Basically, I had just gotten a contract with an employer when my old boss called me on the very first day to tell me he could offer me a longer and surer contract if I could start right away. I listened to him, left my current job and finally hhe called me and told me that the position he offered me wasn't anything certain and that he did not know when he could give it to me.
So basically, I left a job for nothing and can't go back, and that supposed new job won't start before god knows when... You have no idea how pissed I am...

Dimi, 7d20 means roll 7 20-sided dice not that you rolled a 7 with you 20-sided dice.
Whatever you roll is simply a "roll" and not a _d20 or a DC.
I've also seen people calling what they have rolled a DC. DC stands for difficulty check, or the number that your roll + modifiers has to beat.

@Qyp: Well....some people have no reference point to rely on, no source of prior knowledge with which to interpret and understand the terminology and so they come up with abstract definitions that seem right to them with their limited understanding of the system.
@Hiru: That sucks man, what kind of work are you in? Do you have any experience working with people?
@Kouri: Are yall working on the crafting system atm? Because I have some ideas on the subject. Here's a brief overview.
- Same as with jutsu the learning process would go step by step, each step having a certain DC and number of rolls to go onto the next one - Each crafting category: blacksmith, mundane, puppet, clothing, jewelry, craft, art, traps has their own default number of steps and DC for each step - Then the different factors change those DCs and Steps and rolls per step. For example, in metal working there would be a step for melting down the metals and depending on the metal being used the number of rolls would go up because working with another metal just means it takes a different amount of time to work it down. And in the shaping step, the metal used would affect the DC. - As for the steps themselves there should always be the basic four and then add more depending on the type of crafting. Step 1: Collect Materials Step 2: Prepare Materials Step 3: Combine Materials Step 4: Refine the combination of materials.
