Breakfast passed without incident and by ten Aidan was finishing the dishes with a bit of help from some of the older orphans he looked after. As they got older they had started helping him out more, which he appreciated a lot, even though he would never admit he did need the help. He didn't have to make all the meals anymore, only breakfast, he also didn't have to help with the ranchers and breeders anymore. Instead of all of that he was helping the newly appointed Officer Jenny, the recent gang action had made it so that one needed to be stationed here. Even if it was a small town the two of them were very busy. They were also the only permanent pokemon trainers in town who were not going to steal from you.

He had long since pulled his long white sleeves down to cover his arms and his pea coat was hanging off of his left arm, he had a bag containing some breakfast for Officer Jenny. As he walked through the town. On his belt near the small of his back his two pokeballs rested comfortably, he would probably need them later but right now he was content to leave them inside of the balls. Finishing the walk from the pokemon center to the small police station in town Aidan knocked smartly on the door and waited for Officer Jenny to open it.

True to form Jenny opened the door with only a short amount of waiting time for the smartly dressed blond. "Aidan, you know you don't have to knock on the door, you are welcome to come in here at any time." She smiled at him as she let him into the room. The office was small, the real station was under construction so this was only a temporary station.

"Knocking is the polite thing to do if you want in a place of business." Aidan commented as he set his jacket down on the back of a chair. "I also brought you some breakfast since I did not see you this morning." His voice was calm as he explained his thinking to Officer Jenny.

Jenny just chuckled and smiled up at him kindly as she took the bag and took out a still warm bagel. "You made bagels this morning?" She asked as she took a bite of it.

"I did, I figured I would make them to celebrate our last day of solitude." He smiled slightly. He didn't make the bagels all that often since it was very time consuming. Still he was happy that everyone seemed to like them, though he didn't really show that. "So is there anything that you need me to do today?"

"Well first we have training drills, after that though I want to see if we can find a sort of lead on where the Wild Boy's are staying right now."

"Is that what they are calling themselves now?" Aidan asked with mild interest. Even thinking about them caused his body to ache in remembered pain.

Dakra nodded. "Yeah, that would be nice...don't know whats got into him..." With that they began to search for the curious fire pokemon.
Sherlock was scared. Why he was always running off without his trainer. Now he was cornered by some strange men. Suddenly, he was grabbed by the men and put in a bag. In a last desprate attemped, Sherlock screamed.
Dakra heard a scream.
"That must be Sherlock. Quick, this way!" They ran toward the sound.

"Fine by me," replied the girl, lifting her arms up into the air and stretching. As she did, Sasha pushed her chest out just a little bit, smiling when it attracted some attention. It was always nice to be reminded of how young and pretty she was. "I can make due by myself. Just don't take too long." She waved her off, took out a brush, and began running it through her hair. It was tough work keeping hair like this, especially when it was dyed. She sat down on a nearby bench, enjoying a rather calm summer breeze. It was such a nice day out.

Prickles, as usual, kept by her side. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary, so the Cacturne relaxed, slumping down on the bench next to his trainer.

"Yeah not a very creative name but it is pretty catchy. I think they may stay with this one." Jenny continued as she finished off her breakfast. "You really are a wonderful cook. Anyway if we can find out where they are we might be able to catch them."

"That would be very helpful. It would not be good to have them causing a ruckus when all the new trainers come to Sinnoh." Aidan added as he picked his heavy jacket up again. If they had to do drills then it would be best to get them done with, a lot of things needed to be done before everyone arrived in Sinnoh. Still they were such a small part of the region it probably wouldn't matter, they didn't even have gym so he doubted a lot of people would be stopping by. If the problem wasn't taken care of the newly renamed Wild Boys would probably branch out and start attacking the new comers.

Officer Jenny nodded and picked up her hat as she got up and made her way to the back door. Opening it and stepping out she patted the Growlith that was sitting at attention at the door. The fire puppy pokemon got up from where it had been sitting and trotted after her.

Shrugging his coat on Aidan followed her outside shutting the door behind him. The back part of the small station was a quite spacious clearing that was very well groomed. Going to stand with Jenny on the far side of the lawn Aidan pulled his own two pokeballs out. Pressing the button on both of them his two companions appeared in a flash in front of him and next to Officer Jenny's Growlith. "Good morning you two. We have drills before we get to work in town." His two pokemon looked up at him nodding, they knew what was required of them, plus drills were good for training with no battling.

"All right, we will be starting off with a five minute run. Remember don't go all out, just go as far as you are willing to go. The idea is to build up stamina so that you won't get as tired in a battle." Officer Jenny explained to the three pokemon in front of her. All three of them nodded in understanding and moved so they were in a sort of line. Seeing that they were ready Officer Jenny pulled out her whistle and gave a short sharp blow of it signaling that they should start.

