Lincoln answered the phone when he saw it was his cousin calling. He would always answer her calls, even if it meant having to blow off whatever female company he had. He smiled as he answered.
"Hey Mara!" He listened to her talk for a couple of minutes.
"You're an idiot, everything will be okay. How is that?" He teased.
"Sure. Let's go for frozen yogurt, and you can pick out a baby present. How does that sound?" He pulled out a new T-shirt.
"What time you want to meet up? Or do you want me to pick you up?" He wondered what had her panties in a bunch, he was sure he would find out soon enough. He just hoped it was going to end with his fist improving Dereck's face. She would eventually be upset with him if he did that, even if it wasn't straight away.

Grace grinned at Orion, and stood up straight now, moving the bag into the hallway next to the one she had packed for herself. "Well, it also means that he will get all the ladies, just like his daddy." There was a teasing tone to her voice, lingering on her words. Orion had certainly been a ladies man, hell, he still had women looking at him, but she trusted him. Especially after everything, it just made her feel stronger about their relationship together.
When he spoke about Dereck, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. Their little feud was not something she was sure the men would ever get over. They were both so ******** stubborn, and would never agree to putting the past behind them. She knew them both too well.

Archie Thompson

Archie growled against Lena's lips, of course only once Tyson was out of earshot. His hands stayed on her hips, even as she took a step back from him. It just gave him a better angle to look her over, running his tongue over his lips. "I suppose we should.." He grinned and stepped forward to her, placing his hands on either side of her face. She was just filling his tank up by running her nails over the skin on his back. Soon enough the tank would be full and he would have to start the engine. "That's a good thing, right?" His head ducked down briefly and he brushed her hair over her shoulder, letting himself inhale her sweet, sweet scent before placing a kiss to the side of her neck.

Only then did he pull away, and wink down at her. His fingers moved to his mouth and he whistled loudly, catching Tyson's attention. "How about we go the fair? Hmm?" He reached and took hold of Lena's hand, leading her to his truck and opening the door for not only her, but Tyson as well.

Her nervous laughter floated over the phone line. Leave it to Lincoln to always make light the situation. Perhaps that was just what she needed. Some humor to this all. As he kept talking she nodded her head slowly."Yea sure yogurt and shopping. A cure all right?" Who would turn away ice cream and a shopping trip? She would be crazy. Although she didn't know how hungry she was or if she could focus on the shopping... But hey it was worth a try. And knowing Linc, he could break through this tit of a mood she was in. "Umm...Whenever you want to meet, I'm free."Maralyn replied to his question of when she wanted to go. She had the day off, and well nothing to really do with the day. Maybe she'd take herself to the range too at some point. That was a place Lyn hadn't been to since before all the Dylan stuff. Maybe she just needed to go and relax. Let off some steam."Thank-you by the way."

Victoria Marshall

Victoria shook her head at Jasper, laughing under her breath. "I rather like having you drop by. Makes whatever this is between us, feel normal. Not that it isn't normal you know..." She turned to face him, pressing her lips together. Now she was having a hard time putting her thoughts into words. "I just--it's that I have never dated someone that was a part of a biker MC..this is all kind of out of my element, that's what I meant. And, well, having you stop by is nice...because I know you are busy sometimes and that's okay!" She laughed nervously and shook her head, turning off the water to the sink, before placing her palm to her forehead. "I don't have any plans for the day, and I would love to do something with you....what did you have in mind?" She moved her hands to her hips and chewed on her bottom lip.

"I told you. I stole the phone." Killian paused. "He left it downstairs last night, I took it. The photos and transcripts....My digging and some favors called in." He grew quiet.
"I am not sure if the hoodie has my DNA on it. I took it...acted like it is mine. So I am not sure...can you still run the stain?" Killian redirected his attention to Diana.
"Well....it is nice to hear occasionally that I look good." He responded with a smirk.
"For the most part...no. A few Prospects. A couple of Angels...but they are not chummy with the main branch." Killian waved the waitress over and placed an order for food. Then he looked expectantly at Diana.
"And for the lovely lady....?" He asked with a grin. He was hoping to see her blush. He sipped his coffee and then pushed the cup away. He hated cold coffee. He would not drink it reheated either.

