Ellie's weak arm barely held onto it, and as she sipped a little, she spilled onto her face, and it dripped down her neck, and stopped to absorb into the collar of her shirt. Looking down, she coughed again, this time, dropping the glass. Her weak hand tried to stop it, but it fell to the floor and broke. Her eyes stung with salty tears.
"Get. Out. It is not a threat. Get out, now. You do NOT belong here, scum" Ever said, not shouting anymore, but in a deathly low tone, venom lacing his words. "I do not care if you are afraid of me, and I care less about your thoughts on death. I just want you to leave Caradoc alone. Forever."

"Better, still taking cold showers to get the burn feeling off of me. Su told me you saw me in my...what they called 'stuffed pidgeon' position. I never would've thought you would laugh with them from what tali told me." Tali looked away.

"Oh, simply marvelous things really," Lady Crystal said, giggleing just slightly, her voice gaining a dramatic tone. "They say Kitsunes are the most powerful and feared demons of all. There eyes are like portals into the depths of the netherworld. The sound of their cry can rend the soul right out of your body, and with but a single twitch of their tail they can create earthquakes and typhoons greater than the world has ever seen. It is all very silly really," she said, calming down again, gesturing to Kaen and Akeno. "They do not appear anymore harmful than you or me."

Baizou frowned and cupped her cheek, "It is okay, love. It is just a glass." He said, standing up to clean it up. "If you need anything, I will get it for you..." He cleaned everything up and mopped the floor. "I... I wish I knew what was wrong."

"If caradoc was any special. A machine without feelings. More like a carriage." he said walking out and towards his room, anger boiling inside of him.

Tali looked at Akeno stunned, "And I thought he would hurt me but he can rip my sould out I knew it. Akeno you liar!" he said pointing, at first with a stern face, but he couldn't help but to laugh, "And what about angels?"

"You obviously didin't think so." he spat back, at Itius's retreating back. He stayed where he was, but spoke in a softer, more calming voice. "ARe you okay?" he asked, bitin ghis lip a little bit.
Ellie nodded, and her eyes closed. The salty tears welled, but refused to descend down her face. She curled her body into a ball, cuddling into the couch.

"I wasn't laughing...." she said quietly, her ears drooping. "I was....happy that you protected that village. I wasn't laughing at what happened to you." She looked down and slowly sipped at her sake.
Akeno looked between Asphiel and Kaen and sighed. This is going to be interesting... he thought to himself, knowing that interesting wasn't quite the right word. Uncomfortable probly worked better.

Caradoc clenched his fists. It's not as if he hadn't heard claims like that, but he still couldn't stand it. He brought his knees up to his forehead and sighed in disgust. He looked up at Ever and shook his head. "I hate him. I wish he never saw me."
Any pain he felt right now was forgotten as he cradled Ellie in his arms. "I love you," He whispered

Ellie smiled weakly, what she could manage. She started "I lo-" in the middle of what she could try to say, she started coughing more violently than before, feeling as though her ribs pierced her lungs more and more each time. The coughing spell ended in about ten seconds of her not breathing, her eyes dull and lifeless, but she came back, gasping for air, and her throat burning as she did so.
Ever walked over, and sat down next to him on the bed. "It is okay. I do not think that at all about you." he said, rubbing Caradoc's arm.

Lily trailed downstairs, wet hair hanging down her back, grimacing as she saw the number of people in the room. The fact that Crystal was there didn't help at all, and she almost turned around to go back upstairs, but... she was so hungry. She'd been hungry since she'd woken up. Gait still more of a pained shuffle than anything, the teen went to the kitchen, ears flopped, trying desperately not to attract too much attention.

"Well Akeno said he wouldn't hurt me with his eyes..." "The only liar here is you, Tali. She wouldn't laugh at me. Only you two would." "Would that mean kaen can also rip my soul out?" "How did you get so stupid..." "I'm just playing..." Asphiel shook his head with a smile.
Itius was standing outside when he heard that. He bit his lower lip and slowly he fell on the floor, "I wasn't thinking of him...I was dreaming... of Aluk..." he said in whisper as he closed his eyes to hold the pain back, the memories of his death.
