Sebastian tilted his head lightly at Cassie. "Woah, here." he said, raising his hand. "I don't speak Spanish, remember?" he explained, laughing softly. "But yes, no telepath can get in my head. Sorry, I thought you knew. My mistake!" he smiled. His smile went to a straight face as she began speaking about multiple abilities. "I suppose that makes sense. I did believe they were the same power, only utilized in a different strength. Emma's power I did recognize as two separate abilities. Yours was somewhat less discernable." He stood as well and made his way to the sink. "Should we test the suggestion?" he asked. "Ask me to do something small and trivial. Using your power of course. Like pick up a fork or something."

"Sorry, bilingual," Cassie answered, dropping her cup in the sink and turning as he made his way towards her. "It is fairly normal for someone who is bilingual to think in a mix of both languages," She sighed, crossing her arms. "And, it isn't like I've ever been all that chatty about powers anyways or at least the finer details. I work on the assumption of that the thought process of most people would be 'I show you mine, you have to show me yours'." She paused realizing her words and said with a laugh, "I mean about powers and indulging details about it."
Cassie leaned back on the counter and closed her eyes considering he just offered to test the suggestion with something small and trivial using her power. The problem with a small experiment was that it wasn't exactly a good test-a better test would be to ask him to do something that was out of the norm, which of course would be unethical, and if her power actually worked against Sebastian would be abuse of her power and if Sebastian actually realized what she did it would be reasonable to be mad...
Opening her eyes, she smirked and said her arms crossed, "I could convince you to pick up a fork without my power... a better test would be to see if I could convince you to do something not in your typical M.O. Then again, the question is how much do you trust me? Of course, I suppose, I could have lied to you up front about my theory on testing my power, which to tell you the truth for the slightest moment I actually considered doing."
She raised an eyebrow and said leaning against the counter, "Guess, I'm not quite as amoral as I think I am... Anyways, it's up to you, either way. Should we waste our time seeing if a rat will turn a corner to eat cheese or will we actually do a proper experiment? Sebastian nodded. "Out of the normal." he thought for a few minutes, his mind racing. He chuckled slightly when she spoke about the "show you mine, show me yours" thing. He ran through several scenarios, each ending in a horrible outcome and he didn't like it. He placed his cup in the sink and began to rinse it. He began to mutter to himself different things she could say that he wouldn't normally do, yet wouldn't end in harm for someone. He finished his dish and looked back at her. "How about..." he started, gaining confidence. "What if you asked me not to speak to any of my classes today. You know how I like to talk." he said with a wink.

Cassie watched as Sebastian considered her suggestion. She rolled her eyes and muttered, "Aburrido..." before speaking up, "besides who am I to deny young minds the opportunity to learn? I was joking about taking over your classes today."
She tapped her fingers on her arm as she thought with a slight frown and then said, "Ah ha, I got it! One embarrassing question I can order you to tell me the answer to that you wouldn't answer me normally. If my power doesn't work you don't have to answer if my power works I get an answer."
She held up a single finger and smiled innocently, "One question that worse case scenario you would have to answer. Much quicker than waiting till classes started and your students won't miss out on what is no doubt exciting lectures. Harmless enough, yes?"

Sebastian shrugged. He smiled and looked at her innocent smile, which he was certain was anything but innocent. He pondered a moment. Nothing to lose, and for the sake of science, he accepted by nodding his head. "Le's do it." He placed his hands behind his back and clasped them. He leaned forward slightly, his face not far from hers.

Cassie smiled when Sebastian nodded accepting her terms having more or less already decided on her question when suddenly he leaned forward and she realized he was much closer than she had expected. It wasn't like he had to be that close for eye contact to work, she thought a bit irritated, wishing for once in probably a long time for it to be a bit darker as she felt her cheeks burn some.
Narrowing her green eyes behind the red frames of the glasses she had chosen she changed her question as she held eye contact with him and focused, "Bluntly tell me after fifteen seconds, Sebastian Arkain, exactly your objective and intentions in flirting with me." Breaking eye contact, Cassie added with a chuckle as she counted down the seconds, "I mean because if I was actually one of your students or if you do act this way with your other students it would be highly inappropriate."
Glancing back at him she crossed her arms and raised a brow as the last few seconds of her imposed time limit ended: so, it would be now or never to see if her power actually worked against him. Honestly after what she followed up and said, it would be unreasonable for him not to say something, but if her power worked... well his answer whatever it was going to be wasn't going to be he wasn't going to be particularly tactful about it.

