Yeah animals like me too. I used to be around this german shepard rotwiler mix that was extremely sweet to me, the owners waited until later to tell me the dog was racist and they were surprised it liked me so much.

We use to have a rottenshepard lol. Her name was Honey. Sweet dog and great with kids. I miss her and my Dottie cat. We lost them both in a fire.

I've had cats that saposidly hated everyone, crawl into my lap and fall sleep.

Damian kittens go nuts.
O Damian: cat_twisted
W Damian: cat_confused
E Damian: cat_emo
R Damian: cat_ninja
BB Damian: cat_mad

They all look at BB Damian: "Your too old to be a kitten."
BB Damian: "Tt, I'll brain you little twerps, she's still my mother too." Crosses arms and glares.

I'm so sorry!

I had a kitty I grew up with from age 4 to 13. I still get teary eyed when I talk about him. I loved him so much and I seriously thought we'd always be together. I thought he'd come with me to college and everything.

So I know how devastating is lose an animal soul mate.

Its heart breaking.. to loose someone you love..

O Selina: Geezus its gonna be a pain in the a** for your birthdays and Christmas

I've lost 3 dogs, one of them I've had since I was 5, all three died of old age. Two puppies, one was run over by my c**t of an aunt, the other was stolen, killed, and dumped in the road. Finally, I had a stray kitten that we took in that ran away because my grandmother was a dumbass, it probably died in the forest behind my house.

I've learned that the best way to deal with loss is just to cut all ties to emotions and memories and forget about it before it starts to hurt. Its cold and probably unhealthy, but its better than the alternative.

I actually did have a little black and white kitten named Damian when I was little that I wanted to keep really bad but my mom ended up giving him away.
He was the trouble maker of all the kittens we had and my fave. We also had a 3 legged cat named Chevy. I could actually talk about all the millions of pets I've had. Had a lot.

Ok slowly posting to the other rp's. yay.

Futer Damian sits back. "Just give them all a chek, it's what I do."
Future Lian glares at him. "Thats so cold though. Very impersonal if you ask me. What does your wife have to say to that?"
Damian stares off into space not wanting to talk about her.

We had a pet cat named Pierre when I was very young who died of leukemia when I was still very young. Also when I was young we had a sheltie dog named Mystique Gypsy Rose, which we called Rosie, and we had her for a looooooong time. She was totally my bestest friend, and losing her really sucked. We had a gaggle of feral cats that lived under our house as well, and they eventually just stopped coming around, and then we got a new siamese cat named Smokey. We think he was kinda inbred and mildly retarded, but he was still pretty cool. he wandered off one day and we think he got caught by some kind of skunk trap or got injured in some way because he came home after a long walkabout with a dead leg. They had to amputate it and we had a three-legged cat for a good four or five years. We also got him fixed, but he still wandered off and one day got poisoned or something. He died and that was sad. Before he died though my sister brought home a funny little sand colored mutt who we named Thadeus. Still have him. We also adopted two other stray cats and tried to bring them with us when we moved, but one ran away and the other died, probably also of leukemia.
::Oh, they also came home with a tiny little dog of indistinguishable origin who we also currently have.

It's sad, but all you can do is treat them nice and hope you made them as happy as they made you.

No Eric, I embrace every drop of agony. I remember every pur, every precious moment, everytime I'd call for him and no matter how far away he was he'd hear me and come running each time. I remember him being the sole reason why I never felt alone. I felt loved and I never felt abandoned because I knew that he loved me. Any pet owner can tell in the certain way their pets do things how much they love him. When I was 4 I wasn't scrawny but I wasn't chubby. My cat was easily 1/2 or 1/3 my size. Whenever it was time to bathe him he never scratched me, he just cried to guilt me into letting him go.

We'd eat cereal together. I hated milk so he'd drink some of my milk for me. He watched me play Street Fighter and would fall asleep on my back or butt while I played.

I truly believe in my heart that he was sent by God to be my rock through my childhood.

It actually worried my grandma alot that I loved him SO much. He had generations of kids that he took very good care of. I didn't know it when I was little but my grandma and grandpa would wake up early and find that someone has poisoned one of the babies or ran them over in front of our house so they'd get up early and get rid of the body because they knew how hard I'd take it. One morning they didn't catch one and I saw it. I was about to run into the street and my grandma screamed at me to stay put.

Then a neighborhood kid was holding a kitten when the neighbor dog got loose. He dropped the kitten and my grandma had to snatch me up and hold me down so I didn't end up getting mauled trying to save the baby.

When I think about it, it must have really worried her and scared her how far I'd go for those cats.

One day she accidently ran over one of the baby kittens. It was sleeping behind the tire of the crown victoria. Normally I'd go outside and follow her to the car bugging her about bringing me something home, or jumping on the hood of the car while she pulled out the driveway... But this time I stayed inside. She quickly came back in and looked so sad. She told me she ran over one of the babies. She asked me to burry it because she was too squeamish for that. I felt so bad because she kept apologizing and blaming herself. She even cried. I blamed myself. If I had followed her out to her car, I could have spotted the baby and picked him up before she pulled out. Ever since that day, even up until now she always checks the tires and under her car for stray cats.

Those memories are painful Eric but they're also beautiful.
