"Oh please, don't pretend like you don't know. You took her away from me, the most beautiful vixen i had ever layed eyes on, my beloved. When she and my kits were out hunting for food they never came back. I found them near your cat stench-ed camp, her throat clawed out." [He said in response to Starkcloud's naive question.]
This is it. If i dont kill them now, i will bleed to death! They must all die.. all of them...
ALL OF THEM!!
[Blaze let out a feirce howl of pain and rage at the cats before him until something completely unexpected happened. a small she cat steped forward, pain to mach his own in her eyes as she offered herself completely unarmed to him. The handsome fox's golden, wrathful eyes locked onto her like the scopes of a sniper rifle as she neared him, fangs glistening like a dagger in the night.]
"PURESUN NO!! GET AWAY FROM HIM!!"
[lavenderstar cried out in horror as her daughter walked up to the murderous, insane monster. If he took her life.. before her eyes... she would wish that she had only one life to loose. Tears of fear streamed down her face, her courage braking.]
[Blaze stared the small she cat in the eyes hate brewing at the sight of her until it was shattered with the one word he only heard in his dreams....]
Im sorry...
[Blaze stared at her in shock, as if he had been suddenly stabbed through the heart and saw his life end before his eyes.]

[Tears of pain and shock began to fall down the foxes face]
Im sorry
[Her words were far more painful than any claws he had faced, any bite he had delivered...] "....sorry wont bring them back. They are gone... forever."
[His gaze was directed to Jenny and Trot as she spoke of losing those he still had. His eyes were opened, if only for a second at the sight of her morning over her lost brother. He snapped out of it at the more rough voice of Eagalsoar calling his attention over to the Wolverines. He snarled angerlly at the tom.] "YOU killed him?"

Maybe yelling at the fox leader wasn't such a good idea after all. Now with two foxes snarling at him, Eaglesoar's hackles rose even further, making him seem bigger than his already large size. Still, he was never one to back down, and stupidly enough, not even now.]
"Yeah, I killed him, and it wasn't hard. Surprised? You still didn't answer my question mutt, don't you think it's more likely those...things killed your mate?"
[He snarled as he pointed to the wolverines with his tail, his unsheathed claws clicking on the smooth stone surface. He might have ruined Puresun's moment of breaking through...oh well, she could yowl at him later. He realised that he might be just being stupid, and that it's highly likely that both foxes would attack him at once. Still, at least he got his question off his chest, now all he needed was an answer. Well, if the foxes don't decide to rip him apart, that is.]
A cat single-pawed killing a fox would return with horrendous injuries...so far, only Tigerfang and I have returned from a fox attack. What's he blabbering on about?

[I began to feel hope as I saw the crazed fox's thoughts whirring. The moment was pierced by an arrogant voice shooting across the clearing and I hissed in annoyance.]
"Eaglesoar," I snapped, "This is not about your ego. You killed a fox. Congratulations. You took the life of another creature. Congratulations. This serves no purpose right now, and it'd really be nice if you stopped mentioning it."
[My tail whipped as I glared at him, hopefully silencing the tom.]
I turned back to Blaze, saying quickly, "We do what we have to to survive. You brought your foxes here, and we must fight-even to the death- in order to live. We would never attack a fox unprovoked. There has to be something missing! Why would we want to murder an innocent fox and her cubs? We always value driving them out of our territory above that! "
Glancing back at Lightsound gratefully, I said, "Lightsound's right. This is only a vicious cycle. Even if you survive and kill us all, look who you're losing. Look at all the deaths your packmates must now carry because of this. Now their friends are dead, their mates. What if..."
I began to tremble, but I continued, "What if we just let you go?"
[My mother looked at me incredulously, but I continued.]
"What if you j-just took your packmates, and left? You could just live again. You could-make a new life, be happy. You could! Whatever the Slayers promised you, it is only for their gain. You lose with them, Blaze. You lose with them."
[I began to tremble harder from the sheer emotion conflicting inside me, but I pressed on.]
"B-because whatever we did to your packmates, we're sorry. It's...we wouldn't kill like that. We're sorry. Don't..."
My face twisted as I whispered, "Don't let hate consume you."
I added painfully, "If your friends were watching you now, do you think they'd be happy? Do you think they'd want you to be in so much pain? Or would they want you to be happy?"═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire

