"...You see the surface, but my eyes see more..."He could see that he was getting her nervous, and that wasn't his intention. Really, he just couldn't help the feeling that was bubbling inside of him, and even though he wanted to say it, there was always a part of you that felt nervous and hesitated when you were about to take a big plunge like this. He had worried that the time wasn't right, but the world was ending as they spoke, crashing down around them like so many dying stars flickering their last flashes of light before disappearing forever into the night. If they did not succeed in their mission to Restore the world...then this Earth would be over, and somewhere deep inside of him he knew that if he didn't make this way that he felt more clear, the things that he wanted known, before the end of all things that eternity would be filled with regret for him and his blonde-haired lady love. And that he simply couldn't live with, no matter how much longer that might have been for him. He held her hand softly within his own and he glanced up into her eyes, all but feeling her nerves as he did what so many nervous men before him had done by kneeling in front of the girl that he loved, pressing his lips to her hand, and speaking the words that just felt right at the time to him.

Minori Koroko  His ashen eyes were soft, but there was an intensity in them that made the blond girl blush. The butterflies on her stomach were fluttering intensely, her insides twisting into knots as her brain imagined all the things that he wanted to say. It didn't look like it was something bad; his expression was nervous, but there was a softness to his expression...a glow that made her smile despite herself. She couldn't read what was in his mind, but she could see that whatever he wanted to say was something important. "Genji...?"
Her heart skipped a beat when he took her hand and looked at her, and Minori chuckled nervously, the waiting making her more nervous and curious at the same time. And then...he got to one knee, and her heart stopped. Her face turned bright red, and her nervous smile melted into an expression of complete shock. The weariness and pain on her shoulder were momentarily forgotten, just as the decaying world around her. "W-what are you-" the blond girl began, but stopped herself, listening to his words. Words so sweet, so full of love for her...so meaningful. Did she understand what he wanted to say? Maybe not entirely. What she did know was that she felt the same...and that she wanted to be with him. To spend what was left of this life with him.
Without warning, she threw her arms around him, almost tackling him to the floor, kissing him suddenly, firmly. Her wound protested, and she let out a little 'ow ow', but... really...she was just too happy to care.
