Lily, eating as she walked, went outside, forgetting her shoes. She'd decided to spend some time out of doors, possibly at the lake. She continued to trill to herself, needing the sound, a rather absurd amount of food in the basket she had tucked on one arm.
((Gotta run. Lates.))

Lady Crystal smiled kindly at the young catgirl and then waved to Richard. "Hello again," she greeted him cheerfully, setting her wine glass down again. "I am terribly sorry to hear that," she said to Tali.

Kaen and Asphiel walked into the Muffin, both returning to the bar. "Nii-san, I think I'm going to go upstairs for a while," she said, giving her brother a small kiss on the cheek before climbing the stairs.
Akeno looked at Kaen as she climbed the stairs then at ASphiel. "Where did that come from?" he wondered; Kaen only gave him a kiss when something was up. He finished his sake and followed her up the stairs, wanting to speak with her.

Maara smiled back, though she thought the woman was slightly out of place here. Oh well, everyone was in at least one place or another.
Richard gave a slight smile, bowing his head to her for a moment before speaking. "Hello Miss." He said, taking the seat one away form Maara. He set his four by five leather book on the countertop, along with a manilla folder. "How are you on this fine day?"

"Hello, young lady," Lady Crystal said to Maara. "I am Lady Crystal, what's your name?" "I am well, and you?" she asked Richard, glancing at his book and folder. "Is your research going well?"

"Hi!" Maara said brightly, ears twitching. "I'm Maara. Nice to meet you Crystal!" She said, dropping the title without even thinking about it.
Richard looked at his two things, as if forgetting they were there. "Oh...well no actually. I haven't found any of the off world races...or anything...but it's alright, I'm enjoying myself nonetheless." He gave a smile. "I am also doing quite well..." He smiled.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well," Lady Crystal said, having grown to expect the people here to abstain from using titles. "Are you looking for a certain race?" she asked, interested.

Maara hopped up to get herself some cereal, tail swaying happily.
Richard shook his head. "Well, no and yes. There's been a few rumors lately about a race from another planet that recently came back to power. They've been in contact with this one for a few years now, though we never knew about it until it did. Supposedly, the inhabitants all descend from a powerful race that died out many, many years ago. I'm looking for descendents, or even the original members themselves. I'm losing hope for the latter however...such a being would be very old, and probably avoid me anyway." He frowned. "Other than that, the inhabitants of this inn have been my focus for the past few days. Sir Tomo was even kind enough to answer some of my questions." His face broke into a smile, frost eyes glittering. "Very interesting people here, I hope to meet more."

"I am sorry, but I do not believe I can help you with your search for that race," Lady Crystal said sympathetically. "I do not know much of other planets. However, I have heard many tales of fantastic races on this world if you would find those to be of help."

Ellie went through spells of coughing, not breathing for ten to fifteen seconds, and then gasping for breath. It used more energy than she could manage, and she fell into a fitful sleep where she was on the couch. Her skin grew paler still, and she reeked of the still stench of death. Her eyes were half open, though she was asleep. Her lips swollen and chapped, occasionally blood came up with the coughs, but she couldn't tell anymore.

(I thought you left!!) Richard straightened. "I am always interested in tales. If it isn't trouble to you of course." He said, then gave an alarmed look to the woman on the couch. "Goodness...is she alright?" He asked, standing up. He knew better than to stand over a sleeping woman, so stayed where he was.

"She seems to be very ill," Lady Crystal said solemnly. "I have no experience in caring for the sick however. Do you?"

Ellie barely opened her eyes, her emotions surging a weak hurt, and fear. She was afraid of death, and afraid of whatever caused this to happen to her. And if it would happen to Baizou, Ever, or Tomo. Salty tears welled her eyes again, this time streaking her pale face. She coughed and coughed, her body collapsing upon itself in her tightened ball of limbs. Blood spat out onto the floor, and she stopped breathing for almost a minute, her eyes blank. She started gasping, again, but relapsed in coughs.

Richard shook his head. He had calming herbs...that was all. He edged neared, hoping he wasn't offending either of the two woman by doing so. "Miss? Do you require assistance?" He asked uncertainly, frost eyes concerned for the young woman.

Her throat closed in reaction when she tried to speak, and her eyes squinted up at him. "T-tomo." she said, her voice dry and raspy. "He... help.." she spat out more raspy blood, and her eyes were blood shot and dry.