Jasper Fox

He raised his eyebrows at her comment. 'Normal'? He guessed he didn't really even know what it was between them. A chuckle rumbled in his throat at her attempt to explain what she said. The chuckle grew to a laugh. Soon he closed the distance between them, wrapping an hand behind her neck under her hair as he pressed a light kiss to her lips."Being apart of the MC has nothing to do with us. It's just another part time job most the time. Just call anytime you need." Jasper told her seriously even as he continued to chuckle. No matter what he was doing with the MC, if she needed him, he'd find some way to put her first. The MC was still important, but what it was becoming lately was not as important as it had once been. He didn't see the guys anymore. Didn't really feel connected to any of them anymore.

He shrugged taking a step back from her, and placing his hands on either side of her body, "Hadn't thought too far on it. Anything your heart is desiring to do baby? I've got time I want to spend with you today, especially if you've got time to spare."He replied as a coy smile spread across his face.

Di nodded as he replied that he stole the phone, and had called in favors for the rest of the information. She looked up at him, and in a teasing tone asked,"Ever think of a job switch?" With his information gathering skills, he could do well in a lot of different job fields that was sure. But she knew the club was his life; his family. They always had been. A sigh escaped her lips as he replied that he didn't know if any of his DNA was on the sweatshirt. "Yea. I'll just tell them to run the stain. I don't want you brought into it further."She told him. Which was true. He had done a lot, didn't deserve to be pulled into this whole mess anymore than needed. So she'd do what she could to keep him out of it. However if all she was grabbing from the sweatshirt was Cadie's DNA, all she would legally be able to prove was that one of her attackers had worn it that day. Without DNA linking to Black or anyone else, she couldn't necessarily tie it to anyone. Not that she wouldn't sign Killian in as a informant, but his credibility would be called in. As clean as Di knew his character was, she wasn't sure if the legal system would agree with that.

As he responded to her comment, she smiled in return to his confident smirk. One that had made her fall in love with him in the fist place.
"Well good to know he's breaking off from the group then. I can keep it away from the club more than likely." Di responded with a nod and began putting the file he had given her into her bag along with the bagged phone. She heard him ordering food, but was completely unexpecting for him to expect her to order as well. She turned to the waiting waitress and Killian himself taken off guard as a slight pink tinged her cheeks."Ummm. just some chocolate chip pancakes and toast is fine." As the waitress left, her green eyes turned to look at Killian across the table. As teens it had been normal for them to go out and eat. It was better than eating at one of their parents, and if they wanted privacy from the club. "I thought you'd want to leave as soon as we exchanged information. It's not like I'm company you want to keep around for long, but it is a nice surprise."

"Okay. Well I will be over in about an hour. I will pick you up, we can then head to the mall. Do some baby shopping, and get some frozen yogurt. Maybe if you're up for it catch a movie." Lincoln tossed a pair of jeans on the bed. He was trying to pick his clothes out. He wanted to get ready as quickly as possible after her hung up with Mara. He was really looking forward to some one on one time with his little cousin. Time that wasn't spent with them being babysat by some random Reaper.

No Lincoln did not have a problem with Lucky, or any Reaper. He did feel uncomfortable with them watching him like he was a deranged psycho killer who wanted to harm Mara. He also just felt like it made her a bit edgy. He had no clue what was going on with the Reapers, and he knew it was none of his business. So he did not ask questions. He just hoped whatever it was would be resolved before she delivered the baby.

"Later Mara..." He finally said as a way of ending the call. He tossed the phone onto his bed, then headed for the shower. He dressed quickly, for once not really fussing over his clothing. He was not trying to impress his cousin after all.

He arrived about forty-five minutes after he had hung up with his cousin. He got out his car and walked up to her door. Eager to send some quality time with his cousin. He knocked and then called her name.
"Maaaarrrraaaaa!!!!"

The last few months since his twin had died had been really hard. It had been hard to come to terms with losing his best friend and twin brother. To know you wouldn't hear one of his cheesy jokes again. That you wouldn't be forced to take another awful family portrait with him. It was hard to accept that the one blood relative that he actually had left, and was close to in the world was gone forever.

Yes, he had a 'family' in the MC. He would always have people who cared about him as long as he was with them. He would always have a place call home. He would always have somewhere to go for the holidays. All those things were great, but to know the person you had celebrated every holiday with, and who had accompanied you to ever horrible family reunion ever was just gone was hard. There were certain things, certain ties and experiences that he would just never have with anyone in the MC. He hoped at least some of those bonds could still be remembered and shared with his cousin Maralyn.

