Hidden Flame Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ As they boys faught one another, Kikyo attempted getting Kanshin to let go of her. She really was not in the mood to be hugged and messed with at the moment, and she felt it was very important that both Kanshin and Kekkaishi get prepared for the Chuunins rather than screw around here in Hidden Flame. When Kekkaishi and Joachim finished their fight and began man hugging one another, Kikyo grabbed Kanshin, flipped her over her shoulder, and slammed the younger girl to the floor before panting lightly-- Kanshin had a tight grip on Kikyo the enttire time, making breathing difficult. She then looked up to Kekkaishi and Kanshin with a serious expression. "You two need to be more concerned with preparing for the Chuunins instead of who's better than who or what just happened today. Tomorrow is going to be huge! It'll determine a lot about how people will treat you from now on and will allow you to move on in learning the techniques needed to survive against all these stronger opponents! Talking it out with Santa might have worked, but it didn't help when Heaven was invaded by a different village or when Cloud got flattened to the ground. We need to get serious. There's no point in being a kage when there's nothing to rule over since some one else has destroyed it!" Kanshin pouted lightly up to Kikyo. She was being pretty harsh with what she was saying, but she did have a point. Sure, one could easily retake the exams-- Kekkaishi had-- but it would be better if the three of them were all to the Chuunin level... At least then they might earn more respect from the other shinobi of the world and some one would be willing to help them rebuild their smally populated villages be rebuilt. "But Kikyo-sempai, I'm pretty sure I gained all the experience I'm allowed to. I at least learned some now techniques from Hidden Flame before we had to go face Santa..." She lightly gripped the Santa hat. As silly as it may seem, she was actually planning to keep it as a reminder of how nice it had been to have peace and to remind her to do the right thing so that, if the world did fall to the state Santa said his world fell to, that she had done everything in her power not to let things come to that.

Hidden Aviation
His skin Began to return to its natural tone as he made it to hidden aviation.Kekaishi wondered just what Kikyo would say to him once she discovered that he had somehow become a chunning. A Yawn escape his lips, the people of Aviation where definitely strange people he saw that many of them had feathers growing out of there arms. Kekaishi looked up at the sky. he wanted to be with kikyo again he missed her so much, even if she had gotten a scar across her beautiful face. he hoped that he would be able to locate her soon for he did not know how long till he was sent on a strange mission. he did not trust the peope in charge of heaven

Hidden Aviation Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kanshin continued to cry heavily as she rode on her sempai's back. She had worked so hard for the exams just to end up losing because she was up against a robot. It was completely unfair that the judges had not even considered the difficult task of fighting something not affect by anything while using an element that could destroy everything. Because of her failure, she was now stuck, unable to learn any new techniques. She had really wanted to learn some more elements to help her appreciate the fires and heat a little more. That would have to wait until next year- assuming she passed that time. Kikyo listened as Kanshin sobbed some more. She had been sobbing ever since the first part of the exam. She didn't understand why she had failed. The girl left without a single scratch on her. She was complaining her head hurt earlier, but it was only because she gave herself some minor dehydration. The young Soshi sighed as Kanshin continued to cry. She knew the real reason the girl was so traumatized. It was more to do with Hido than actually failing the exams. Poor Kanshin was having a rough year between her vision slowly getting worse and the fact she was accepting the highly likely fact that Hido could be dead and most likely was. When Kikyo had told Kanshin that Hido had not come to see how she did, that was when all the sobbing began. Perhaps the stress of the year so far just got to be too much when it dawned on her she had failed. Now Kikyo was stuck with the task of cheering up Kanshin while training to become Jounin. "Hey, Kanshin, I know you're upset and all, but do you think you could turn down the tears a little bit? Hey! I got an idea! Tell me about that guy you met at the exams. The one you faught against. What was it, Hiki?" Kanshin tried calming down some and sniffled before she sniffled lightly. "His name is Hikai. He controlls fire, too, but he is not an Enkou. He's an Uchiha." Kanshin knew what Kikyo was trying to do. Kikyo never liked Hido, so the fact there was a fire-manipulating Uchiha that had refused to harm Kanshin was something that older girl had said was a "trustworthy and agreeable trait." In other words, Kikyo was trying to nudge Kanshin into liking Hikai and get her to get over Hido. There was just no use in try. All Kanshin could think was about how much she missed Hido, even if Hikai was handsome, mysterious, and loved flames as much as Kanshin did. Kikyo landed in the village and looked around, noting the respectful looks she recieved from some of the villagers. She noted the feathers and talons on some of them and quickly decided they liked her because she could walk on the wind, just like how some of these guys could probably fly. She sat Kanshin down and her skin began to go from super pale back to her normal coloring. "Kekkaishi said he wanted us to meet him some where in this part of the Federation Country. Saaay~! What if we invited Hikai to keep you company while Kekkaishi and I look at some of the techniques. After all, even if he can't train any farther since he's a genin, too, he's better at picking out good jutsus to learn." Kanshin stepped carefully to the ground and looked to Kikyo when her friend began to speak to her. She blushed lightly at Kikyo sugguesting she spend some time with Hikai. She shook her head and looked down. "I don't know him too well. Besides, he probably has better things to do than to hang out in Hidden Aviation. Thank you though, Kikyo-sempai..." Kikyo rubbed the back of her neck and sighed before she turned her head from Kanshin. The girl really was bummed out about the exam... Maybe there were other things on her mind that she couldn't figure out. Kekkaishi was better with people. She'd let him deal with it.

