Khaiver merely smirked as Malik left, shakign his head. "You go on and keep testing the patience of Master Tyyreal, D'vinn...we'll see what happens and what doesn't." Anothet smirk, before taking some interest in the various pieces of armor and what not around.
He ate his dinner but then plopped back on the bed, staring at the ceiling and counting the differences in stone color that he saw. So bored...company wasn't something that made them do this...it just wasn't. Daddy usually took people like that down to his study. Was it because mommy wasn't here? Which brought on a little blip of sadness for him...missed his mommy.
But he turned his head to Zykariel, and blinking at him before watching Yinn give a yawn and promptly start gnawing on the sheets. Silvery eyes turned back to hsi friend and he nodded. But a look to his father as he came in. "We're done, can we go outside and play?" Hey, outside has windows to look inside to. And it would just be nice to get out too.
Sevilin turned a look up to Malik. "Little ones are already starting to get bored." He knew it wasn't going to be easy...one room interested them for about half and hour, seeing as they didn't have thier nursery full of toys and such to play in anymore.
Keely pulled the little horse over to her, wiping it off some, though a tilt of her head though as she did so as wings fluttered on the little one's back...though those weren't normal wings...no they looked like....fire...whoa. Another whip at the foal before looking to Zahara. Nightmares only have fire on thier manes and tails and hooves, right?"

"Outside? not right now. the sentries are having to deal with some creatures I don't want you around."
But he took a seat, and leaned forward.
"But you say your studying is done. so, regal me about Lucana."
before a look to Sevilin.
"My buisness is almost concluded with him. but he's not goin gto leave until you and he meet. once my half is done, you may want to make arrangements for it so he can go home."

He gave a sigh that sounded half annoyed when he was told that they couldn't go outside. That was irritating...this room was stifling, there was no room to run. Malikhai slanted a look at his father and flipped over to his tummy, propping elbows on the bed and chin in his hands. "Lucana, Andal, moon elves, grandpa...." pausing a moment to think and this was being given none too enthusiastically and in minial terms... "mining, requias peninsula...eastern half of Andal, closest to Daimos." He had his ways of showing unhappy even without tantrums. "Can we play somewhere else?" Worth another shot.
A glance at the boys then back to Malik. "I'm prepared for him to be sticking around a while. He'd got an opportunity on his hands and no doubt intends to exploit it to it's fullest by whatever methods he deems are safe enough to try around here.

"Right. But we bred our girl here who's a nightmare mix with a pegasus and voila we get fire tipped winged nightmare which is exactly what we were going for. Piper's going to be utterly thrilled." She glanced over for a moment and gave Keely a warning. "Watch that fire. Usually it's harmless but since she's a newborn and probably a little unsure and scared she might have the power to make it burn. Just be careful." Zahara turned back to the horse and began petting against her stomach again. "Come on baby, you can do this." The horse was having issues though and Zahara reached in and felt around. "The horse is turned. I'm going to need help with this one." She grabbed a slave. "Go get either Lord Inthara, have him bring the children and come out here as soon as possible."
Zykariel was kicking the wall. He'd read everything Malikhai had but he didn't want to regurgitate facts anymore than Malikhai did. "Moon elves and Rinc Kier."
The serf knocked rapidly on the door and did not even wait to be beckoned inside. He caught sight of the one he needed immediately. "Lady Val'Ril requests you and the children's presence in the stables Lord Inthara. She was most urgent as I believe the life of the mare hangs in the balance. Please come."

Malik got himself up, and glanced at Sevilin.
"Alright. we'll all go to the stables. you boys can help with the horse, adn then you can play outside, alright?"
then a look at Sevilin.
"I want him out of here asap. let him get with you, have his little fun, and the second he leaves your presence he's going back to andal in a box if it has to be. but I'm not having him stay here a second longer than absolutely needed."

She's got fire wings alright." Indeed she did, but she took her care with them then, seeing as she didn't want to get burned, that wouldn't be fun at all, idly watching Zahara as apparently there were issues. Not fun.
Sevilin scowled. "First Khaiver, then horses...I swear I'm not having a good week..." Hated them both and well...he pretty much didn't consider himself a ranch hand of any sorts...yet here this situation as well. Then he blinked as the boys had flashed past him and out the room. "And they escaped." A shake of his head and he looked to Malik with another scowl. "I'll deal with it..." For some reason he had the feeling that he was going to be cutting a deal of some sorts with that drow. But out the room and to the stables with them.
He indeed had popped up and grabbed his friend's hand, darting off as soon as he heard those words. After all, they had no idea that there was a potiential threat stalking around the house who could really be anywhere. They just knew thier destination was outside and they could play and what not.

"Aren't they beautiful?" Zahara went back to stroking the mare's neck and trying to keep her calm. She knew the instant Sevilin was in the stables and glanced up. "Thank the gods you're here. I need your help and before you say anything, yes, I know you don't like horses and I'm sorry. But Malik doesn't know what he's doing and I'd prefer him not to do anything and I know I can count on you." She reached in the dilated area and felt around slightly. "The colt is turned. Can you get your hands in and try to help him shift? If he doesn't turn, he'll be strangled by the nutrient cord, worst case scenario or his mama will have a hard time getting him out. And she wants him out, don't you girl?" The horse gave a pained snort and Zahara lightly stroked her mane. "We may have to just pull him out..." Glancing up at Sevilin, "Up for another miracle of life?"
Zykariel was thrilled to be out of that room and free, or sort of anyway. He ran around the front area of the fortress over to a stand of rocks. "I'm an explorer searching for someone very important..." He put his hand up as though he was shading his eyes from the sun and glanced around. "But I don't know where he went."

"I know more than you think. but I'll let Sevilin deal with this."
Though his attention drifted to his son and went outside of the stables, and out toward Zykariel. They may be allowed to play, but that didn't mean that Malik wasn't going to watch them like a hawk.