After watching the battle for a couple more minutes, Train finally got bored and, seeing that Pikachu was no longer talking to the Raichu, seeing as how it had gotten sent into battle, she picked up the small Pokemon and said, "Come on, let's go find something to do."

Pikachu was a bit reluctant, but since he no longer had Raichu to talk to, there wasn't much reason for him to stay, either. Train continued holding onto her Pokemon, a little afraid that if she put the little electric-mouse on the ground, he would get lost with there being so many people around. She was sure it would happen, too--there were so many people on the beach that she could hardly take a few steps without accidently bumping into someone.

The teenager spaced off a bit thinking about how strong all the Pokemon she'd seem so far had been, which quickly proved to be a mistake--she ended up stumbling over some girl's beach towel, causing it to wrinkle up and knocking a bunch of sand all over the edges.
"Ah--crap!" Train hissed under her breath, then looked at the brown-haired girl that was sitting on the towel. "Sorry," She said rather embarrassedly.

"Okay," Kurine said, and followed Dakra, pushing aside the tall stalks off grass and hoping to catch sight of the other trainer's fire-type, while her own Cyndaquil sniffed around, trying to pick up the scent of Sherlock. Both trainer and Pokemon looked up when they heard a cry. Dakra was immediatly running off in the direction of the cry, and Kurine was right behind him, hoping that the little Pokemon was all right.

M.A. was just trying to figure out how to make herself comfortable -- gee, laying out in the sun in nothing but her bandeau two piece seemed a little uncomfortable for her, like she was being too exposed, not that she really had much to expose on her plank-like body -- when her thoughts were interrupted by a little splash of sand, figuratively speaking. "Oh?" she blinked dazedly, looking at the girl who had just appeared. "Oh no, it's no problem," she said with a slight smile, shrugging before getting up. She picked up her towel, shaking it a little to rid it of its unwelcome little rock guests, then thought about laying it back out. Nah. Now that she was standing up, sitting back down seemed like too much of a hassle -- that was her unconscious reasoning.

"Cute Pikachu," M.A. smiled, tilting her head to the side a little to see the yellow Electric-type a little better. Her smile was partially derived from the memory of one of her favorite kid TV shows, where some guy named after the deposit of some kinda fire carried about a Pikachu very much like this one.

A light-bulb went off in her head a moment later, and although she had never issued a challenge before, she figured there was a first time for everything. "Say, if it's not too much trouble... Would you mind a quick little match with my Phanpy? She needs to burn off some of her brunch," she said, turning her head down for a moment to fumble in her little side bag, pulling out a reduced Pokeball a moment later. One flash of light and Tora appeared, her stomach still bulging in a somewhat ungainly manner, but at least the swelling had subsided enough that she could move around.

"If not, that's okay."
PostPosted: Sat Nov 22, 2008 8:23 pm

Train still felt quite embarrassed at disturbing the girl. "Are you sure? She asked, apologizing again and making sure the girl didn't have anything else on the ground that she might have kicked sand onto by accident. Train looked at the brunette again when she took notice of her Pikachu and smiled. Pikachu did likewise, and let out a happy little, "Pika!" and gave the girl a small wave. Train set the little Pokemon on the ground so that he could go over and introduce himself to the girl. "Yeah, he was my first Pokemon. It hasn't been very long, but I already feel like we're pretty close. Train said added, glancing down at her Pokemon happily.

The teenager blinked when the other girl asked for a battle, and her epression quickly brightened.
"Sure!" She replied. "You up for it, Pikachu?

"Pika-chu!" The Pokemon chirped, which was an obvious 'yes'. Train glanced around, and decided that there was enough room for a battle before stepping back, though she paused and glanced at the girl again. "Oh, my name's Train. What's yours?"

"I won't keep you waiting long." Kirsa gave a nod, then set off for the Pokemon Center. Sasha...there wasn't a word in either of her known languages that could properly describe that girl. It wasn't a bad thing, and Kirsa had a feeling that as long as Sasha was around, nothing would be dull. It wasn't long before the red roof came in to view, and she was stepping in to the Pokemon Center. Oh, there was quite a crowd in here, wasn't there? A girl in black and white who seemed to be distressed over her Pokemon caught her eye, but since someone was already helping her, Kirsa didn't make it a point to butt in. Instead she headed for the restrooms, glad that there were a few stalls free. Ignoring the chatter of two other girls in there she slipped into a free stall, slid the lock in to place, and shrugged off her bag. Finally, getting out of the swimsuit...It wasn't like she planned on going swimming, at least not in the ocean.

