Oassu nodded "Good thing the King is so generous too sending supplies over like that" he said helping Cid down from Felina's shoulder seeing him staring intently at the salad Oassu had compiled for him "Still does your son know about his sister's engagement yet? Will have an even bigger reunion at the wedding then" he said.

Zadina tilted his head "Hmm is that so wise? He could be put in danger on his pilgrimage and he is the heir to the throne after all, still if it happens I promise I'll go on as his guardian to ensure he stays smart and safe" he promised glancing around "Speaking of his sisters I've not seen Elithana anywhere in the City or Palace since I arrived, did she not come home for the dragon festival?" he asked somewhat disappointed.

Jeckhart frowned uncomfortably stretching his leg up "This is the basic part?" he asked grimacing as he bounced "I suppose I'm just not used to using my legs as much, nevermind dancing but I can see why you'd want a lot of people to do this dance" he panted hopping to keep up with the others.

Felina groaned "My father is nothing like that. He would just politely decline if he didn't like you or what you were getting at when making a suggestion over something. Still it will be a nice surprise that she's engaged I am sure. Not so sure he will be pleasantly surprised at finding a large group of guests on his doorstep he knows nothing about though. So at least try to get word out giving him notice of our arrival"

Hayate shook his head "Maybe not cut your head off but its not like he would let people get away with murder. Knowing what Alpha gets up to I could picture him getting a flogging when nobody is looking. Just not in front of his daughters"

Alusaadi froze fighting back a shudder "Elithana decided not to stay in Yithra this festival. She went out into the countryside to celebrate the event on her future brother in laws farm. Personally I cannot think of a more bizarre place they could have chosen to celebrate. She knows nothing of farm life or how common people do things. But you wouldn't have to be his guardian, just an extra pair of eyes and ears to hunt out anyone trying to get close to him with ill intent"

"It is good to see you in such an enthusiastic spirit. While guardians can be very good. Respect is far easier to earn when one is willing to lend a helping hand when possible. Also there may be times you are separated which is another reason to be prepared" Elorin optimistically praised Amane giving her ear a pat. "I don't mind Zadina becoming a guardian provided he keeps up with his studies. My wife on the other hand would probably need more convincing"

Hebal giggled slowing down slightly allowing Jeckhart to keep up better "Well its a little bit of both really. Its not so much that we are athletic, just lightweight enough to lift themselves up like that. Gotta practice too or you might mistime the jump and land on someone or throw the whole circle around hehe. It's happened before. But hey look, more potential people to dance with hehe" she smiled waving at Oassu and Felina trying to get their attention.

Alpha chuckled petting Cid's ears once Oassu and Felina had walked off "Heh I think you made him nervous when you mentioned the flogging part. Still I think that went rather well don't you? Could have put up a lot more of a fight though I will at least try and make the trip a little enjoyable" he told Hayate.

Amane frowned "Well I can image that she would be worried about him but perhaps you could help to persuade her sometime if need be? And I'll be sure to take care of him also while on a journey. If all goes to plan, I should be starting to lean some white magic soon in my spare time. Though from what I heard it was from the queen that Felina for her skills from so you couldn't help me with that"

Oassu nodded "Sure we can go join with them, Hebal will just nag at us if we don't and it looks like Jeckhart could use a hand" he said watching them spin again before kissing Felina "Though a nice slow dance to ourselves will still be nice later on" he whispered quietly before they went over to join Hebal.

Zadina nodded blushing slightly "Thank you Auntie that's kind of you to say but perhaps it would have been too overwhelming for them" he said picking up Merric once more who kwehhed gratefully at Alusaadi "He's a lovely little chocobo, everyone says he's cut out for treasure hunting" he said as Merric continued headbutting the shiny clasp on Zadina's cloak to draw his attention.

Jeckhart glanced over at Oassu and Felina glad for an opportunity to breathe "Mr Oassu certainly looks the part this evening don't you think? I wonder where he got those clothes from however" he asked Mu.

