Kaen turned slowly, hearing Tali's words. "Rip your soul out?" she said breathlessly, her eyes wide. "How dare you assume I would do such a thing! We ca--" Anger rose inside her, cutting her words short. She glared hard at Tali, then ran out the back door.
Akeno watched his sister run out. "First of all, those stories are greatly exaggerated. Kitsune do not have the ability to rip people's souls out, nor kill one with stares. Secondly, it is hunters, people that kill my kind for sport, that rip our souls out to punish us for even existing. It has nearly happened to both Kaen and myself." He laid a finger on his chest, pointing to a very old scar over his heart.

"I know." Baizou replied, knowing what she was going to say. "I do not know what else I can do." He murmured, feeling helpless. "Do you want me to get Tomo?"

Lily flinched a bit, then looked to the woman and shrugged, offering a lopsided smile. Then, despite feeling certain that she would offend the woman, she pointed to her, then made a motion as if eating, trying to ask if she was hungry. Then she tipped her head to the side, waiting for a reply, one brow arching as she watched Kaen run out.

Asphiel looked surprise since he knew Tali was only joking, "I guess tali took that joke too far...we also have been persecuted by the hunters. Many old friends of mine have died in their arms, and Kai also had his encounters. They rip our wings to sell them," he got up, "I better find her and ask forgiveness for Tali. Do you know where she ran off to? Maybe she's in the back."
"I am a warrior angel. My job is to protect the Light in this world from the darkness." he said with joy and not hearing what was going on with the others.
Itius went to his room and took his clothes in a bag and his armor and weapons and walked back down the hall. Seeing them again he ripped off a necklace from his nect - two coins, one bronze and one gold - and threw them inside next to them, "I hope you live happy together, because for those who can live happily together there are those who have to roam alone." he walked down the stairs and out the Muffin, not looking back, not wanting to look back.

"She's either hiding up in the tree outside or she's on the roof," Akeno said, glaring at Tali, irritated that he was oblivious to what he had said to Kaen. "If she's not there, she may have squeezed herself in the space btween the barn and the fence. I found her there once."

"That sounds like a very noble task," she said to Tali. "Though some would say that Light and Dark are not the proper names for what you mean to protect and fight."

(*Sneaks in* my my...all the people...*hugs everyone*) Maara came down the stairs, no where near as bouncy as usual, but still cheerful. She blinked at the Bar's occupants, then smiled at everyone before hopping into a bar seat.

Lily threw out a rather mocking salute, then disappeared into the kitchen. Soon, the smell of cooking chicken wafted out into the main room, and the sound of her trilling could be faintly heard as well.

"Of course not, but we have to call them that. Orders. For instance we help demon villages around here and they're not light beings." he said drinking some of his wine.
he bowed to Akeno and walked to the back and outside. He ruffled his wings because of the nippy air, "kaen! kaen!!" he walked closer to the forrest, looking in every corner.
((If tali would look at him now he would run away scared...))

Akeno nodded as Asphiel walked outside and returned to his sake, ignoring Tali but still fuming on the inside.
Kaen lifted her head as she heard someone calling her name. She pushed aside the branches of the tree and looked down as Asphiel, wiping away tears that threatened to freeze to her cheeks. "What do you want?" she snapped, moving to where he could see her. She shivered slightly as cold wind whipped past her.

Please forgive him." he stretched his hand hoping she would take it and they could go back inside. "He won't say those things again, I promise."

Maara simply swung her legs as she sat, tail high and ears perked. She was glad there were people around, but they all seemed stressed... and how come Lily wasn't talking? Was she mad? Shrugging, Maara started humming beneath her breath.
Richard descended the steps, wearing a white shirt and black pants with a red tie. His short hair was neat, clothing not betraying a single wrinkle. His frost eyes gazed around at the bar, intrigued by all the different races. It was quite the place Tomo run here.
