Wow. That time travel idea is really starting to make me wish I could be Canada for this RP. Ah well, I wasn't quick enough.
The problem though, is that Israel-san wouldn't even be alive until well after the main time-line of Hetalia itself. She's only about 60-something, you know. I'd say she's one of the youngest nations chronologically speaking.
Ah, I never really left. I was lurking quietly, is all. I'm usually up well into the night. Plus, I live in California, so it's not even what I consider "late" yet anyway. *glances at clock* 10:13 PM.
Six hours to go until I start to feel just a little bit groggy. XD
Ah, that reminds me. My friend and I started writing a collab fanfic about Canada. It's cavity-inducing on the fluff-o-meter.
Summary: Matthew Williams (Canada) becomes infatuated with a civilian from a small island in his nation and he starts to follow her around quietly. One day the girl, who's name is Brittany, finally notices him, but in order to continue being her friend, he feels that he must conceal his identity as the "Spirit of Canada" for lack of a better term. On Canada day, though, an arsonist starts setting fires to various forest regions of Canada, and Matt gets injured. Brittany decides that she and Matt should team up to track down the arsonist and stop him from hurting Canada further. Meanwhile, Matt's figuring out that he loves her more than just as one of the more fortunate inhabitants of his country, and becomes torn between remaining as Canada or retiring and living out the rest of a mortal existence with Brittany -- all while attempting to keep Arthur, Francis and Alfred from accidentally revealing his secret.
Brittany is based on my friend who I'm collaborating with, and most of the story takes place in Nanaimo. I still have a LOT of research to do on Canada and the landmarks and cities and towns... so hopefully this story turns out well. I think the concept is adorable.
What do you guys think?

Um...do a trailer/intro type thing? Or just type in something, and when more people come back on, they can post their ideas.
Ah...I'm not too much a fan of OC's in fanfics, so I think it's best I stay quiet for that. Sorry I'm not much help, TC! D':

Ah, that's okay Blaire. I'll post an excerpt here for the rest to read when they come back.
~*~
"Matthew, what in bloody blazes took you so long in getting here!?" demanded a short blond fellow dressed in business-like attire. He seemed to have rushed over after a meeting or something like that, since he was holding a briefcase that was packed up in haste. Papers stuck out from one of the corners. His jade-green eyes blazed with anger, but also worry. He spoke with a thick, British accent that made him sound very very important.
The green-eyed Brit stood between two taller men. One was a feminine-looking man with long, wavy flaxen hair that looked a lot like Matthew's, tied back with a scarlet ribbon that made him look rather elegant and sophisticated. A single red rose was fastened to the boutonniere of a fancy, royal blue suit that looked like something out of a catalog advertising the newest fashions from Paris, and his lips were pursed in concern. His expression brightened when Matthew had approached, though.
The other man was a smug-faced bleach-blond who dressed sloppily and held a balled up paper wrapper from a hamburger in one hand and a bomber jacket reminiscent of World War II fighter pilots draped casually over the other arm. He wore thin-rimmed reading glasses in front of sky blue eyes that blazed brighter than an Olympic torch, but not in anger. More like endless confidence.
"S-sorry Arthur..." Matt stammered. He clutched Kumajirou tighter to his chest, almost like a frightened child. He always hated it when Arthur scolded him, not because he wanted to avoid getting in trouble, but because he felt miserable for disappointing his family.
"It is okay." the wavy-haired blond said, placing a reassuring hand on the Brit's shoulder. His smooth, silken accent was definitely French. "As long as Matthieu is safe and sound, we have no problem, mon chou." His voice was like velvet and made even the most uptight people blush slightly.
Which is exactly what Arthur did as he clenched his fists at his sides, attempting to curb his embarrassment. After a few milliseconds, the Brit channeled this emotion into anger. "Call me your 'sweet little cabbage' one more time Francis. Just ONE MORE TIME!" he growled angrily.
Just the tiniest hint of glee crept over the Frenchman's face, forming a catlike grin upon his elegant lips. "Mon chou." Francis purred.
In his rage, Arthur nearly punched Francis in the jaw, but not before being interrupted by the third blond, who held up his hands. "Calm down, you two!" he shouted. He seemed to be level-headed. At least for now. "Is this any way to act when we're visiting Matthew's place at such a time!?"
The two older men instantly stopped their bickering and bowed their heads in both apology and shame. "Sorry." they muttered in unison.
"Honestly. Sometimes your level of maturity makes me find it hard to believe you two were the ones who fou--"
"F-found us at the orphanage!!" Matt exclaimed, a bit louder than intended. His voice almost cracked. He pulled Alfred aside and hissed a warning in his ear and glanced nervously at Brittany.
Alfred's eyebrow's suddenly puckered, and then one of them arched high into is hairline. "Alrighty then. I'll keep your secret, Matty. But you owe me for this later." he said quietly. He was grinning from ear to ear -- a very bad sign. He clapped his younger brother on the back with a broad smile and a cheerful peal of laughter as the Canadian's glasses were nearly knocked askew from the sheer force of impact. "Well then, let's get Matty here to see Doctor Livingstone for his burns and be on our way, hahahaha!" Alfred seemed overly enthusiastic. More so than usual. Arthur and Francis exchanged indecipherable glances, shrugged and then followed Matt and Alfred into the clinic.
Brittany, who was somehow completely ignored stood in half-shock at the front door of the small medical clinic run by Doctor Livingstone, the elderly practitioner who was like a grandfather to everyone in town. She blinked maybe a few hundred times to try and clear the strange scene from her mind, but wound up chuckling to herself instead as she stepped inside. "What interesting people..." she mused quietly, a small smile on her lips.
