This time he took a rather large amount and needed to use both hands to cup it properly
He was going to get this done

[DC=Chakra Control-2+Str Mod-2+1d20-18=22 Pass]
She wouldn't have very long to be able to not plummet down onto the ground at the bottom of the cliff. She would use both of her hands to try to grab onto any protruding ledge to stop herself from getting closer to the ground before. She really didn't want to endure the pain that would be caused from thumping into the bottom of the cliff. Yumi looked frightened but also stern. She knew what she had to do it was just a matter of doing it. Yumi wouldn't here Etna's words as she rushed down the cliffside, the wind that was being caused by her body rushing down would block out all sounds to her ears. Even her own voice as she had screamed earlier would seem faded and long gone. Yumi had a good smack the last time as she tried to grab a face of the mountain side. It failed and caused her arm to bounce off of it with a throbbing pain. Yumi didn't even grab her hand and focus on the pain she was too focused on the overall idea of survival no matter how hard she beat herself up in the process.
She managed to grab onto one of the ledges. She held onto it with one hand. She had a shocked expression on her face when she realized what she had done. The adrenaline had gone out of her system as she looked at the wall's face. She made her other hand grab onto another portion of ledge to sturdy herself on the face. Then next she found places for her feet to be and looked awkward as she clinged onto the wall face. She had used her control of her chakra to help keep her there. But she didn't fully trust in her ability yet to keep herself attached to the wall. Yumi looked upward with a satisfying look. She wasn't that far down from the top of the cliff and that made her satisfied with how she had done with this life threatening training exercise.
((Is there anything I have to do for climbing back up the wall?))

Shuiro had picked up another lightbulb from the pile she had and fiddled with it between her fingers. Turning her head, she tried to watch Roy with his training, but keeping her static pulse inside her was preventing her from seeing much more than a blurred figure... Looking around she could barely see Etna, a tiny black blobpacing around. It wasn't until she spoke that the girl knew Roy was doing well on his exercise... She wondered if she'd done well for herself too? With no word from Etna, she guessed not. Just a minute or so later, Shuiro's head jolted upwards and turned in the direction she heard footsteps. Squinting, she tried to get a better visual, but alas... nothing came in sight, blurry and such, until about thirty feet or so away. She then listened to the conversation between the new girl and their feline sensei... So our team is completed then, hm? I suppose that's a good thing... We probably needed another Taijutsu type here anyways... with Roy and Etna being all chakra like and whatnot... Not downing on chakra, I use it a lot too... She shook her head out of the mental conversation she was distracting herself with and then lowered it to concentraight on the task at hand. It was time to light up another bulb. Taking in a deep breath, she closed her eyes and held the bulb between the fingers of both hands. She imagined the chakra swirling through her body, building up in her torso, holding and flowing slowly and easily down her arms, and them even slower through her fingers. Her ears heard the light noise of electicity going through the metal, and she opened her eyes slightly to see the bulb with a dim light.

She heard a faint crackle, and felt a sudden spark. Damn it... She opened her eyes again to see the damage. Taking one hand away cased the bulb to go brighter, but sparked again. Taking a breath, she stopped the flow and peered at the small burns on her fingertips. Being a constant electric user, burns were common and didn't affect her too much... Of course, unless she 'deadened' her nerves, the thing stung. At the moment, she couldn't afford to use her energy for anything but the exercise, so she eased the bulb into both hands again, careful with the fingers, and thought carefully about what went wrong this time. When she visualized her chakra moving, it actually went that way. The power of the mind is great. However, there was something wrong with the way she pictured it. Closing her eyes once more, and keeping the plug on the static, Shuiro pictured what she had done and searched for the problem. It didn't take too long for her to realize two things... The first, she was pushing chakra in from both sides, one pushing from one and pulling from the other. The second problem was she'd been using one static charge; positive. She needed to build up a negative charge on the other side as well. Opening her eyes again, she peered closely at the bulb... It appeared, or smelt, burned somewhat, so she figured she'd rather not caugth a mini explosion and grabbed a new one. Then she went on with her training.