Truth be told, Kirsa did not much like the ocean. The beach was fine, yes, but the ocean itself was very deep, very dark, and very full of who-knows-what. Her bathing suit was removed and replaced with her uniform once more, and she made sure to remove Hans' Pokeball from her bag and place it, along with the empty ones, into the pouches on her belt. Her boots were laced up, her elbow and knee pads were adjusted in to place, and she straightened up, brushing some of her hair back. There. Much better. Even if it got a little warm, she could handle it. The military cadet shouldered her bag and stepped out, the heels of her boots clicking against the tile as she exited the restrooms.

There was still a crowd in the waiting room of the Center, and two more people caught her eye, a blonde and a red head. Two of the boys she had met earlier! ....Jaeshan and Keegan? Yes, that seemed right. Kirsa said nothing, however, and instead skirted the crowd to get back to the outside. Weaving in and out of the crowd and taking care not to accidentally tread on any bare feet, she made her way back to where she had left Sasha. It wasn't hard to spot the pink haired girl sitting on the bench with her Cacturne, and Kirsa made her way over to them. "Okay. Shall we?"

Shocker's ears drooped a bit with disappointment when the thugs cooperated, but it passed quickly. After all, she knew it wasn't proper Pokemon etiquette to go around attacking people, even if her trainer ordered it. Either way, the mouse was rather amused at how much she'd scared them. After letting off a few more stray sparks she calmed herself down and scampered up on Kasiya's shoulder. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Train and Pikachu wander away. While she'd wanted to spend more time with her fellow electric mouse, she knew that today was far from over and she knew they would meet up again.

Kasiya, meanwhile, glared at the trio as they returned the Pokeball to Crenu. Now she didn't know whom the Tauros belonged to, but she had to admit that she admired the fact that this guy, as cold and uncaring as he seemed to be, was willing to chase them down to bring it back. Kasiya knelt down, which was a little awkward to do with the Raichu sitting on her back, and patted Levi on the head. "You're the bomb, Levi! But you already know that." She smiled as she recalled the Marshtomp and set the Pokeball back on her belt. As the tall blonde began to walk away she decided to follow after him, knowing that he probably wouldn't have much to say on the matter, but figured it was worth a shot. "It wasn't meddling, you know," she told him, smiling when she caught the sincerity in his voice. "It's called helping, and you're welcome. By the way, my name is Kasiya," she added, feeling a familiar rumbling in her stomach. It occurred to her then that she hadn't eaten a thing yet that day, and she was absolutely starving.

Mai and Leo had continued to make their way down the beach, stopping only when they saw a rare or valuable Pokemon. Truth be told, this didn't happen often, as the majority of the Pokemon they saw were as common as the sand they were treading upon. There were, however, a few jewels in among all the junk. Most of the children they were targeting did have one or two, namely that tall blonde kid that Kasiya seemed to know really well. His arsenal included both a Shelgon and a Metang, the latter of which was also shiny, and Mai knew that Giovanni would take particular interest in any Pokemon with the shiny aspect. This included the idiotic Crobat that belonged to Kasiya, although she did not currently have it with her. Mai had opted to leave her sister's Pokemon out of the equation, stating that they weren't worth it, but Leo had argued against her, pointing out that she did have her Larvitar with her, and they were fairly rare. Obviously there was also Kilik's shiny Scizor, the reclamation of which would be considered a victory if nothing else.

Keegan waited patiently in line for his turn, absently stroking Helios' soft fur and trying to pretend like he was the only one in Pokemon Center. It seemed to be working well enough to calm him down, at least until the nurse nodded for him to approach next. Wordlessly he recalled the Vulpix into his Pokeball and handed it along with Artemis' to the nurse, ignoring the sugar-sweet smile she had on her face. "It won't be long," she said cheerfully, which did nothing to lighten his sour mood and he simply nodded stoically in reply before moving off to the side.

A commotion in the front of the Pokemon Center caught his attention then and when he looked over, he was a bit surprised to see Riza kneeling on the ground, a woman who looked suspiciously not like a Pokemon nurse tending to her Sneasel. When the nurse gave him back his two Pokemon, he released Helios again and clipped the Swellow's sphere back into its place. Without waiting for Jaeshan he turned to leave the center, but he couldn't help but stop and look down at the dark-haired girl. "Uh... anything I can do?" he asked a bit uncertainly. "You don't look so good."
PostPosted: Sun Nov 23, 2008 9:19 am

Riza looked up at the woman as she came over to her, sniffling a bit. "I don't know, it happened so fast. Half a minute maybe? I don't know, I'm sorry," she pushed the messy hair from her face and shook her head. When the stretcher was brought over she carefully put Sneasel down on it. If she didn't know any better she'd swear that Sneasel was just sleeping.

