Hope pulled at the chains, trying to see if she could break loose.

Hope would have felt a sharp shock through the chain as she struggled. It wouldn't be enough to make her pass out, though she might scream.
Kisa felt Shane tackle her and she tried to stab his shoulder.
Shane dodged, but Kisa used her magic to knock him away. "You aren't giving it your all, weakling," she taunted, standing.

Hope grunted a bit and stilled. She watched Shane pitifully. She wanted to help him.

Kisa seemed to sense this desire in Hope. "You want to help him, so help me motivate him," she said and used some magic to send a powerful current through Hope.
Shane stood again and leapt at Kisa again, who grabbed his arm and kicked him hard before trying to force him to the ground.

Hope cried out and the ground under Kisa's feet began to shift.

Kisa laughed as Hope cried out.
Shane looked furious and attacked her again. "Leave her out of it!"
Then Kisa felt the ground shifting. She used more magic on Hope, not just to make Shane angry, but to punish her for disobeying. "I told you to stay out of it!" she cried.
Shane got his hands around Kisa's ribcage and tried to force her down.

Hope cried again and rock spires jutted up from the ground.
Faith slowly woke up. "Where's Hope?" she asked and got up. She wlaked out of the house, looking for her sister.

Kisa didn't really care about the rocks. "This is a fight for the leadership of my coven," she cried to Hope. "So now that you've interfered, when Shane loses, I'll take pleasure in tearing you to bits!" She formed a barrier around Hope that would try to seal her magic. She twisted a bit, making Shane blush and release her. "Modest as ever, brother," she said. She drew her dagger and came at him.
Shane was distracted by Hope's struggles and cries, so Kisa was able to cut into his arm and then came back around to pin him and try to force him to yield.

Hope cried as the magic continued to hurt her.
Faith heard the crying from the distance and ran towards where she heard it. She gritted her teeth when she saw what was happening and the wind began to pick up. It quickly became violent, blowing everything around.

"Faith, go, now!" Shane cried. "Release Hope and don't hurt Faith!" he begged Kisa.
"Yield and I swear I will," Kisa replied.
"...I yield," Shane said after a moment.
Kisa released him and he fell to his knees. She withdrew the barrier and stopped the magic flow to Hope, then walked to the younger girl. "You've suffered enough, little one," she said, almost kindly. "I warned you."

"Stay away from her!" Faith cried and large branches ripped off from the tree holding Hope and were driven directly to Kisa.

Kisa put up a barrier just in time to block the branches, but she gritted her teeth in pain as the barrier sent shocks through to her. She reached up and undid the chain around Hope's wrists, then gently took the girl's wrists and tried to heal them, her neck, and any other injuries.

"I said don't touch her!" Faith exclaimed and ran at the barrier. She punched it repeatedly, with a lot more force then she seemed capable of mustering.

Kisa cried out in pain and then released the barrier, stepping away from Hope.
Shane whimpered in pain and curled up on the ground. He clutched at his wound.

Faith ran forward and tried to punch Kisa across the face. "How dare you hurt her!" she cried.
Hope weakly pushed herself and watched.
