SSBB will not have DLC.
As quoted in an interview with IGN:
IGN: We have to ask because there are so many rumors about this. Are there any hidden characters to come? Can you unlock more hidden fighters by way of WiiConnect24 or will you offer new downloadable content -- new fighters, for example. -- using the service?
Masahiro Sakurai: No. There are no characters that can be unlocked via connecting to WiiConnect24 or interacting in that fashion. And I may be mistaken here, but the Wii doesn't have a hard drive -- it's a disc-based system -- so I don't think we'll be doing that, I don't think it's going to happen.

And yeah, sorry if its old news guys. I just found out. >>
But the fact we get to play Brawl the day before its out is pretty awesome.

I've read a lot of the interview stuff on the Japanese website, and they've been saying how they made Brawl as if it'll be the last of it's series, and therefore, gave their absolute best for the game or something. The interview seems to be everywhere now as well, but.. yeah. Meaning, they've already added everything they would have added to the game by now. At least that was how they sounded and stuff in the interview.
I knew from the beginning that a Downloadable Content feature would be unreasonable and SSBB wouldn't be one that would really have them other than for stages and ... things of the sort. ._.

Meta_Fish What's everyone friend match online fighter stance saying going to be? I was thinking about making all of mine obscene, just curse words. But I think I'll put "'Nuff said." and "Death does wear blue." in for two of mine.
Today, I gave into temptation and looked at all the Dojo updates since the Japan release, and I've watched a few youtube vids twisted sweatdrop
