Esca blushed, feeling shocked a moment, before closing her eyes. She returned the kiss, a little shyly, and wrapped her arms around him in a loose hug, not quite sure what else to do.

Atari kept their lips together a moment longer before pulling away gently and nuzzling his nose to her cheek, smiling broadly as he shifted to rests his head on the blanket, his emerald eyes watching the pale girl. Thank you for sharing your picnic, Esca. His words came echoed with a soft purr, and his tail wrapped loosely around himself, resting over Esca's knees.

Atari smiled brightly still and pressed a kiss to Esca's cheek again, purring softly, contently, as he snuggled with her on the blanket. We should have picnics lots! he offered, giving her a gentle squeeze. What else can we do on picnics?

Esca giggled. "All kind of stuff! You can eat, of course, or play games with other people, or read, or just hang out. If it's a bigger picnic, there's all kinds of different things to do." She smiled.

Do you want to play a game, Esca? Atari purred, pulling himself up to sit so that he could look down over the girl, pausing to admire her a moment, his eyes wandering down her a moment before snapping back to meet her eyes, a deep blush making it's way to his cheeks.

Atari purred softly as he thought on this, but when he realized every game he could think of worked best with four or more players, his ears lowered and he frowned. Mm..I can't think of fun games that just two people can play, he admitted, shifting to lay back and snuggle the girl.

Esca chuckled and hugged him. "Someday, we can have a really big picnic and play lots of games with people?" She said. "With a barbeque. Those are fun! My mom had one before we moved here. Not many people came, but it was stull fun!"

What's a ... a barbeque, Esca? He lifted his head to look to her curiously. And who all can we bring? Despite only being preliminary planning stages, he was ready to burst with excitement.

"A grill. You know. There's fire on the inside, and you cook hotdogs or hamburgers on it. And...Oh, I don't know. Friends, I guess..." Esca thought a moment, then giggled. "Or family."

Ooooh, with the smoke and the big pieces of meat, too? Atari was vaguely familiar with steak being barbequed, as his grandfather's good friend was rather terribly fond of only half-done barbequed steak. And frisbies?! He didn't like to play frisbie, but he sure loved watching others run around chasing mean plastic plates!

Can it be ranch potatosalad? the boy blushed as he asked this, a curious little glint in his eyes as he watched the girl, near ready to pounce on her from the excitement building with talk of their barbeque picnic.
