I am a normal Tau player on the board, but they just don't satisfy me in DoW. sweatdrop

*Laughs* Three Fire Warrior squads vs. a Bloodthirster. Bloodthirster goes down before he can kill one of the Fire Warriors.
As for the Assault troops, that's where the Kroot come in =P

The bloodthirster owns hardcore. I lost him after being bombarded for 5 minutes by an entire fleet of imperial guard tanks (Those massive ones), footsoldiers, and sentinals.
I think I will send the bloodthirster into tau territory today and see what happens. biggrin

The Tau Are freakin' AWESOME in Dark Crusade. So far, I've taken down the Necrons, Chaos, and IG.

i played out the campaign with tau on hard in a single day. but you don't want to know how long i was behind it that day

Man, T'au own just about anything hard core in the campain
I usually go Mont'Ka to get the hammerhead and crisis suits and stuff grab a few kroot distract the comp as my skyrays and hammerheads blow the crab out of him
And man, I was playing a game against the orks not to long ago, and fire warriros just tore slugga's apart like I'd never seen anything in an rts
My only complaint with thier army is a lack of dectector units, and then you can only have one of each of them anyway (Vespid and T'au Commander)
When I'm not playing T'au though, I'm usually playing either Space Marines or Gaurd, because Kaskrins rock

But oh god...Necrons get raped by stealth units, unless you have the Orb of Light ability or feel like bringing builder scarabs with you wherever you go, your pretty much screwed.

When I play space marines against tau I get raped early on because I cant locate the masses of stealth suits without a librarian.

I have trouble with them too in the campaign, they like to come from all sides, and without warning...
