Luciano looked up from his now sleeping Michelle, who was curled up against him on the couch. He could hear Skotti talking to a man, but he didn't want to interupt at all, so he turned his attention back to his tiny little lady. He kissed her on the forehead and then he covered her up with his Grizzly Hoodie and the nearest blanket, keeping her warm.

((( Just letting everyone know, I might not be posting until much later in the day if I even do post today. I'm heading out to the mall and then an electronics store, and afterwards I'm going to be installing programs on my laptop. I might get carried away with it, not to mention my sister takes AGES to shop for stuff. )))

Romulus looked at the old man barking orders and disappeared into the kitchen. He came back with some tea.
"Earl Gray, Mr., the blackheart?" He asked, setting the set down on the coffee table.

Pen stood silent as Rom came out with the tea. She glanced over to Luc and Michelle on the couch. Seeing her friends in her room was more reason to stand and watch this old man until Skotti showed up.

Skotti came up from the basement along with the unit, he froze.
"B...Boss...." Skotti said, frozen in his boots.
"So is this what you have been doing, boy? teaching bad accents?" asked The Blackheart.

Pen relaxed and stood straight again seeing the Boss had known the old man. However she crossed her arms and looked away as if she was insulted by the Blackheart's comment.
I didn't think it was bad. He thinks I would let him because he can knock a door down. If he was more level headed the door wouldn't need to be replaced.

Luciano raised his brow at the older gentleman yelling at Skotti, he didn't want Michelle to wake up so he kept her wrapped up in the blanket and he carried her up the stairs to his room, which was now 'their room'. He didn't want to miss this, but he wanted to spend a little time with Michelle for a little while. He walked up the stairs, keeping her tightly in his arms. "Sleeping sounds like a good idea right now." he thought, so he walked into his room and closed the door.
((Last post for tonight. I'll be on later in the day tomorrow. In the morning I'll be going to a breakfast then afterwards I'll be heading off to Church, and then after Church I may be doing odd jobs around the house, or I may be with Alison. I'll try to post more tomorrow.))

She watched Luc carry his fiance up the stairs and seemed to be soften by the scene. Though once they were half way up she turned her attention back to the old man and a rather stunned Skotti.
"You know him Boss? Because I'm not paying for the door." she said sternly. This had been rather rough and the old man bossing the boss was not something Pen wanted to see. It made her feel stupid she didn't let the Blackheart in, but how she suppose to know who the old man was to Skotti.

"Pen... this is the man that taught me every single thing I know about combat... he is a living legend." Skotti said, saluting The Blackheart.
"And it looks like you had forgotten what I taught you about staying out of the public eye" He said flicking, on the TV,
"Looks like you have taken good care of that SVD though".
"Why are you here, boss? we have not seen you in years and all of a sudden you show up?" asked The Shade.
"I saw your leader shooting up gaian soldiers and that can only mean that General Mortimer is back" said The blackheart.

Now Pen felt really dumb. Its not like random people come up to the door everyday. It made sense that the Blackheart knew where to find Skotti. She should have known that only insiders know where the base was. Why didn't I let him in?
She let her arms fall to her sides and wiped the serious, confident, know-it-all look from her face. Now it was somber and humble with a tint of embarrassment. Seeing the unit behind Skotti she even felt more self conscious. She turned and saw that Cindy's report was on again. It wasn't my fault anyway. If he told me who he was the door would be on hinges.
The thought cleared her mind and the embarrassment passed. "I'm sorry sir I had no way of knowing. I hope you can accept my apology." Pen directed to the Blackheart with a tired tone and with small bow. It might not have been my fault but I was still wrong.

Romulus sat down on the couch and watched the two of them. He assumed by the looks of things that there wouldn't be a fight. He did however wonder whether or not he should leave the room.

The Blackheart looked upon Pen. "Ah, lass, don't give it a second thought, you where simply sticking to protocol. Try Canadian next time, it never fails." The blackheart said as he patted pen on the shoulder.