Hidden Avation
Kekkaishi Stood up and yawned. he had slept all morning and know it was night time. he did not need to or cared to looked up at the stars, perfering to stretch his vectors for as long as he could Before he yawned once again. without kikyo at his side this had become his morning retinue, he was trying to come up with a way to use his vectors to sense things around him, but it was becoming hard, what with the massive amount of chackra he would need to keep his vectors always working. Speaking of kikyo he could swear he felt her near by. The new chunnin of hidden heaven had lots on his mind, he knew kikyo was supposed to be ariving son at the village and that he would have to train with her, they where chunnings know.. not that she knew, unless of course she checked the updated bingo book in heaven, and from what he remembered kikyo was a long cry from coming back to hidden heaven, or Asgard or whatever people decided to call it. He took a walk out in the crisp clean air of hidden aviation. he thought fully of all he had learned and all that he would learn. then he heard chater that a woman with a scar had been walkign on air a fe minutes before. The young Soshi smiled, hsi smile that of a man who had found hi lost love. his skin turned pale as he put air in his fet to travel quickly, to travel towards where he could sense the vectors comming from. yes there she was his heart began to skip vbeats as he slowed down enough to seem to appear in front of them, a big smile on his face. "Kanshin hi glad to see you, did you pass?" he embraced kikyo as he spoke to kanshin he let his hands wonder til he grabed her but once and jumped away with a smile waiting for her reaction

As soon as he asked how she did, her lower lip began trembling heavy before she burst into tears once again. "I FAILED IT MISERABLY!!! I COULDN'T EVEN GET PAST THE FIRST PART, AND ALL THAT WAS WAS FIGHTING!!!" Kikyo smiled when she saw Kekkaishi and wrapped one arm around his shoulder, but as soon as Kanshin began to cry, the smile turned to a scowl and she put him in a head lock as she began hissing out why he ws in trouble. "Damn you. I just got her to quite crying about failing the exams, and now she's at it again. Couldn't you tell just by looking at her something was wrong? Make her stop or I'll strangle you as pay back." She loved Kekkaishi, but she had thought he would have been the one to know things like how to handle situations like this better than her. Kanshin was overly sensitive at the moment, so having him talk to her was probably a better idea than Kikyo doing it since she was getting annoyed at this point. "Offer to take her to get red bean soup or something!"

Kekaishi looked at his young fiance, she had a knack for putting him in head locks, or just making him stay still. he smiled as he looked at Kahsin. " hey cheer up. as long as you did your best theres nothing that can b said.. if it makes you feel better i did not pass either. and fighting is one for the most hadest parts of the exams! i was fighting a robot for god sakes, and this one summoned something strange that kept sending wierd data streams to me and my partner. let me tell you if i did nto die before and learned juhtsu sho i belive its called i would have had most of my chackra missing!" he looked at his fiance." hey love mind if i get my neck back? how can i pay for dumplings and red bean soup wihtout a head?"

Hidden Aviation Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kanshin calmed down and sniffled lightly with a deep pout on her face and her eyes still watery. "It was awfully hard fighting against a girl who could use her magic to make herself a robot. I even used my most dangerous and hotest technique on her, and only the very tips of her hair got burned a little...." The moment Kanshin calmed down, Kikyo released her grip on his neck. To his question, she calmly and evenly answered, "I know where you keep your wallet." To prove it, she held up his wallet between her forefinger and middle. When and how she had gotten it was probably a mystery, but not unexpected of her. At least when he got his wallet back he would find all the money was still there. She may take his wallet, but she would never take his cash. That was just how she did things. A small smile appeared on Kanshin's face at the mention of the soup. "Are we really going to get red bean soup? You said I wasn't allowe to have any until after I passed the test..." Kikyo shrugged lightly to the comment of what she had said before. She only really said it to get Kanshin to agree training eagerly with Kikyo. Besides, the girl needed a pick me up from how down she was feeling. One of the few things that seemed to perk her up quickly was that soup. "Yeah, I know what I said, but ******** it. You still did pretty good. I mean, I was all beaten to hell when I passed the exam, but you managed to get through without a single bruise or cut. I say that's a good enough excuse to treat ourselves for a job well done." Kanshin quickly grinned, quickly recovering from the loss and moving on at the thought of getting a treat. She was still bummed about being a genin and not getting to see Hido-kun at all for a long time-- and possibly never again, but maybe she shouldn't dwell too much on that. She fidgeted with the Akatsuki ring on her finger and nodded before she looked to Kekkaishi, obviously asking if he would pay for her. It was only fair. Kikyo was enjoying Kanshin's money more than Kanshin was.