Breath was her source of control. If she could control her breath, she could control her pulse. If she could control her pulse, she could control her flow of chakra. And if she could control her flow of chakra, she could control the static flowing into the lightbulb. Fortuneately for Shuiro... she could control all these things... Sure she'd screw up every once in a while, but she always pulled through. It didn't help that everyone always steriotyped her as a dimwitted bimbo... Eh... she'd show them. Eventually, they'd change their minds. Training was going well for her so far. A perk was that Etna wasn't always around her, like she was with Roy. A bonus to the perk, with this training, she couldn't see... so she couldn't see Etna glaring this way and that like Roy could. Though if she could see his expression, she was sure she'd laugh. With every pulse, the bulb steadily grew brighter. Energy flowing in one direction, through one hand and out the other, swirling and recycling in the chest. Hardly any new chakra would be used once she'd mastered it. She was pretty sure of that. She wondered what type of justu she'd be able to create for herself once she'd mastered this type of chakra controlling... Perhaps create a jutsu that surpassed even those in her clans scroll? Such would be an entertaining though... but not one she should be having at the moment. She was doing very well at the time... she didn't want to ruin it.

She couldn't keep her eyes open for long without looking away, as the bulb steadily grew brighter and brighter now... She was still light sensitive... She couldn't even look at the sky if her surroundings were dark. That in itself was kind of depressing. She went with it though... it wasn't like the term 'blinded by the light' was new to her... It was a daily occurance for her and her brother. If anyone really paid attention to them, they would notice that they wouldn't look at certian things... like mirrors facing the light. Glare hurt almost worse than the real thing. It sucks when it hits by surprise. Like going around a corner and BAM! You gotta flinch away so fast you give yourself whiplash. She almost laughed at this thought. It happened to her and her twin on more than several occasions. She was glad this mere ligthbulb wouldn't be providing such a surprise... unless she lost control and chrakra came in with a large burst. The would be bright... and that would hurt... like hell. She kept the flow steady on the bulb as her mind wandered more. The red she saw behind her eyelids didn't dim down, so she assumed she was doing fine while she thought of other things. Like how getting her eyes cheakced at the doctors office was a pain in the butt as well... The tiny flashlight is evil... pure evil... She remembered on time she was almost pinned down so they could check the dialation... She tried to avoid doctors since then... though she's been able to take pain better now.

The memories of the past made her shuddered soemwhat, and unfortunately for herself, she opened her eyes. "Ow..." She flicnched away and lost the pulse she had, cracking the bulb in response. "Shoot... I almost had it this time too... Figures... " A frown crossed her face as she looked down at the broken bulb that now laid on the ground. So much for that... All her hard work went down the drain... all because she wans't paying attention and opened her eyes. Shaking her head, trying to to sulk... really trying, she picked up another bulb and fiddled with it for a bit. She wondered if she'd be able to catch up to Roy? He seemed to be doing quite well for himself, and the cat let him know that too. Oh well, I suppose it's time for a mini break... She set the bulb down in her lap, so it wouldn't break as well, and retrieved a salve from her side pouch, along with a strip of bandages. Easing the goo over the burt areas of her fingers, she wrapped them tightly, but left room for flexability and returned what was left of both to her pocket. Picking up the bulb again, she was ready to start over.

Sweat was beaded over her brow and neck, a few drops slid down her cheek and chest... She didn't dare rase a hand to wipe it away... she neede dboth, after all, to continue her work. She had her pulse going again, nice and slow... like a soft flowing river... She was determined o make it this time... Succeeded her first, failed her second... she would win it this time... She wans't going to stop until she did, too. She had to try to work her way into a semi-meditation state first though... Focusing on her breathing, and not letting any thoughts wander into her head. Atleast not those that had nothing to do with what she was currently working on. She did wonder, though, how long it would take for her to light a bulb properly this time, or how long for the next one if she succeeded. How many light bulbs was she going to have to go through before Etna though she was ready to move on? All of these questions remained a mystery to her... She just hoped things would go quickly, and the cat would approve... She rarely ever got approval. Heaving a sigh, she saw the red go brighter behind her eye lis and then go dim once more... She was going to need more chakra in each pulse to brighten it... but not too much, or else it would bust open... This was the trickiest part of control for her... The pulsing was easy... figuring out how much to pulse was sticky work.
