Hearing some shouting in the forest, Nina wondered if she should do something about it. After some thought, she decided, Nah. Its unlikely that they will disturb this, so we should be fine. Looking at Conner, she said, "Well, if your not ready, just say so. I'm fine with anything, but you gotta tell me things. I try not to mind read you know."

"All right then. I need you to step into the middle of the cross that I drew. From there, I'll explain what you need to do and what will happen. I've never tried this before, so I'm going to be extra careful."

Kiriko flew up, waiting for further instuctions.

"From here you just need to stand there. Nothing for you to do. Although you might feel a bit sleepy, but thats what the drink was for. It should be no more than 5 min, so don't expect nothing fancy. =] Just wanted to put that out there. Now, Kikiro" she turned to face her," I'm going to need your instincs. Go human and make sure no one distracs us. I'm going demon, so be extra carful."

Kiriko nodded and landed. Turning human, she said, "Good luck both two of you. Come back alive, please." Walking out of sight, she opened her senses to make know who was in the forest.

To Conner, she asked, "So you want me to explain what I'm doing, or do you just want to get this over with?"

"If anyone's leaving here somehow dead, its me, so nothing to worry about." Coughing, she started to explain. "Basically, what I'm doing is binding 'life-force' -for lack of better term- to you, so that you can use it to repaire your body and powers, and let you live. I can have it run out in around the time of the hundredth year, so that you'll have to die. But the hard part is to manipulate that 'life-force', so I'm gonna havta go into a higher power. Binding it to you will not be hard. Although, during the binding, I need your 'life-force', which is why you might feel a bit tired. Going off topic a bit, this is why you and Emily are connected. My theory is that she had somehow lightly binded a bit of her life-force with yours, which is why your still here. When this is done, that binding will either be undone, or it will still be there, so she will get 0.05 % of the life-force that you'll receive. So nothing really is going to happen to her. I don't think anything else is important. I've already talked for long enough, I think. Anything else you think you want to know?"
Moving over to the water, she drank it, for she had never done such a long speech in her life before.

Rolling her eyes, she said, "I'm half dead already. I don't think I can go any farther than that." Checking one last time to make sure no will will disturb them, she said, "Just relax. I won't be able to hear you, so if anything feels weird, think loudly. This spell is supose to let the ... person feel comfortable, just sitting or standing outside in the breeze." Turning into her hightened form, she took a deep breath, opened her eyes, and asked for the last time, " Are you ready?"

"vis , permissum mihi take of vestri ut mei ut make what ego postulo aborior mihi solvo quoque illud inter mihi" Slowly, her one eye started to glow brighter. Focusing all her strength on collecting the life-force, one bead of sweat appeared on her forehead. At first, small amounts of barely visible blue energy flew slowly to Nina's hands. As the momentum sped up, the energy or life-force began to be more and more visible and solid like. Gathering it in a ball at her hands, Nina looked towards Conner, sending him a look that showed that she was wondering how he was doing so far.
