I wasn't lost... but that's beside the point!

You see Maxiamous? It's not that simple. For it's preventing me from reaching my goal... it's not physically in my way. Like you said, if that was the case we could walk around it. No! It's in my way because it still has found a way to prevent me from reaching my current goal.

Now it was Festus' turn to display the tree. She did this by streching out her arm and moving it in a vertical line. Up and down the tree.

"Your sword seems familiar some how kid" he yelled and then he became one with sword, his heat was it's heat. Finally he started gathering up the near by heat into his sword.

Ryugi pulled in more energy as he looked down at his enemy. Ragnarok moved up to his shoulder as he waited to see what was going to happen. (4)

Ryugi continued to stand there as well, his breath forming a small cloud as he exhaled with the temperature drop. Cold wasn't a big deal for Ryugi, and he'd been in far colder places than this before. He had to wonder what his opponent was doing though, simply standing there. Obviously he was gathering heat for some reason, but Ryugi wondered if there was more to it than that... (5)

Ira must have been sensing Ryugi's body heat, because Ryugi's energy gave off no external heat whatsoever, unless Ryugi allowed it to, which, since this man was using heat for energy, Ryugi was not going to do. He just kept gathering energy for his own use until he decided enough was enough.



Ragnarok snapped foreward and a ball of white light energy grew on the blade's tip as Ryugi jumped off the platform he was standing on, and in midair pointed his sword directly at his opponent!



A single turn of charge was shot from the tip of Ryugi's blade in the form of a solid white, and glowing ball of energy as Ryugi was moving over his opponent! Ira would probably try and block the attack, as it moved towards him at nearly thirty feet per second. Probably much faster than 15 mph...(5)

Unfortunately Ira didn't learn his lesson the LAST time he tried to hit Ryugi with a flaming blast of energy. All the energy that Akira had fired at Ryugi, all the heated energy Ira had saved up and stored for his mighty attack, was absorbed right into Ragnarok, and added to Ryugi's arsenal. (9)

Ryugi's attack hit its mark as Ira hadn't been the target, but the platform he'd been standing on. The platform shattered as the blast of energy drilled into it and exploded, bits of the object scattering everywhere as large chunks began to fall towards the ground far far below.

Ira was lucky he had wings, because if he didn't, he'd be falling just like the rubble of the platform. However, he'd made an error that aided Ryugi in escaping. As he brought his sword down, Ryugi had moved Ragnarok into a blocking position since he'd just absorbed all the energy Ira had tossed at him. Ira's blade slammed into Ragnarok harmlessly, and the force from the blow on the airborne Ryugi sent him flying down towards the chunks of platform.

Ryugi sped away from Ira due to the force of the hit, only to land on one of the larger pieces of falling debris. Ryugi fell towards the ground while crouched on the piece of rubble, and looked up with a satisfied grin towards Ira as a dark red aura of power began to flow around his body...

"Stop with the childs play and grow up kid. I didn't live thousands of years to fight some brat." Ira yelled at Ryugi and then started aborbing all of the light in the void.

Ira just continued to absorb the light. Soon all heat and light in the void would be converted for his own use, and he wouldn't let any of it get into the Ragnorok.