(( Technically cats aren't supposed to understand anyone but Blaze, who can speak catspeak. ;D All of the leaders of the beasts speak catspeak. 8D LOL it's okay, I actually expected him to ruin the moment xD <333 Silleh eaglesoarrr. [Blaze glared darkly at Eagalsoar, his hate returning to him. He could hear the small warrior's voice try to regain his attention. He glanced over to him, his harsh glare remaining. She was right, he could save those who remained, but then what had they all been fighting for, had all those dedicated members who fell to their claws have died for noting. He couldn't allow that! They have to die! But what if the cats found some way to survive. As long as there was one nightclan cat still alive the mission would have failed. Blaze snarled as he paced, contemplating these thoughts in his head. His comrades and his pride was on the line.]
"I can never be happy, my happiness died along with my family..."
[He would have asked weather or not she understood but he knew the answer already. They had taken cats lives, removed them from their loved ones, weather or not theses horrid monsters were truly capable of love to begin with. Puresun, Lightsound, Lavenderstar, Starcloud, they made him wonder... weather he could have possibly been wrong.]
What if its a trick! What if they really did kill her and just want me gone because of their dwindling numbers. Will the pack accept a retreat if i called one? They too are just as determined. How many times have i told them and their kits of these monstrous cats? ...I cant let those who still live suffer for my pain. This is my fight now, and mine alone, even if i am outnumbered...
[Blaze let out a howling yip into the night sky, all of his pack members looked up and yipped back in response to their crafty leader's call. Some sung in joy, some in confusion, some in shock and some in pain.]
"My brothers and sisters, too many lives have been shed. I don't want to loose any more then i already have. Retreat my children, live to fight, to love another day, live to love another. I will remain."
[The pack yipped in tears, begging him not to fight alone, some begged him to fight along side him, still starving for revenge of their fallen loved ones.]
"No Blaze, let us fight with you!"
"Blaze, how could you tell us to leave? We have them right where we want them!"
"Blaze, dont leave us!"
[The night was filed with their cries, giving the night a beautiful yet eerie atmosphere.]

[Ice growled at Songpaw even though Ice had Songpaw in her mouth to carry her. Ice looked at the other cat that was talking to her and nodded lightly before turning and running off into the bushes away from the fighting. Ice set Songpaw don't before growling,]
"I don't care if you want to fight. That wound isn't going to stop bleeding for a while, sit still and let me help! By the way, thank you for the idea."
[Ice had turned towards the other cat calmly before looking back at Songpaw. Ice studied Songpaw for a second before turning away and getting some cobwebs that were on some bushes. Ice turned around to tell Songpaw to sit still and let her fix her wounds.] I've seen the death of so many cats I love, but I am like a storm of ice. Did she have bee's in her brain? I nodded] "Puresun's right. You need to think about what your vixen would feel about what you're doing. Yes, she would be happy that you're avenging her death. But would she be happy that you are killing and hurting others?"[I meowed and padded to Puresun's side, resting a tail on her shoulder. I honestly admired the warrior right now. She had some bravery doing this, and I would help her if she needed it. I cast and encouraging smile to the she-cat and looked back at Blaze]

[I sighed as Blaze called to his pack] "What are they saying?" [I whispered in a soft voice] "I can honestly say, I don't remember killing any foxes... Please, believe us. This hurts us too. You're not the only one who has been subject to losing a mate. Other's have had to go through that too. It hurts, yes. Of course, but that's good. Be thankful that you have someone so special to miss. If she wasn't so special, then you wouldn't miss her, and it wouldn't be worth it." [I babbled on and on. I didn't know what else to say. So I just looked at him]

CHERRYPAW [Cherrypaw nodded to Ice, and continued her battle with Angel. She set the snake down in front of her.]"Stay away from my clan or I swear I'll kill you!"[She hissed through her teeth. That was the first time Cherrypaw had ever hissed in a life time, and it felt awkward.]
[@June- Feel free to have the snakes put her in a near death situation. :3]

