Ah. So you have everything. If you want an early advantage, hit up the Operation Anchorage content. Whole bunch of nice goodies, some power power with the best defense rating in game and which never loses condition, AND power armor training.

I wouldn't. The simulation you have to do to finish that quest is annoying enough on standard difficulty.

I've seen ONE deathclaw in my game carreer. Blew it's head in with a few tin cans... no I think it was pool balls.

Ah, the garbage gun. Insert necessary infinite ammo cheat here. I prefer the flamer. Best way to get rid of those pesky mirelurks. Besides landmines.

You won't love these things. Just about the only way to do any decent damage to them without the flamer or explosives is to shoot their faces. Which they like to hide when they are about to attack.