Killian chuckled. "You are still just to damn cute when you blush!" He said in a teasing tone, but he did mean it. He loved a woman who could be confident yet modest and even a bit shy from time to time.
"HA!" He barked and shook his head.
"This is the only life I am cut out for doll. We both know it. With my record..." He sat back.
"I want to make something clear. I know you don't care, but I feel like it is really...I just want it on the record. I have no romantic connections to Cadence. I am not doing this because of anything sexual or romantic. I mean...briefly I thought I had a thing for her. She totally destroyed my ego shooting me down, and that is fine. I had never been turned down before. It was a humbling experience. Also allowed me to better investigate my feelings for her. I was in lust with her. Lust to me I get. I understand it. I know what to do with that feeling. The part that threw me off was I actually liked her. She has a great personality. She kinda reminds me of you. She has this take charge attitude, and devil may care way about her. Only...she has a temper, and it is explosive. I see her as a sister. A sister that needs to be protected, because I see through her tough girl act. I know inside she is just a scared little girl looking for someone to help navigate her through the choppy waters that are her life. You might think she is a dummy, she isn't. She just occasionally does dumb things without fully thinking them through. She is impulsive but that sort of adds to her childish charm." Killian paused and took a calming breath.
"I just wanted you to know that. I want you to know there is nothing there..." He wanted her to know because he wanted his ex to understand that he was completely unattached. Though he would never come out and say that.

Killian may have been a blunt man, and a real ladies man however he was not good with feelings. He was not good with relationships. He was a freakin' god between the sheets, but outside of the bedroom. In a real relationship, he had no damn clue what he was doing. What he did know was he wanted another go at Diana.

He thanked the waitress when he returned with the food. He had decided on meatloaf, a baked potato and mixed veggies. On the side he ordered his slice of pie, that he ate before his actual meal. The way he saw it....life was too short not to enjoy dessert.
"You should order pie. The pie here is really good." He reached over and placed his fingers over her fingers.
"It's hard for me to wrap my brain around the fact that your a Mother and Agent, when you were that same teenage girl whole would climb out her bedroom window and go riding with me." He smiled at her.
"You're munchkin is pretty though. Looks just like you, lucky for her. I've seen you two about when I have been in town." He explained as he attacked his food.

~Orion Michael De La Cruz~

Orion approached Thomas and picked him up again. He walked him over to Grace and handed him off.
"Can you get him ready to go? I am going to load up the car, and go fill up. I don't want to make any stops once we get moving. Not unless we really have too. I want to get some space between us and the Creek." He kissed her forehead then the top of Thomas' head. He struggled with the love he felt for his son, and the sorrow he felt for the lost of his daughter. Each day it was an inner battle, but he tried to remember that Thomas had nothing to do with any of that. That Thomas was here, and was not someone he should fear. He couldn't allow his pain and fear to build a wall between his son and him.
"Oh, you don't want him to be a ladies man like me. I was a very wild teenager. Lots of partners, and never a single monogamous relationship." Orion shook his head.

He picked up the bags, and started toward the living room. He came back, and poked his head into the room.
"Anything you want me to grab while I am out? Special snacks or anything?" He knew his wife liked to snack. She snacked more than she actually sat and ate a meal. Probably a habit developed from working long shifts, and always being on the go. His eyes moved from her eyes to her breasts, lingered there a moment and then made their way to her face again. Lately all he wanted to do was pounce on her, and rip her clothes. He had to force himself to behave, and that was extremely hard for him. He was not a man who denied himself anything he craved. Be it sex, food, women, cars, bikes or alcohol.

Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine

"Yes, we should definitely go. We can't just leave Tyson to entertain himself..." Lena felt herself shudder in enjoyment and excitement when he kissed her neck. Momentarily her breath caught in her throat. Not fair, he had hit her spot!
"You're a monster..." She mumbled and turned away from him.

She focused on rounding up Tyson and pretty much forcing him into the truck and tying him down. He was talking a mile a minute. Luckily the ride wasn't horribly long. Once at the fair Lena purchased the bracelet for Tyson so he could ride whatever he wanted as many times as he wanted. She wanted him to burn off as much energy as possible.

She watched him run up ahead, and jump in a line. He immediately started chatting with the two children in front of him. The kids seemed to hit it off, and they rode the ride together and ten headed off to another ride together. Lena followed some ways behind him. trying to keep him in sight but not smoother him. She walked along with her hand in Archie's. Just enjoying her his presence. It was comforting, exciting and she was really becoming addicted to it.

~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~

Cadence stared out the window. She wished she was anywhere but where she was. She pressed her hand to the window as she watched the people across the street walking pass without a care in the world. She couldn't make out their faces very well since she was several floors up, but she could make out enough details about them. Everything else her imagination supplied.