However, he did have some degree of respect for Puresun, regarding her as someone wise beyond her age. He shot her a dark and murderous look, but wisely enough chose to keep his mouth shut. To his utter shock, as Puresun tried to reason with the blood thirsty fox leader, the fox let loose a howling yip to round up his foxes, not the fierce growl as he would have expected, but a tone which held more than just sorrow. Never in his life would he ever have thought such a feat was possible. If it had been up to him, he won't have hesitated for a heartbeat to rip the fox's throat out, ending its threat to Nightclan.]
Puresun could be right, violence isn't everything.
[He thought grudgingly, not very eager to admit that the small stubby legged warrior was right. Heh, all the other warriors like Lightsound and Starkcloud were readily agreeing with Puresun, meowing with patronising voices - were they all soft? Nightclan was supposed to be battle-hardy and tough, no room for those weak at heart!]
"Huh, good riddance. At least they're leaving without a fuss."
[He growled as he glared at Blaze and his band of foxes, not willing to admit from his mouth that he agreed with Puresun. Yes, they were leaving, but how many of Lavenderstar's lives did they take? [Snarling in pain, Fang snapped her teeth together, hoping to catch Mosstar. After emitting a quick hiss of pain, the elegant queen pulled it together and scanned the throng of cats and beasts, knowing the leader couldn't of gone far. Slithering forward, weaving her way around the fighting, Fang searched for Mosstar, intent on her death]
"Come out, O fearless one, I promise not to hurt you too bad" Fang hissed mockingly.
[Swinging her head from side to side, Fang let the scents flood into her, trying to find Mosstar. There was a lot of blood, sweat and... where was she?!]

[Angel lay in front of Cherrypaw, her head slowly moving from side to side, yellow eyes gazing into the ones of the apprentice. Boy, was she tired. Pushing away her exhaustion, Angel raised her head and hissed, drawing her lips back over her fangs. Without hesitation, she darted forward and dug her teeth into Cherrypaw's shoulder]

[I dropped another snake from my mouth, spitting as I could taste nothing but their blood. Straightening up, I padded towards Lavenderstar, my heart clenching. She looked to be in horrible condition. I slowed down as I heard the conversation. What was going on? Were the foxes...giving up? Confused, I stopped in front of my leader and fellow Clanmates]
"Lavenderstar? How're you feeling? What just happened? Do we still have to fight?"
[I said all of that in a big rush, my heart still pounding from the rush of a fight. The last question was stupid. Every other cat was still fighting for their lives. But, suddenly, I just wanted this to be over. I wanted to go home and see Mudnose, make sure she was ok, and sleep for a moon. Every part hurt, and I was pretty sure whatever small bit of my left ear was now gone. Great, now I probably looked like even more of a freak]

[Weakness was the last thing Mosstar wanted to think about, only focusing on the long body of the queen snake. Although this was a perfect enemy for the SeaClan leader, Mosstar wouldn't deny the fact that she was partially frightened. The queen snake looked awfully strong and Mosstar was getting...
...old.
Could she really go against such a young snake? Shaking her head a bit, she frowned deeply. She had to remember, weakness is unacceptable. Especially in this battle. Quickly yet quickly, the shadow-like she-cat made her way through the crowd while her thick gold gaze focused on her enemy.
She stopped, feeling her present location was perfect. Not too far yet not too close. Unsheding her long claws, she went into a crouching position. Her back paws placed firmly against the solid ground. Her fur perked with uncomfort, shivering from their long scales. Hissing in frusteration, she reminded herself not to show weakness. Not even take a glimpse of it.
Finally, her attack commenced.
She sprang from her hind legs, causing her to jump high in the air. Sneak attack was successful. Aiming right into the queen snake, she gripped her claws firmly into its smooth skin, hissing as they rolled on the ground. Mosstar bit into the snake's long body, her eyes in a deep frown. As successful her sneak attack was, the leader made a foolish mistake. The leader didn't focus on the snake's fangs, that can easily sink into her skin.]
