I had 3 years of French in middle school, but nothing actually stayed, I was trying to pick it back up, in duolingo. hehe
I'm moving to Romania for a year, soon, so I'll learn Romanian as well! : )

I've honestly never even been outside of Portugal at all!
And even Portugal, I haven't explored much.
I'm going to Romania to do volunteer work, so I don't actually have to pay for much, so I'm lucky in that aspect. ahah
Did you have fun in those places? : ) Which did you like best?
Here's an expression for you "Muito obrigada!" is how females say "thank you very much" in Portuguese.

I've never been happier than when I travel. I loved France. I actually cried when I left. I like to travel... just not with my family. I was alone in France, with my school in Costa Rica, and with my friend in New York~
My family causes me stress. A lot of stress. :C
I'd love to visit Portugal, though. I wanna hear Portuguese. Really beautiful language. Brazil is cool, too. They have Carnival, and we have Mardi Gras. But I prefer Europe....

We have carnival too, it's at the same time as Brazil's, but a little different, theirs is much bigger. Ours is kind of like your halloween but with no trick or treating.
I'd like to visit Brazil too, but America is so far away! Maybe one day...

I wanna go! We have Mardi Gras, which is like Carnival. There are a lot of drunk people and partiers. But the parades. Beautiful. And the king cake! I love king cake! I went to a parade in the city, and it was absolutely crazy! But I love it. biggrin