Felina gasped a little surprised to see a couple of extra noblewomen requesting to join in with them before allowing them in between herself and Mu "Hehe I don't think they can do any flipping as such so there goes that plan. But hey just give us all a moment to get used to it before speeding up" she warned testing out the steps. "Hey Oassu I think you are a natural at this hehe"

Hayate rolled his eye glancing over at the couple "Maybe avoid the talking thing. I think he doesn't need to be told how to look after Felina and if I am proven wrong hes getting a smack from me for not making the effort to take care of her. Besides you will probably just scare him doing that." he advised looking up at the giant clock mounted on the wall. "I hope you aren't offended by this but I think now is my cue to slip out the party. As much as I like your company, since we are now only getting a few hours at most before taking off, I would like to spend a few more moments with my partner. I'll send word out as to where to find me when its time to move though."

"I am sure your temple will be able to provide you with all that you need for magical studies however I am sure you could always request a hand from Zadina. Even if he is not around I am sure he could provide you with more than enough reading materials. He seems to see you as a much valued friend and one of the few his own age" Elorin chuckled.

Alusaadi frowned watching he chics behaviour "Oh? Well if he has such a liking for objects like your cloak clasp then he will at the very least enjoy treasure hunting and digging activities. It's a shame chocobos can't eat chocolate or else I could have given him a whole stash of chocolate coins to keep him entertained for a long while"

Hebal scratched her head "I don't know because elves are all so different to eachother and don't all have shared countries. I mean even if you look at both Felina and Hayate. Even if Hayate has lived in Yithra a long time, you don't have to talk to him for to long to know he came from a place with a completely different set of customs to Felina and Zadina. Sort of the same in a way as what you demons are like hehe.

Alpha raised his eyebrow "Oh I see how it is. But fine I will keep my mouth shut for now unless Oassu and Felina start to do badly at blending in. But hey don't let me stop you from having a little alone time fun with your partner. Now is probably a good time to slip away quietly and I bet everyone will be understanding" he smirked.

Amane grinned a little surprised "Oh has he mentioned me much to you your highness? It's really nice to hear that he possibly said that about me as I see him as a much valued friend. He's been so nice to me and not laughed at the fact that I seem to know next to nothing about the world outside of my forest"

Oassu nodded "I guess you'd need to know about so many cultures when your citizens are so spread out" he said smiling politely at the newcomers "And I'm sure you can teach me plenty, as I imagine we'll be doing all their dances when we eventually go on our pre-wedding tour" he added to Felina spinning the other direction.

Zadina nodded "Well of course, I wouldn't tolerate a little chocobo thief, he's very good natured though, he only wants to share the treasures he finds as gifts, I'll teach him to be better I promise!" he said overhearing Elorin and Amane "Still of course you are a great friend Amane, you are really kind and fun to play with but we'll have even more fun exploring the world when we go on your pilgrimage" he said excitedly "Still perhaps we should leave the King and Queen to their party for now and go get something to eat, the fireworks will be starting once the dancing finishes after all" he suggested before whispering "And it'll take us a little bit of time to climb up that tower for the best view"

Jeckhart nodded "The elven people are pretty unique in that sense they are so scattered and yet remain mostly united under a monarch" he panted glad to hear the music was winding down for a different song meaning he could take a break soon.

Felina sighed a little sad the dance had ended "Well then I guess that means it is just you and me now if you still want to. Dancing though is entirely optional in some places and in others you are expected to sit and watch everyone dance for you. Still it makes a good public image to try and join in when an opportunity arises that won't case offence. Just be glad you arent in any power position. It's very hard to please one bunch of elves without offending another"

Elorin smiled pretending not to have heard Amane's comment "I am glad that you have found our talk to be enlightening even if I do not feel like I have said or done anything special. Though you to run along and have fun as while we are on the subject of dancing, I believe I owe this fine woman a dance tonight" he added gently pulling Alusaadi up and across the room towards the dance floor in one swift motion since the path very clearly opened up for them.
