Here's a gallery called Kevin Garnett Through The Years Timberwolves picked 6-11 phenom from Farragut Academy (Chicago) with 5th pick in 1995 draft. Garnett became 1st player to jump directly from high school to NBA since Darryl Dawkins n' Bill Willoughby in 1975. Garnett sparked a trend, as prep stars Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady n' LeBron James, among others, would follow in subsequent years before NBA instituted an age restriction for draft in 2005.

Big Ticket made his regular-season debut Nov. 3, 1995, as NBA's youngest player. 19-year-old hit all 4 of his field goal attempts n' finished with 8 points in 16 minutes off bench in a 95-86 loss to Sacramento.