A deep laugh erupted from Kekashi, as he sat down on the ground. " ai kikyo its just like you to take that is it not?... but to answer your question Khanshin yes i will be paying for you and kikyo... she has not told you that i like to pay for things?" It was one of his many weakness and one that was often being used by other girls till Kikyo came along, Kekaishi never asked why but he had a feeling she had claimed him and that no other girl was crazy enough to fight her for her man. He stood up and cleaned himself, taking his wallet back by using one of his vectors. " well lets go find a soup place, i am sure i can get dumplings easily i almost never have trouble getting them to give me what i want. then after our meal is served to us it will be time for us to train.. and Khanshin with you we will practice Strategy. i am sure with enoughstrategy you could have beat that girl, she might have protection against fire, btut he question is where and how to neturalyze such a defense."

Hidden Aviation Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kikyo chuckled lightly as he took his wallet back. This just seemed to be one of the many "games" she played with him. Steal the wallet, peep in the shower, steal the clothes, punch the arm, bite the neck-- all fun little games Kikyo played only with him. If he had minded, he probably would put up more of a fight and tell her to quite, which she would readily do so since she did respect him, even if it was not obvious. When he talked about how much he enjoyed paying for things, it brought back the memories of the first time he began spoiling her. So many of the village girls confronted her and expressed their anger with Kikyo using him for his money. All quickly left her alone when she quickly broke one of the girls' noses and put a knife to another one's throat. That was probably the only reason no one was brave enough to try telling Kekkaishi what a mistake it was to date her of all people. The memory brought a peaceful smile to her face since this was one of those rare times where her violent outburst didn't come back to bite her in the a**. Kanshin smiled sheepishly and shook her head. "All Kikyo-sempai tells me is how empty her own wallet is... But, then again, I kind of doubt she owns a wallet if she has you around, Kekkaishi-kun." Kikyo puffed her cheeks out lightly and looked to Kanshin with he good eye. "I do own a wallet. It's just empty." Kanshin looked over Kikyo's wardrobe and wondered where the older girl could have possibly stored a wallet since her pants had no pockets and her top was skin tight. She doubted Kikyo would put money in her kunai pouch... "Yeah, we should get going. I am pretty hungry now that I think of it." Kikyo heard him talk about training and lifted an eyebrow. Wasn't he still a genin? Maybe he meant he would help her to train by finding techniques and giving advice. She wrapped her arms around one of his and lightly fondled the crystal he wore as a pendant. "I like the sound of getting a bite to eat. Let's go."

hidden heaven "yeah that might be my fult actually" Kekaishi said apologeticaly as he began to take them from where they where." i made it so that no one would take her money. she always tried to pay for everything even when it was plain to see she could not afford it. for one of my birthdays she tried to buy me something so i told her no.. she bought me something that was way to expensive. i still have it it is the nicest thing anyone has given to me.. i could not use it but still it was nice that she thought of that. from then on she never needed money because i was almost always paying for it before she bought it. that and i am much better then her at managing my money in a productive manner." Kekaishi smiled as he remembered those days, being young and having to stay one step ahead of her.it caused him quite a lot of pain in his arms and legs. but oh well what happened happened. the sun was shining brightly on top of them before they reached the establishment where Kekaishi was staying at, as with all the other ones it was a hotel slash restaurant, of simple taste visually but sweet and sour specialties in the kitchen. they where greeted friendly enough and led to a table and given menus. " i think we will take an order of red bean soup for our young friend, some dumplings for the lovely lady with a growl, and for me some t-bone stake smothered in salt with duck sauce and well done." The waiter vowed as he took the orders he looked at the ladies. " is there anything you ladies would like done specifically to your dishes?"