She was pulled away from the window. Her wheel chair maneuvered away, and pushed down the hall. She had a nurse that stayed with her while Ben was at work. The nurse arrived at about 7am and left about 7pm. Cadence hated the stranger's help, but it was better than Ben's rough hands on her, like after the nurse left. He was not a patient man, and he did not have a gentle touch. He cared only about what he wanted and needed.

Ben had forced her to check out against the doctor's medical advice. They had wanted her to stay a few more days, but Ben wouldn't hear of it. He told Cadence it was only because Lena had been a b***h to him, and though he boyfriend Archie scared him. He was teaching them both a lesson, or so Ben liked to imagine.

She wasn't sure exactly when the cast on her leg would be off but she couldn't wait. That was when she would launch her escape. Soon as she could walk again. She imagined leaving the hell house she was currently bound to. It would be a perfect day. One where she finally left the Creek behind for good. She knew she had no reason to stay anymore.

Not after Orion had promised her he would not harm her but then sent Black after her. She would never believe Black acted on his own. Orion called the shots, that was common knowledge. To go against his wishes was to invoke his wrath and blood-lust. Cadence knew Lena was safe as long as she was with Archie, as was Tyson. Orion had turned on her, Jasper was being strange and Ben had gleefully revealed why to her almost as soon as she returned to the Condo. So that made her decision that much easier. Only person she had been left to worry about was Killian, at the same time she wasn't sure she could trust him. She had decided to go with her gut feeling and trust Killian.

Killian had always been there for her. Even when she insisted she didn't need anyone, the man had simply hung back in the shadows, always ready to swoop in and help her when she needed it. Besides that Killian was the one who was making all the necessary arrangements for her to disappear. Without his help she would never get far. If he decided to cross her, well...she would surely end up dead this time. Not that she really cared anymore. She was at the end. Too worn down to fight anymore.

~Candie~

But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.

Maralyn nodded against the phone in her hand to her cousin."Sounds great Linc. Thanks! I'll see you soon." She hung up the phone and left it on the kitchen table before walking outside into the yard to watch the dogs. She was glad her cousin was able to spend some time with her, and he seemed willing and happy to even go shopping. It would be good to see the man, and be able to spend some free time with him. She knew since Kennedy's death, the man had had some hard times. It was reasonable; the man had been his twin. Lyn was also glad that so far no other Reaper member had shown up to watch her. She liked the men in the club. They were all great, but sometimes having one of them with her all the time made her feel trapped and locked in. Lyn understood why Dereck wanted one of them with her, yet it was nice to just have some time to herself completely.

After a little while, she brought the two dogs inside the house. She made sure the kitchen was clean, and the chicken for the night was dethawing in the fridge. When she heard a knock on the door, Lyn followed Zeke with a smile hearing Linc call out to her. As she opened the door, she smiled at her cousin.
"Hey Linc. Ready to go?" The woman left the door open as she moved to grab her purse and make sure her gun was inside. Sure she'd be with Lincoln, but that didn't mean she had to be unarmed.

Grace took Thomas and grinned down at the blonde haired, blue eyed boy and rubbed her nose against him, covering his face in a shower of kisses. "Of course. Gotta feed the little guy anyway." She poked his nose and cradled him in her arms, returning her attention to Orion, arching an eyebrow. He was acting a little strange and the fact that he was so eager to get away from the Creek only made her grow a little more curious. But, she attributed his behavior to the stress from everything, and shrugged it off. "He has a crazy momma who won't put up with any dirty, filthy, who--...bad girls.." She corrected herself, and winked toward Orion before moving to the couch, and settling into the seat to feed Thomas. When Orion asked her about snacks she nodded her head, and chewed on her lip for a moment. "Mmmm. I want some hot cheetos, chocolate covered donuts, some cashews..." She looked down at Thomas, and pressed her lips together, before returning her eyes to Orion. "Don't forget some iced coffee! and maybe a redbull or two." Yeah, she really had horrible eating habits, but she had denied herself those luxuries for a while, and now they were going on vacation, so she could indulge. Besides, she never gained any weight, ever. Her metabolism was already through the roof from being a nurse, and now it was still in high gear having to care for Thomas all day.

Before he could leave she whipped her head around again, and knit her eyebrows together. "Be careful." It wasn't that she thought he would do something stupid, it was just that she knew the KOR was after the Angels, and Orion was the president.
