Sam walks into the common room and puts out the fire. She then takes her bag off her neck and sets it on the couch. She digs through it and takes out the family tree book. She opens it and then snuggles down into the blue fabric. Sam then turns to Ayumi. "Have you done your History of Magic homework yet?"

Ayumi looks up from the book she had been reading.
"I've been working on it. I have sooo much homework to do, though...I'm taking every class I can." Ayumi says to Sam. "How many classes are you taking?"

"That's cool. I kinda want to take Herbology, Arithmancy, or Ancient Runes, but we're not offering that at the moment. Oh well." Sam said with a sigh, setting down her book and then putting it on one of the shelves. She then wandered over to the window. She could see something stirring in the lake. She then looked up at the ceiling. The painted stars looked so life-like. Then it started to rain. Sam stood by the giants windows, looking at Hogwarts all wet. She felt like a widower on a widow walk. She hoped that one day she had giant windows in her house, and a widow walk. With antique furnishings. And a place where it rained a lot. Sam then chuckled. Hogwarts was in Scotland. The only place rainer then Scotland was probably the American state of Washington, and it's city, Seattle. Sam looked at the lake once more and smiled. She wondered what her Slytherin friends were doing right now. They were under the lake after all. Sam then wondered what it was like under the lake when it was raining. She probably wouldn't be able to stand being under the lake. Sam preferred a more airy common room. High up in the air was for her. She wondered if any of her kids would be Ravenclaws too, or Slytherins.

"Ancient Runes would be a fun class." Ayumi said as she looked out the window at the rainy Hogwarts grounds. Ayumi then saw her cat trying to eat her potions notes, and pulled him away.

Sam then walked over back to the couch and lied down. She had a bad head ache. She was so confused about things at the moment. But the rain cleared her mind. She looked at her arm and scratched at the itchy spot on it. Then a horrible pain split through Sam's head. She cried out in pain. She walked over to the bathroom, and looked at anything that could've made it feel that way. She didn't see anything, but her eyes, which usually just had a little gold flecks in them had more gold flecks. She just thought she was imagining stuff, and walked to her bed in the dorm. She stroked her bed post, and then took out her key to her trunk. She opened it and looked around. She found what she was looking for and took the little crystalline flask, and along with it her crystal and sapphire music box. She opened it up, and it started to play a sweet, sweet song. She smiled, took a little sip from the flask and then lied down on her bed, and looked at the intricate carving of the moon and stars. That was why she chose this bed, it was because it was the only one with the stars and moon on it. They were all over the frame work of the bed, but it was the prettiest under the top. Sam then pulled the light lace curtains around her bed and continued to lie down. When the music stopped, she took out her crystalline key and wound it up again, listening to it's sweet music.

Sam opened her curtains and looked at her friend. "I'm fine, I just get these really bad headaches. I'm fine, really. I have some medicine that I bring with my everywhere." Sam then got up and opened her trunk, and took out her itch cream. She had to have this on hand too, because once she turned 7 she had been getting horrible rough patches. Surprisingly the same year she got her powers. Sam then went back to her bed and looked out at the window. Still raining. Sam also took out her PJ's and changed into them, and slipped on her slippers. She walked out to the main common room and then looked at her friends. "Want to have some fun tonight? We can get some pop corn and like, throw a party."

Ayumi ran to her trunk and changed into her Pj's, then ran out to the commonroom. "Yeah! Party! I always have tons of popcorn and sugary stuff!" She said excitedly, happy at the idea of sugary foods. "Have to keep it away from my cat though...he can get pretty hyper..." Ayumi said, glaring at the crazy cat.

Sam smiled. "Here." Sam took out her wand which was in her back pocket, and then said, "Accio Cupcakes." A few minutes later, a baker's dozen of cup cakes came flying in. Sam then moved them with her wand and set them on a platter. Sam also made some tea. "So, how is everyone year so far? We can also talk about if we have any crushes and I we like our teachers or not." Sam then took a pillow from under the couch. "Hey, did you guys know that to get to the dormitories in the Hufflepuff common room, you have to go through a tunnel? Just like badger." Sam then pointed her wand at the fire place, and blue flames exploded from the pit, and started crackling. It stayed blue though.
