*the sun had finally went down, and Rogue crawled out of the closet she had snuck into. a middle aged woman was living in the house, but Rogue had not had the chance to meet her yet.
the lock on the door slowly spun around, and Rogue moved swiftly and silently into another room. the woman walked in and put groceries on the table.
She walked into the bathroom and took a dump, washed her hands and came back out. Rogue was waiting on the sofa.
"What the hell?!? How did you get in here??"
*Rogue smiled appoligetically, but without a word she almost appeared behind the woman and bit into her throat. there was not even enough time for the woman to really scream and Rogue pulled her closer letting the sensation move through all her thoughts.*

~He walks briskly from the door of a busy-seeming bar, trailing a young woman behind him who laughs drunkenly as she follows his lead.
He looks back at her, smiling with such a sense of charm that she stops in her tracks, giggling nervously.
She reaches up, kissing him lightly, the petty charm bracelet on her left wrist chiming dully. He continues to smile down at her, leading her nonchalantly into the comforting darkness of the alleyway, and lightly putting her up against a wall.
She smiles in a way that must seem seductive to her, and her hands move to her blouse. His hand intercepts hers, stopping it, and he chuckles deeply as he kisses her once more...he moves to her neck slowly, and she proffers it to him, leaning her head back...he betrays her trust, biting deep into the life of her veins, drifting with the ebb and flow of her heart, until the sound is so barely heard that he knows he must release...she drops, not one trickle of blood escaping the small holes on her neck...
He sighs, lightly wiping his lips and bringing himself out of the trailing euphoria...he disposes of her body and drifts away as a shadow...~

*Rogue climbed quietly through the apartment window and crawled up onto the roof. she jumped a few roofs then, and slid down a drainpipe to the ground. she lit a cigarette and walked down the street.*

*Her thoughts drifted to that of the razorteeth. she wondered if they were gone for good, but knew they would probably crawl out when she least expected it. Rikku had said that there were more than a few...and as far as she knew only a few had been knocked off.
she took a drag.*

Neko lunged on a rooftop, listening to the rain and listening to Kage who was telling her about one of his hosts. She suddenly sat upright, glad that scents still somewhat carried in the rain.
Hey! I wasn't done yet!
You can tell me later. Vampires are out.
She jumped to another rooftop, smelling for the vampire she had sniffed. She soon found her, and jumped down onto the sidewalk behind her.

*Rogue took a drag on her cigarette and tried to keep it dry in the rain. She felt odd, an aura very close but she couldn't place what it was at all so she kept walking quietly.*

*Rogue jumped back, a bit startled. she normally wasn't snuck up on...if that was her objective or not.*
"Hello there." *She paused a second and took another drag.* "Hunting, I suppose you could say, and there are always other matters about. But maybe just a stroll for now.
What brings you out in the lovely weather?"

"Oh, nothing really. I just have to go outside every so often or I get all cranky." She smiled broadly. "Names, Neko. What's yours?" She held out a hand.

*a raindrop landed squarely on the butt of her cigarette putting it out. under her breath Rogue mutter some brief profanity.*

*She lit up another cigarette and was more careful to keep it from getting wet.*
"I haven't seen too many hunters out and about...they must just be slacking off..unless you're one in disguise." *she chuckled to herself.*

"I doubt that any hunter could reproduce these," She said, waving a hand at her tails. "As life-like as mine are, spell or no. No, I'm the genuine article, a full-fledged Animalian Illusion-mag demon. Complete with cuddly demon purr." She laughed, staring up at the clouds. "The hunters are about most likely."

*Rogue stretched out her senses briefly feeling the area around and could sense some activity that didn't feel quite human...a little stronger maybe. possibly hunters.*
"Maybe I just haven't been messy enough lately." *She smiled.*
"I like the tail by the way. It is very becoming. So how old are you?"
*She knew so many questions could be rude, but her feline instincts made her all the more curious.*

"Oh, woops. I have nine." She said, flicking them out so that they weren't all stuck together. "The rain makes them want to stick to each other, and thank you by the way. I'm 17, 18 come this September. What about yourself?"
