Tim's smile grew hearing the growl in Daniel's voice, knowing the man was so incredibly concerned, he'd displayed it more than once or twice. "I brought you coffee from the break room." he said, offering the mug. He laughed as the other put it on the desk and hugged him. House life did not affect work, he reminded himself, hugging back, chuckling still. "I'm fine. My doctor's appointment ran a little late is all." he felt his arms lifted and checked. "He says if I continue eating at my normal diet I'll fill out my suit by the end of the month. Does the business still have its baseball team?" he asked curiously, letting Daniel fix his suit after he'd gone and ruffled it up. "You're looking a bit stressed. I really suggest that you drink your coffee."

Daniel nodded, "right! we've set up a 'Feed Tim' schedule, someone's taking you to eat or bringing you food everyday until you are back up to weigh, no arguements! They all wanted to do something to help you and this is it. Refuse and you will hurt there feelings, so there." he nodded triumphantly, as if he'd made some great accomplishment. "I'm first, so pick where you want to go. Oh! Pie-" he pulled Tim back into his office and presented him a whole apple pie, "there is ice cream in the freezer too. you're assignment for today is to eat half of this, got it?" he held up a fork as well and passed them over. "i don't need coffee! i'm wound up enough! Oh, baseball, yeah, we still have a team. should i put you back on the roster?"

"A feeding schedule? Does this mean I have a feeding time?" he laughed, though he felt it was a bit, intrusive? A little more in his personal life than they should have been? But it was incredibly kind of them, it warmed his heart nonetheless. "I would hate to hurt their feelings. Eating out will definitely give me my pounds back." Daniel must have been planning this out since the party. Now if only he put this much energy into his part of the business. "Pie?" a giant apple pie was retrieved and placed in front of Tim. "Can I eat some now?" but the fork was presented and he took it, unsure where to start first. "Oh! yes please I'd love to be put back onto the roster! I miss the guys on the team."

Daniel placed his hand on Tim's shoulder, his smile soft and warm, "we miss you too, Tim. everyone's just so glad to have you back, we don't know what to do with ourselves. sorry if we're too much." he kept his hand there for a second more, the more serious side of him showing just for an instant before it was gone. "right! work, we've got work to do! need me to walk you through, or do you remember everything?"

"It's all right. You guys beng too much is what I'm used too. I'd be more shocked if you were all detached." and looked down at the pie before looking up with a smile. "I need to see what the previous accountant has done with the finances, check for errors then fix what it necessary. I'll be working long and hard today. I may need another pie."

Daniel nodded, "then we shall get you one at lunch! until then, get yourself to work, my man. you'll feel better after a good day's work, i always do!" he picked up the coffee, not wanting to waste the effort Tim put into making it, and head to his office, leaving the door open. "come get me if you need anything!"

Timothy nodded. "Thank you again for the pie!" And walked out to his cubicle, setting it down and taking a bite before working. He looked at the past accounting records, browsing back to the last day he worked and pulled out a calculator, slowly doing the numbers while eating the pie. He paused though, reaching a number that didn't make sense so he looked back up at the screen, fork in his mouth before pulling out a sheet of paper and slowly doing the calculations before standing up and leaving to go to a different room, coming back with a few folders. "Mr. Brooks." Andy said, knocking Daniel's door. "It's been thirty minutes." and pointed to Tim who was walking back with a much larger pile of folders, a nice castle already surrounding his cubicle as he went back to work. "I think he's fixing numbers, but he made me hold his pie because he didn't have room on his desk." and the pie looked like it only had the three initial bites before it was abandoned. Then Tim stood up and left again, looking like he was going to murder someone as he went back to the back and returned with more folders, opening those and throwing them somewhere on the desk. "How long is he supposed to work today?"

Daniel looked up at Andy and pointed to a side table, "put the pie there. he can work until he looks tired, so i'll keep an eye on him. not like he's doing anything too strenuous. have someone put up a folding table by his desk, looks like he'll be needing the extra space. actually-" he stood up and took the pie, "i'll take care of this, you get going on that table please and thank you." he walked out to Tim's desk and put the pie directly under his friend's nose, "Eat. one bite and i'll be satisfied."

The liability accountant did as he was told and set the pie down. "I guess it's not too strenuous, but he gets really into his work I forgot that." and moved out of the way as Daniel took the pie. "All right. I'll go get his table." and walked out behind him, turning down the walkway. Tim's head flinched back as the pie was placed in front of him, glancing at it before up at his boss. He looked around for his fork, finding it under a few opened folders and dug his fork into it, taking a bite. "I'm still eating it. I asked Andy to hold it at his desk though. Mine's crowded."

Daniel nodded, "i asked him to get you a fold away table to give you more room." he looked over the heaps of files and shook his head, "was it really that bad? you've taken out every file since you left us." he'd thought the accountant they had found was doing a very nice job, but from this pile he might have been wrong. he kept the pie at mouth level while he waited for Andy, hoping Tim would take another bite.

"Oh? You didn't need to." and gave a small chuckle. "No, I only found one bad thing and now I'm extremely worried if it affected the hard-copies as well. I've been going through them quickly to make sure they weren't affected." I've marked, small discrepancies, but I'm sure the other departments noticed it and fixed it. Just some receipts is all."

Daniel sighed in relief, "oh good! i was worried there for a little while since she is working your old job. you're getting paid more, of course." he winked and looked around for Andy, "glad that it's not much, though. don't overwork yourself, you hear? i'll be very vexed if you do."

Tim chuckled. "I'll be sure not to overwork myself, Daniel. I might take a power nap but I won't overwork." "It's heavy." Andy whined, waddling with the fold-out table. He placed it down the and quickly unfolded it. "My arms hurt. That was heavy. You should let normal sized people do that." "Why did you prop a table next to my desk?"

Daniel shook his head, "that's why i said have someone do it, i never told you to go get it yourself, shrimp." he messed with Andy's hair a little, mostly because he knew that doing that much wouldn't make it look any different, and smiled at Tim, "More space, of course!" he plopped the pie down and started moving files over so they could actually see Tim's desk. "have fun and make sure to take that nap. need anything?"

"You told me to get it don't change the blame." he responded just as his hair was ruffled. He waited a couple seconds before smoothing it out, more than a few strands popping back up. "Oh." Tim looked as Daniel and Andy filled up the secondary desk. "That was thoughtful of you. Quick question, though. I was going through my work email and I didn't recognize some names. Did we employ new people?" Well of course they did that's what businesses did. However he'd been gone so long he never attended any welcoming thing.
