The little oak box started to shuffle around on it own. A small muffled noise escaped from the box.

Something pushed ant the padding of the box and out came....  a little white kitten. It meowed in a highpitch noise and looked up at Laura with curious big eyes.

Laura's eyes widened as she looked at it. "A kitten?" She muttered, then smiled. "It's soooooo cute!" heart Laura smiled as she carefully picked it up and cuttled it.

The Doctor put his hand on Anthony's shoulder, "we should sit down."
As they did the doctor spoke, "Rose will be fine physically. She's a strong woman, but..." He took a breath, "However, she took a massive blow to the head during the ultercation.(sp?) we wont know how extensive the damage is until she'll wake up. I was just wondering if she had any family that should be called?"

The cat meowed sweetly and licked the tip of laura's nose. She purred like a motor boat as it snuggled close to her.

Laura read the note and cuttled the kitten. "Ok, he's officially my favorite stalker ever." Laura giggled. "Ok. What should I name my precious widdle kittie?" She muttered cutely as she rubbed the back if it's ears.

The kitten meowed louder and leaned against Laura's hand.
It's soft fur brushed lightly against Laura's hands.

Anthony thought for a moment. Rose never talked about her family except for that time when they were on the plane. She had explained the hard life she had to deal with growing up. "I'm not sure. She never talked about her family. However, I know somone whom I think could be called" he said. He gave them chief Arthur Rivers' phone number.

The doctor nodded, "Alright. I'll call him." he looked ay Anthony wih empathedic eyes, "You can go into see her now." He got out of his seat and headed over to the phones.
He called the chief.

Arthur was in his office, writing up a police report of the situation that had happened when his phone rang. He picked up. "Police chief Arthur Rivers speaking" he said.
Anthony nodded and walked down to the room Rose was in. He slowly peeked his head in and asked softly "are you awake?"

Rose was unconsious but her eyes flickered around, indicating she was dreaming.
She was wired up. An IV was steadly dripping into her.
The Doctor spoke, "Hello this is doctor Scott from the Mercy hospital. I was given your number so I can update you on Officer Rose's condition."
((Isn't Laura in the Don's office?))
