"Of course, please take care of our baby?" Liz said, her voice slightly horrified at the idea of her child "feeding".
Leo moved towards the couch and curled up in a protective fetal position, holding Roo tight. He watched Randal talk, not realizing that he was still on the phone with Leo's parents.

"Yes my dear. Goodbye." he said and hit the off button without saying anything else. "Leo? Little one, do not be sad." Randy said and moved over to him, lightly strokeing the boys hair. "Are you hungry still?" he asked.

Leo looked up. "N-no" he responded, meaning it this time, despite the slight glow still left in his eyes. He didn't want to be a burden, and Randy obviously was still upset. He hugged Roo and pulled away from Randal curling up even tighter.

Randal sighed and shifted, sitting on the ground tiredly. "I am going to tell you a secret love, and maybe you shall understand why I do not like being fed off of in the way you just did." he said slowly

Leo sat up slightly, his eyes showing his interest. "I can keep a secret." He whispered, holding Roo alittle tighter.

Randal shifted to look back at Leo. "Promise?" he asked secritivly, knowing it was part of the 'game.'

Leo's eyes widened, he had thought he was the only one, like most children do. "Like me?" He questioned, rubbing his eye. He hadn't liked the way the man had treated him, he didn't want Randal to be hurt too.

"Yes, my master, that is what he was called, had me for many months and he bit me like yours bit you. He was not nice little one and the way you feel when I move to quickly or come to close is the way I feel when people touch me here." Randal said and touched his throat.

Leo rubbed a hand over his own throat, where the wound from his master was healing. "D-did your daddy save you?" He questioned.

Randal looked away from Leo and sighed. "No, my father did not." he said, not telling Leo that his father had imprisoned him, he did not need to know that.

"Oh," Leo responded, trying to be comforting, thuogh he didn't really know how, when he didn't know the person to well. Hugging always seemed to work, but he felt afraid to hug him.

Randal smiled. "And now you know my secret." he said and ducked his head for a moment, his long hair was messy, the ribbon that normally held it in check haveing fallen loose. "Now little one do you think you can continue feeding from my wrist alone?"

Leo nodded. "I didn't mean too, I-I just wanted to-to eat." He responded, feeling suddenly shy, he ducked his head down, twisting his hands together. "I-I'm sorry, it's just that..." He stopped talking and started rubbing at his mouth, his gums and teeth were aching painfully as his canines started to elongated at the talk of blood.