This was one of those times where he hated her. Out of all the people to do things, she had to pick him. Even if she knew he hated horses, she picked him...and what she was asking was none too inviting. So then he merely glared at her, took off the rings on one hand and put them on the other, then just merely stepped up to the plate and went for it. "You are going to owe me so big for this, you'll be three hundred before you're paid up." Yeah this was the last thing he wanted to do today...even if her probably could do it thus as easily...well on to getting it over with.
Yay to be outside, oblivious to all the danger around you. At least if he was playing, all the funny feelings in his head would be thrown to the wayside with his distraction. But he followed after the ring leader of the team, crawling up on the rocks as well, slipping a little, but getting himself up there. Insert imagination here. "What you need is a tracker!" And the boy, who had Yinn under one arm, promptly plopped the draithix pup on his head. Oh yes indeed they were going to trek all around this place if they could. "I so happen to know this place so well I could find my way with my eyes closed and find anything in it." Cute, he was bragging.

Zahara frowned at him, "I only owe you if you do it satisfactorily and right which you can't do if you're complaining. Malik, go keep the other horses settled. They all know something's going on and since you can speak darkness or shadow or whatever you can relay the message." It would be a hell of a lot better than having him in there with her, breathing over her shoulder. A shake of her head, "Would you rather hold her down while I turn the colt? Careful, she does bite." Okay, she was being a little mean but the last thing she needed was him bitching.
Zykariel gave a grin at his friend and nodded, "A tracker! Why didn't I think of that?" He shook his head in wonder then plopped his hands on his hips. "Well my fine elven friend." Giggling of course. "Are you for hire? I'll pay you three chocolate chip cookies and one sugar if you can find what I need. Want the job?"

"I'll relay the message."
called over to her while he kept his eyes on the kids. a flitting of thought to Ramoth, through shadow and darkness, who then relayed the message through to her herd of what was going on. the mare was having twins, one was backwards, they were working to get it out safely.
Though the horses did get a bit more agitated for a moment in alarm, they settled down quickly to wait.
"Ramoth says if the colt comes out healthy and alive that she'll not snap at Sevilin for three weeks."

"Giving me treats now? How nostalgic for me..." He was snappy when he was cranky and horses made him cranky. And of course a roll of his eyes at Malik. "And now the other one tries to give me incentinve...doesn't matter, Faete will snap at me twice as much to make up for it." At least that stupid Zephyr Serino left him alone. But a roll of his eyes and he merely decided to commit to it...a little creative grasping and pulling...and out slid another little horse...he still wasn't happy at all and now he was grossed out. "Happy?" Nice...
He took on that serious business look his father got sometimes, and crossed hsi arms over his chest and everything, indeed a little mini Malik. "Well...I suppose that's a good price...throw in a glass of milk and you have yourself a deal." Thus turning to look out over the front yard...or what would be a front yard and gave a point. "We start that way." Jumping off the rock and starting on his way.

Zahara, however, didn't much care if Sevilin wasn't excited because dammit she was. That baby colt was the most magical sight ever to her. She immediately snatched the little colt and tugged him into her lap, going about using the warmed cloth to clean the membrane and blood out of his eyes and then gently sponge bathe him clean. "He's a little beauty, isn't he? And he's going to grow up to be a fine stallion some day, aren't you?" Yup, she was already sweet talking the baby horse. It didn't take too long to get him cleaned up and checked over, including those magnificent wings though his personality was alraedy slightly impatient as he snorted and lunged for his mother. Little guy was hungry. She let him go and stepped back, watching him push himself to his feet and amble over to join his sister who had already begun to nurse. "Aren't they just adorable." Two healthy baby colts, the first of the new generation and the first to have those coveted fire tipped wings. Once they bred one of these two, their colts would fetch them a pretty penny. She gave a sunny grin to Sevilin and nodded to Malik. "Spread the news to them all. Our girl gave birth. Oh I have to write Piper. She's going to be so jealous!" Running a hand over her forehead and through her hair to shove it out of her face. Yup, Zahara was excited.
Zykariel crossed his arms as well and gave that pensive look his father often got when he was mulling over a deal. "You drive a hard bargain but I think I can make that happen. As long as you're willing to share." He hopped down off the rocks and followed after Malikhai. "But I haven't told you what he looks like yet. Are you reading my mind again Khai?" Of course he was talking about those random times they both got the same idea at the very same time.

Malik nodded lightly.
"they know. thier scents are in the air, and the blood not to mention the new mother as well. We can get a letter to piper without much effort I think. however, more pressing matters will have to come first, like Khavier."
watching both kids walk off, though not out of sight.
"Seems the kids are having themselves a little treasure hunt out here."

And she didn't even care for his irritation did she? Of course not...she never did when she was around horses...well he has one nasty hand, which he swiped a towel from the pile and duely wiped off...yeah not fun for him at all, and on top he didn't even get a thank you. Why did that figure so much. "Yeah yeah, horses." Chucking the towel down and promptly walking from the space he considered stifling, leaning on the outside of the stables. Bah, horses.
Shaking his head he reached into his tunic and drew out a still lethargiv ferret, holding him in his palm a moment before letting the creature stretch out the length of his forarm and lay there with his head in his palm, twitching his nose lightly. "Still not feeling well are you?" Giving the creature a pet. First magic, then nym, surface matters, kahiver, horses...life was being a b***h again. A look to Malik. "Let them burn off some energy.
"A man always knows what's amiss in his own home." Giving a proud nod at his quickly thought up answer to how he pulled that one off. "So then, I know things are off and which direction to go, so why don't you give me the details now? Details are good." Resting one hand on Yinn's back so the little thing woudln't fall off his head.
