Jin-Hua would find herself in a chair behind a desk. She would look around and see all the Pokemon closing their eyes. Looking at the Gourgeist, she would see he would give her a thumbs up. Was this a game? It wasn't one she had played before but it was best to follow the rules. Closing her eyes and placing a hand up, she would hold a thumb up? The girl was curious what was going to happen next...

>HEY YOU!<
A loud shout, loud enough to shake the snow off some of the cliffs, rang out. A Delibird, sack slung carelessly over his shoulder, stood right in Gin's path. He stared at the boy through clouded, unfocused, but narrow eyes. >Y-YEAH, YOU! WHERE'S MY LIQUOR, YA LITTLE s**t?< He gestured wildly, lurching down the path with a wobble. >I KNOW IT W-WAHSH YOU, YA LITTLE PI-PI-- YA THIEF!< He waggled a fin threateningly as he approached the pair, rifling through his bag with the other. >OR I'M GONNA HAFTA GET ROUGH ON YA!< Like that, the Delibird would yeah something out of his sack-- a rock-- which he aimed right at Gin. Apparently, this pugnacious not-penguin was ready to go!
Tao saw as the Heatmor began to sharpen its claws. "Alright, Mawashi, time to fight."
Mawashi grinned widely and turned to face his oppenent. Serious? Ha! The Pansear began to run straight at the other fire-type in a full out charge, going in for a slide tackle of low kick.

Seret, Mudkip [M] Level 1 Nature: Bold Bio: The first egg pokemon Tao ever had. Well, sort of. A pokemon from the reverted egg of his first pokemon. Tao is still not sure why that happened. The personality of this Mudkip is very different from its previous incarnation. HP:6/12 PP:16/ ATK:5/DEF:6/SPD:6/SP-ATK:6/SP-DEF:6/ Moves: Stomp, Growl EXP:31/50 Pansear [M] Mawashi, Lvl 2 Nature: Brave Bio: The first pokemon Tao had caught. Ever. The Pansear seemed to hate pokemon trainers for some reason during their first encounter. Who knows if the Fire-type will have a change of heart. Stats: HP: 14/14/PP: 17/ATK:7/DEF:7/SPD:7/SP-ATK:7/SP-DEF:7 Moves: - Low Kick - Nasty Plot - - EXP: 56/75
Takeshi didn't like the looks of this one. Going to have to get rough? The Charmander smirked. That was a sight he wanted to see. Pokémon didn't drink liquor...clearly there was something wrong with the Delibird. No time like the present! That in mind, he bared his fangs leaping from Gin's shoulder and charged aiming to Bite down and feel the precious blood flowing in his mouth and tear a chunk of flesh off this one!
As there was a loud shout, Gin tensed ready for action. However instead of a more subtle form of attack, he would see a Delibird? The pokemon seemed a bit off. He looked directly at it's gaze and what could be wrong with it? As he continued to stare at it, a rock came hurtling towards him. The boy would move to the side quickly in an attempt to avoid it!
Scyther [F] Chiyome, Level 2 Nature: Lonely Stats: HP: 6/15/PP:18/ATK:11/DEF:7/SPD;9/SP-ATK:7/SP-DEF:8 MOVES: - Steel Wing - Leer EXP: 0/75 Bio: Takeshi and Gin were traveling through the Foggy Forest when they were challenged by a Scyther! The pokemon loved the thrill of the battle and had a high energy level along with a certain bloodlust. Curious, Gin watched as Takeshi deemed the pokemon worthy and so the shinobi caught her.

The Pansear would find his momentum lacking, noty that his accuracy was any better. With nothing to halt her actions, the Heatmor would finish sharpening her claws. They'd gleam faintly as she looked upon the Pansear with narrowed eyes. The little simian was lucky she wasn't like her father before her; had she been performing something a tad more aggressive, the damage would have been....severe.
As it was the Heatmor would hunker down, crossing her arms over herself in preparation for the Pansear's next attempt.
As the game went on, with her eyes closed, Jin-hua would feel one of the Pumpkaboo press her thumb down. When the round was over, she and 6 Pumpkaboo would stand up. One by one they would each attempt to pick the one whom had touched their thumb. Some would succeed, others would fail. Jin-Hua was sadly among the failures. Thus before her eye's she'd see the Pumpkaboo that had selected, her, along with a few others, being openly devoured by Peek-a-boo in one gulp.
Then as if it were never there, the Pokemon and desks would vanish. It would seem the path was open to her once again. She'd finally made it back to the second ring.
Entering the mountains, Jin-Hua would surprisingly find the first thing she encountered to be a Shieldon. Snorting, the Pokemon ran head first into a large hunk of ice, but moments later would flee as a Glaceon appeared from behind. Although the Pokemon would disappear at the sight Jin-Hua, any good trainer would know that only one thing caused an Eevee to become a Glaceon. This was it, the stone she'd been looking for; the Icy Rock.
A stone that caused evolution... Wait! This was it! The girl looked pleased, pulled out the camera, took a picture and then smiled. Both parts of her mission were now complete! She could try and leave now. That in mind, she would quickly continue back towards the beginning of the island.
The Pokemon would take a hit but overall be fine. The monkey moved faster then she had predicted. It wasn't a mistake she would make again. Scanning over the Pansear with a calculating gaze, she would begin by using Iron Defense!
"Alright, catch!" He tossed the oran berry to Pansear who caught it in his mouth, eating it. He could feel his strength returning, and was officially ready to fight. That, however, was Alex's last recovery item. He'd either need to catch another pokemon or be very careful from here on.
Now that she had strengthened her defenses, the Pokemon was done with her preparations. While it was good to have a strong attack, it was also good to have a strong defense. This is mind, she began to focus as the waves of heat radiated off her body. They grew stronger and stronger aiming to hit the Pansear! This was a Heat Wave attack!
"It's already hot in here, but now...Alright, Pansear, get ready to avoid it." He focused, eyeing the fire slug as he prepared for it to shoot. Alex stayed back a bit as well, not wanting to be caught in the crossfire.
Lucy snicked at the Snorunt's goofy but intense look. As far as battles went, this one was actually pretty fun! She didn't feel too bad for the ice-type like she did the Roselia, or any of the other Pokemon she'd fought. So she didn't feel bad pushing her luck with another swooping Air Slash in a counter!

The ice Pokemon looked surprised. Leering had...worked? Wonders may never cease. Smiling brightly, she would wave at the Emolga, turn to look at Alistair, stick a tongue out and then begin to burrow into the snow trying to hide in it's depths to protect her!