"You don't look like a Pokemon doctor," Riza said accusingly, although she said it somewhat to herself. Doctor or not though, she seemed to know a lot more about what to do than Riza did, so she stepped back out of the way to let them take care of sneasel. She saw a few people from earlier in the Pokemon center but she didn't want to bother them. That is, until she saw Keegan come over to her, and she stood up to look at him. She didn't really know how to respond, although she did growl audibly at the last comment. "Well if your Pokemon was drowning and you rushed out to save it you probably wouldn't look so good yourself," she snapped.

M.A. waved off Train's second round of apologies with an absent-minded hand and a slight head-shake; she obviously wasn't very upset over the matter, and didn't believe the girl ought to be either. The beach was the beach, and it wasn't like sand was totally unexpected. "I haven't been out in this training business too long either, but it's been pretty nice; don'tcha think?"

"And call me M.A.," she answered with a smile, her voice mellow as usual. "Pleasure to meetcha."

Tora, meanwhile, placed herself in front of M.A., eager for battle as usual, even if her stomach insisted that sleep was far more comfortable than moving around. Ah well, she hadn't fought for so long, she didn't dare complain about it. And so, the little (or not so little) Phanpy cast her eyes hungrily on Pikachu with a lopsided grin; "let's have some fun!" seemed to be her message, unspoken as it was. Hopefully this one wasn't a pushover; battling those was no fun.

Meanwhile, Ulani was already bored with the prospect of watching Tora go at it (again), and so fluttered away to find a source of entertainment for the time being, not before nuzzling M.A.'s cheek to announce her departure. Her trainer had patted her head fondly, not raising any objections to the Swablu's wanderings -- "just don't go too far, or land on scary-looking people," she said. Out of all her Pokemon, Ulani was the least likely to cause a ruckus, though she did have a penchant for stealing the occasional jewelry... Ah well, before M.A. could consider it, the bird was off, floating idly in the sky above everyone's heads.

Back to the present. "Would you like to start?" she asked, her muted smile still stretching her lips just so.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:08 am

"I'm not a Pokemon Doctor," the woman replied to Riza's comment, her tone of voice calm and gentle, "but I do have a significant amount of training in the field of Pokemon medicine. "Your Sneasel will probably be fine, although she does have a slight fever. I'm guessing she's exhausted. Have you guys been very busy today?" she asked, having seen this kind of thing quite often in Pokemon. More often than not, neither trainer nor Pokemon were aware of it, either. "A good rest and she should be back to normal." She set her bag, which was actually more like an over-sized purse, on the stretcher next to the Pokemon and took out a vial of greenish-looking medicine. "This should help her sleep," she added after a moment or two. "But, if you don't trust me, then that's fine as well." She held the small vial out towards the girl, scanning the redhead for a moment before smiling again. "Plus, while she's resting you can get cleaned up too."
=-=-=-=-=

Jaeshan frowned as Keegan walked away from him, but he decided that getting his Pokemon treated was more important than Keegan and his cynicism. After recalling Shelgon he put her Pokeball back on his belt and handed them to the nurse, thanking her in advance. He glanced over at Keegan again and noticed that he was talking to someone. On closer inspection he recognized her from earlier, although to be honest he couldn't remember her name. She'd been a little on the bitter side as well, and as he turned his back on them he decided that misery deserved company, and those two seemed to be alike in many ways. No really, what does Kasiya see in that guy anyway? he asked himself again as Butterfree, Shelgon and Combusken's Pokeballs were each returned to him.

He sighed and decided to leave the Pokemon Center and gloomy Keegan behind. After all, hanging out with the redhead wasn't doing anything but bringing his own good mood down, and today was meant to be a day for fun.

Crenu had recalled his pokemon as well, except for Ariados who for the moment seemed content scurrying next to him in the sand. She jealously eyes the blond girl who was getting closer to Crenu and hissed a little. She wanted nothing more than to establish Crenu as her territory, but the days of sitting on his head as a Spinarak were long gone, that and he probably wouldn't appreciate it. Crenu shot Ariados a glance that stopped her hissing before turning his attention to Kasiya. "Name's Crenu. Though I didn't ask for it, your assistance was still instrumental in attaining victory over those clowns. In getting back this Taurose I've repaid one debt, but it seemed I acquired a new one." The rumbling of Kasiya's stomach reminded him of the old man's takoyaki and how Crenu told him to have another plate ready for him when he got back. "Ever had takoyaki?" He said to her as the shack came into view. The old man and the little girl were standing outside probably waiting for Crenu's return, and at the first sight of him the little girl ran out into the sand to greet him. Crenu threw the pokeball out in front of him and watched as the baby Taurose took form, nearly knocking the little girl over as she embraced the little bull affectionately.
