You just need to sit down and read it through a couple of times, works a whole lot better then trying to go through it in one seating. It helps if you first focus on an undivided army and slowly work yourself up to the chaos gods.

yo_momma117 Well appearently one of my friends was in the giving mood and gave me a whole bunch of unwanted space marine/chaos space marine bits, although there arent enough bases and legs to fit most of the heavy weapons he supplied me. He also gave me Chaos Space Marine Codex, and there are so many options for Chaos it gives me a headache, a whole lot more complicated than Tau. Chaos are one of the (if not THE) most flexible lists in the game.

Seraphine-Exalted Samulin On Khone OMFG...... did anyone else notice that a lord with daemnic stature can "feel no pain" a lascannon? I just realized that. Dont forget that. You may want to put in a dread dedicated to korn, he has a chance to blood rage, and two close combat weapons many attacks. You now have a dread that on occasions moves real fast[/v]to the nearest enemy unit and has even more attacks!, of course, you need to give it, little goodies like mutated hul and parasitic hull. Mutated hull gives you more armor an front and sides and more in the rear. With parasitic, you have a chance to repair damage every turn. Plus the destroyer ability from the khorn list blood rages more often and you re-roll a missed hit every close combat. Killa. Sadly, there is a chance you get to shoot two combi-bolters twice. thats not all that bad when you think of it, stable firing platform 2 shots at 24 and 4 at 12 on a six it doubles to 4 at 24 and 8 at 12, re-rolling misses thanks to to being combi, this effectivly replaces an entire squad with bolters. woot. Between you prince and the dread it would be hard to decide which to shoot. However..... this config i came up with cost.....140 points. Actually not that bad for what it does. Chaos dreads are a resourse that can be very effective.
Fixed, its now copyright legal. Not to bash or anything, but this is just my sarcastic way of pointing out copyright laws that GW has been hammering about. Well..... Thankyou.

Used to deliver the final blow with large ammounts of fire either infantry or a stubborn vehicle

To the best of my knowledge, steeds can't get in Landraiders, so give him Daemonic Speed and keep the Raider, or lose the Raider and keep the Steed. I notice that before (with regards to the Blood Raven/Librarian issue) you were saying things about storyline, and having a flufftastic army, so I'd say keep the steed. If you need to, you can have the Raider as a Heavy Support Choice (would that make it two Raiders for you?), but the Daemonic Steed is your fluffiest bet.
I'd also give the Bikers a Chaos Icon, just incase your Lord can't get to a good place, or just incase he kicks the bucket early.
Another good idea might be to have 1 squad of 12 and 1 squad of 6, so that your numbers are high. I can't remember off the top of my head if the mark of Slaanesh grants fearless, so if they are fearless, I think you can render this small paragraph null.

I'm not too sure. You don't have a great deal of men. Why not have a Havok Squad with some Anti Tank stuff, and get another squad of Daemons? You might have enough for a Dread, which will draw enough fire (it's big and metal, so it gets shot a lot) and should give enough time for your men to take out some of the nastier stuff of theirs.
Your Lieutenant would be best darting about in cover, so he doesn't lose any wounds without reason.

Im looking at a Slaaneshi army, and Havoks are pretty appealing to me for some reason, so does the changer of ways or keeper of secrets (whichever one it is). I think Ill beef up some CSM and get a pack of chosen for my commander.

I'm just curious as to how other people have modeled miniatures with the Daemonic Flight gift. Personally, this task was my first real conversion ever. I took the 40k Daemon Prince for the most part, but I used the head, wings, and sword of Belakor, the Dark Master from FB. With some green stuff and super glue, I managed to get the wings in place where the 40k Prince's mutated back pack used to be. After that, I used it to touch up the gap left by Belakor's head, and, feeling slightly creative, added some of the putty to the sword to form my interpretation of the Berserker Glaive. Once the model is painted and ready to go, I'll try to get a picture of it on here.

Though Belakor's wings are super-cool, I think that they just don't fit with the 40k Daemon Prince model. The 40k one is far too beefy, and I feel he needs larger wings. I think that the Lotr fell wings fit nicely, but they would make it a little impractical for play.

The catalog constantly pimps the FB Dragon Wings Sprue.
...to the point of actually putting them next to the 40k Daemon Prince model, and providing a nice little guide on how to do it.

Wish I'd known about that sooner. sweatdrop Oh well, even though the wings are slightly scrawnier than they probaby should be, I'm still pleased with the way it turned out.

For daemon princes i've seen people use the black dragon wings from this one reaper games. the Balrog LoTR wings are used mostly for Hive Tyrants, as ive seen. For small models i know everyone here has seen the black pegasus models from Fantasy.
