Yoru seemed a bit confused as to why Nathan was acting the way he did, but so long as Nathan was happy, nothing else mattered. "Let me take a quick shower and then we can start. I will try not to take long."

"I would have been with you sooner if I would have known who you were." Yoru replied as he left to go take a shower. It took him a few minutes to do that and get dressed. Once he was done, he went to join Nathan.

The Angel turned to Yoru when he got back. "I wouldn't have been the same if you'd found me earlier. I think I'm like this only because I've had time. I don't know how I would have reacted then... but for now - shall we go make breakfast? You'll need to show me around your kitchen."

Yoru nodded and then walked to the kitchen with Nathan. The kitchen was one of the biggest rooms in the house. It was decorated in a sort of modern style with everything being mainly chrome and black. "I pretty much have anything you could possibly want or need here. What would you like to make?"

Scratching his head, Nathan yawned a little. "I have no idea what I want - why don't you choose and we'll - oh! How about an omlette with vegetables and bacon?" He grinned. "Ever tried it?"

"With a bottle of hot sauce poured over the whole thing, yes. I doubt you would enjoy eating it the way I do mine but if that is what you want we can make that. I will be sure not to add anything to yours that I naturally take on mine."

"All my knives are in that drawer over there," Yoru said pointing to the drawer behind him. "Be careful. Some of them are really sharp. I end up cutting myself all the time."

Nathan got the knife, then shook his head and put it back. "I need the veg and the cutting board first... if you want to scramble the eggs?" he suggested, smiling as he went to the fridge. He offered the egg box to Yoru. "Cooking should always be fun - and if you get cut by the knives again, then please tell me so I can bandage it."

"Alright." Yoru took the eggs and got right to work. Yoru had a tendency to do things quickly so he was done in seconds.

Nathan stared at him, noticing how swiftly he was going. "You sure I won't be in the way if I help?" he teased, starting on the vegetables much slower and finishing a few minutes later. He hadn't noticed, but a small cut was bleeding on the side of his palm - his hand was cold from the water he'd used to wash the veg.

When Yoru turned to look at Nathan, he noticed the cut and immediately became concerned. He grabbed Nathan's hand without a warning and gently licked the blood off. He kept Nathan's hand pressed to his lips once the bleeding had stopped a little, he left and came back with a bandage for him. He put it over the cut which had stopped bleeding. "I warned you. You need to be careful."

Nathan blushed, confused at first - why was Yoru kissing his hand? But then he noticed the red stain in the lines of his palm and immediately apologised. "I didn't... sorry to make you worry. Thank you for patching me up - I promise to be more careful, so don't always worry."
He pecked Yoru's cheek with a smile. "But let's just be glad the blood didn't get on the anything - a bloody omlette doesn't appeal, right?"
