I would've raised hell had a professor given a 200+ page reading assignment. That's just obnoxious.

U_U
That's like...the one thing I would have been very sad if we had to do way back in seventh grade. I've only had to dissect an Earth Worm (I got an A on that for showcasing/making everything easy to see *giggles), A frog, and a squid. I think if I had to dissect a cat or a doggy I'd get very sad..

lol. I remember the earth worm. Twas fun.
And Yup! We have cats. Is fun. At least she the people who have/ had cats pick first. I have no problem with it, but I may have if I had gotten a tiger kitty... She [my teacher, that is] said they used to get at least one pregnant cat a year, but some people got all mad. Somehow we still get fetal pigs, though...
Oh! And I gots a letter from stanford about joining up with their summer classes for high schools! :O I mean, I'm not gonna do it [probably wouldn't get in anyways, can't afford it, I'm an east coastie] but still. Surprised me...

Oh duuude-- I'm in nursing school still... We Dissect EVERYTHING our teachers can get their hands on.
We have a cadaver lab. ^_^
Though one time the cooling system in the lab went down... And let me tell you... I know what Zombie Land would smell like.

They remodeled the science/social science building on campus last year and my prof's office was moved into the old cadaver lab. He was so unhappy...xD

I failed any dissecting project we did in school crying One sniff of the formaldehyde and my stomach turned itself inside out. I had to spend the class somewhere else where I couldn't smell it.
