Cale arched an eyebrow at her. "Define Remote. Ren Vhar is a remote planet. So's Hoth. I don't recomend either. Honey, you're gonna have to be more specific than just 'remote.'"

Angel pulled out her sabers and looked at them for a brief moment. " Please, let this one stay true to its name... " she said silently, as she threw Salvation towards the Dark Lord. Putting the other away, she sat down, and continued to look on.

Ali'anna narrowed her eyes at Cale. "Alright. How about 'remote, pleasant, and with few sentient inhabitants'?"

Cale shrugegd as he flicked a look back at his instruments. "If theres anything I know about Planet Realty, its that "Pleasant, Remote, and Sparsely Inhabited" worlds are on a waiting list. Every Core world Fop and military organization in the galaxy pays billions of credits for such worlds. And once they settle down they get good at keeping people out. Sparsely populated and Remote I can get you. Pleasant is something else entirely." A sudden though crossed his mind and he glanced back over to Ali'anna. "Ever hear of Stoga?"

Cale nodded. "Not too many people have. Its about as far on the galactic map you can go without falling off. A friend of mine retired there a while back, but space knows where he is now. No one ever goes there except to hide out and get forgotten."

She turned to face him. She smiled genuinely, as moisture gathered at her eyes. "Nothing wrong, Cale. I've simply never been at peace before. I could never even dream of peace before. Now I can imagine it, and it's wonderful." She looked out of the viewport.
"...Will you come with me, Cale?"

Mordranna went in with Squire's two B-wings, each launching a torpedo at a Victory class destroyer's shield module, which buckled and exploded under the strain. "There's another shield down,"
"Good shooting, Squires," Wedge approvingly chimed in. "Hey General .. there seems to be one that doesn't seem to be doing anything. Take it out?"
Mordranna reached out through the Force. I sense Neb and the others aboard. Seems almost deserted ... She then commed Wedge back. "No. Leave it,"

Cale blinked again. He looked out at the hyper tunnel surrounding the Runner and puzzeld out his reply.
He flicked a glance back again to her. "You want me to come with you?"

She nodded, turning to face him with hopeful, almost childlike eyes. "Niether of us has anything to live for. Why throw your life into danger and chaos? We could leave this galaxy of war and death and live quietly." Her eyes flickered to the streaks of blue and white stars. "I don't think I could do it alone."

Cale stared out at the starlines streaking by and chewed on the request a bit more. Silence reigned in the bridge for a few minutes until Cale drew in a breath and sighed.
"Sorry, Blue. I can't do that." He turned to face her, a wistful look in his green eyes. "I Can't find peace until the stars stop calling to me. Until I find what they want me to find. Everytime Ive tried to settle down, something gets me to move again. As though the universe doesn't want me to rest."
He gave a sad smile. "I'm a cursed man, Blue. Cursed to sail the sea of stars until I find what it is that the galaxy wants of me."
He looked back at the ship's viewport and gazed at the rushing starlines. "Thats what I have to live for. There are many times I should have died Blue. an Outlaw's life is never a peaceful one. Yet time after time I've survived by the skin of my teeth with no good reason to have possibly made it through. I have to keep living. Until I find my fate the galaxy won't leave me alone and the Stars will keep calling my name.
You, Blue, you have a chance to find your peace. You deserve it. Thats what you have to live for. You need to live so you can finally have that peaceful life you dream about. But you don't need me for it. You're stronger than that. I know it."

Ali'anna smiled and sunk into her seat. "How can you know me? Perhaps you know my 'type.'" Her eyes still moistening, she glanced over at the outlaw. "Ever the romantic? I suppose there's a certain charm in that. I suspect this may just be a monologue to avoid settling down with any one woman, but that's all right. You've been kind enough so far to merit that." Her smile was broad, but sad at the edges. She quickly looked back into the dimension of hyperspace, taking a quick breath. Her gaze fell into her own lap, and her eyes focused inward. Under her breath, she muttered, "I only hope you're right, that I'm strong enough. So far strength has left me wherever I turn."