Hidden Aviation Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ Kikyo huffed at him admitting he was the reason people kept telling her they wouldn't take her money back home. It had made her so mad the first time some one refused ot let her pay for something, and she got more annoyed as from one place to another they denied her money. "Wish you had told me that before I had gone grocery shopping that day..." Kanshin looked to Kikyo, some how not able to see her friend doing any sort of domestic chore, especailly grocery shopping. Then again, it might have been bac when her father was still alive... Kanshin had been to Kikyo's house before, though. It was clear she didn't do a good job of actualy huse keeping, which was probably why she would have been the one to run errands. It made Kanshin smile at the thought of Kikyo running random errands as a kid, but did not dare say anything about it. "I would hope you would still have that gift. I worked my a** off to earn the money to pay for it. My money management skills may suck, but at least I earn every bit of what I get. That's something to pride in." She huffed and stuck her nose up. She was being stubborn about the topic of money. As they got to the resturant, Kikyo slid into the booth and yanked Kekkaishi in so he'd sit next to her, even though she knew fully he would have sat with her any ways. Kanshin sat opposite of the pair and folded her hands in her lap as she waited for service. When the waiter asked what she wanted, she grinned widely. "I like spicy food, so I have no objection to the cook adding something to it. If he does though, tell him to make it as spicy as he possibly can." Kikyo nudged Kekkaishi with her elbow at him saying she had a growl. She hadn't growled for a while, so she took slight offense. She looked dully up to the waiter and bluntly stated, "I expect my dumplings to be sweet, otherwise the cook and I are going to have a little chat. Got it?" Kanshin smiled and rubbed the back of her neck while looking to the waiter apologetically for Kikyo since Kikyo bviously wasn't going to apologize for sounding a little rude.

hidden Aviation the waiter looked at Kekaishi." demon Kikyo.. seriously cousin?" he laughed as he went to give there orders in. kekaishi smiled. " that's one of my cousins and i know you make good money by yourself but making money and keeping it are two different things my love. after all what if i was never able to learn to make sweet things with salt...He stopped talking and moving. had he just spilled his secret? it had been a long time but one day he finally learned how to add enough salt to the dumplings to make them sweeter. it was one of the only ways to save money on sugar when it was at its peak and Kikyo did not seem to notice the difference in the dumplings, in fact she seemed to love it even more. he looked at kikyo half expecting her to punch him in the face 152+ 1102= 1254

Hidden Aviation Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou In a profound sense every man has two halves to his being; he is not one person so much as two persons trying to act in unison. ________________________________________ As soon as the waiter's back was turned, Kikyo flipped him off and stuck her tongue out at him before before she gave a huff. "If he's going to use the name, he might as well do it right. Not Demon Kikyo. It's the Demon of Heaven. Jerk. He better be ready for something of his to go missing for that." She promted her arm on the table and held her cheek in her hand as Kekkaishi spoke. She heard him mention sweets and salt and it took a few seconds before it sunk in. Her eyes grew wide and the pupils narrowed as she shot an intense glare at him. Her good eye twitched heavily a few times and her face slowly began turning a deep shade red, making one ready if she was just mad or about to attack him with one of the Soshi techniques. "You. Have. Been. Feeding. Me. Salt. This. ENTTIRE TIME!!! You CHEAP a** RICH b*****d! You practically got all the ******** money in or village, and you can't even bother to pay for the real sugar?! DAMN YOU! I shouldn't expect anything less of you you salt worshiper! I swear that's all yu ever eat is salt! I'm surprised I've never seen you just drink salt straight from the shaker with how much damn sat you eat! So much salt is bad for you, you know! Although, knowing you, you probably carry around salt cubes to suck on! Gah! You jerk! Feeding me that- And not once thinking I would find out tha you have been withdrawing sugar from me! ******** you! I'm never eating your cooking again since I clearly can't ******** trust you! I'll even buy my own damn sugar, and you aren't going to get to have any, so there!" She crossed her arms over her chest and scooted herself closer to the wall as she glared away from him, not even caring about the scene she was causing. Kanshin blushed and tred to hide her face as Kikyo rambled on. Why did it really matter so much that Kekkaishi hadn't used sugar? It still tasted good, and she had never been thisty after eating his cooking. There was no need for sempai to make such a big deal. When Kikyo finally stopped her rant, she glanced up to the two of them. She wasn't sure if Kikyo was being serious or not about the whole never eating Kekkaishi's food again... She doubted she would go through with that threat. Kikyo seemed to loath cooking more and more lately. She would probably go through with buying her own sugar, but if it meat not having to cook, Kikyo would probably throw the bag at Kekkaishi's head and demand he make dumplings. If anything, Kikyo-sempai was probably just sulking about being tricked all this time. Kanshin looked to Kekkaishi and tilted her head. "Do you think you could find out how t do that with chilli powder? Maybe then Kikyo-sempai would be more willing to eat my cookin." She fet something hit her in the bac of the head hard. She whimpered and quickly laid her head on the table and threw her hands over her head as she looked to Kikyo apologetically. "I was only kidding, Sempai! Please don't be mad at me! I'm sorry! I won't joke about that again!"
