Mala smirked. "Van, it's a luxury for us - not a necessity. If you'd like, we can rough it while they stay inside." she replied, somehow making it seem like she was speaking both normally and making an innuendo in one sentence.

Van just shrugged. "We're going to wind up sleeping in sleeping bags anyway. The only difference for now is that we'll have four walls and a roof over heads."

Angel was laying down, feeling her tummy growing beneath her fingers, when she heard a noise and smelled a familiar smell. "Puppy!" she cried out happily as she was hugged by Lupa.
"Tell me everything that's happened to you," Lupa ordered, keeping the bond open so Alek was getting everything... as Angel explained her pregnancy in a cheerful voice. WHAAAAT?! Lupa winced at the scream that came through the bond. Then she murmured, "Um, your brother wants you to know that he's going to kill or at least maim the father, and he'll have flowers for you and your baby."

Mala smiled, reaching out to grab his hand. "That, plus, we might not always have to worry about getting to the next town if we're wanting to have fun." she leaned up and whispered in his ear.

"I thought I'd spare you the trouble of hearing that - especially since your screwing around like a rabbit is what got you into this mess to begin with." Mala pointed out, sticking out her tongue at Riley before leading the way off...until they got out of the store. "Uhm...Riley? Could you lead the way back to Angel?"

Mala smiled and shook her head slightly at Riley. She couldn't believe that her little baby was already going to be a dad. She was conflicted with thinking that he was growing up and that he was a dumbass for getting into this situation to begin with when he's this young.

"It's Puppy," Angel said, smiling warmly. "Puppy, this is Riley. He's my baby's daddy."
Far away, Alek started laughing. "Riley? Riley got her pregnant?" He kept laughing until he was on the floor, in near-hysterics. He was unaware of why it was so funny, but still.
Lupa nuzzled Angel's cheek. "Nice to meet you all. My name is Lupa and I am a werewolf."

"Just a warning, but I'll be kicking some asses if either of you try to neglect your duties as parents." Mala warned as she pulled out the supplies from her bag that Angel had listed. "I bought the finest I could. Believe it or not, I also got us some shelter so that you don't have to worry about something happening to the baby if you're both sleeping." she said casually, overall ignoring the werewolf as she said what she did to Angel.