Sebastian remained composed, however the question had caught him off guard and made him lean back. Why had he been flirting with her? It wasn't like he flirted with anyone else. Most of the people his age were students, so of course that was inappropriate. But he didn't really flirt with anyone else outside of the school. So why indeed had he flirted with Cassandra? The seconds ticked by. 4... 3... 2... Well maybe I'll find out why too. he thought during the last second.
Tick.
There went the last second. No words came from Sebastian's mouth. He shrugged. "Well that answers one question." he said, a slight distaste in his mouth. "As for flirting with you, I don't know. Honestly and whole-heartedly, I don't know. It just happens when I'm around you." He turned away and placed his hands on the back of a chair. He leaned his weight onto it. "I'm sorry. I just don't know." He shook his head as he bit his lower lip. He swallowed hard a breathed out. "I just... don't." he mumbled, more to himself as a reprimand for not knowing something.

Cassie crossed her arms and stared as no answer came. At first she was unsure if she had miscounted the seconds when Sebastian finally spoke his first words were 'well that answers one question'. She closed her eyes as she listened to his stumbled over answer and his admittance that he honestly didn't know.
"I generally wouldn't care," She said her voice tinged with annoyance as she walked across the kitchen, her arms crossed still and her back to him. "It's not like I've ever seriously considered being involved with anyone, especially considering my power, but I'm not technically asexual."
Turning around she said her expression unreadable, "If you're serious about it fine-my power doesn't work on you apparently and it isn't like I'm one of your students and we are more or less the same age and both technically adults so it isn't a big deal I suppose. I mean, I don't really care either way in that case. However, if you aren't serious: well, quit it."

Sebastian turned and looked at Cassie. Even with his mutated eyes, he couldn't read her expression. However, her voice was evidence enough that she was annoyed with his answer. "Well I don't think I can deny," he started, "That I have some form of attraction to you that isn't from your power. At least Dean, Emma, and Scott all say I do. So what if my flirting is serious?" he said crossing his arms as well. "What do we do then?"

The little fox, Felicia suddenly jolted at the dream. A bump could be heard from a comfy chair near the kitchen just as Sebastian asked his question. The little fox came out from under the chair with her fur all frazzled. Half asleep, unaware of the others' presence, she shifted into her human form with her Xmen uniform on and grabbed and ice pack for her head. The only thing she could remember from the dream was, "What does the fox say?...Really?"

Cassie raised a brow in surprise to find out that Dean, Emma, and Scott were all more or less meddling where she more or less felt they shouldn't-though, she supposed, they would sort of see themselves as her guardians of sort and she hadn't been an adult that long... though, Sebastian wasn't exactly that much older than her, shouldn't she have gotten some kind of lecture, too? Oh, right, she did, just more general.
"If that is the case then like I said it is fine and it isn't a big deal I suppose and I did say I don't really care either way in that case," She said with a shrug. "And, don't get me involved in questions that you should be asking yourself..." She said with a uncomfortable laugh, referring to his question 'what do we do then?'
Suddenly she paused as Felicia, half asleep entered the kitchen and opened the freezer and got an ice-pack for her head. Cassie smiled a bit awkwardly as the conversation between her and Sebastian wasn't exactly the most normal to walk in on, but then again Felicia looked half asleep. She glanced at Sebastian and said, taking advantage of the fact that Felicia looked pretty ignorant of what she walked in on, "I'll go along with more or less anything, Sebastian. It's up to you on that matter."
Shrugging, Cassie added pointing to Felicia, "And, we totally need to get Felicia her own wardrobe. Maybe I'll do some online shopping today. Wonder what my budget would be..." Cassie tapped Felicia on the shoulder and said brightly to her, "¡Buenos días! What's up with the ice-pack, little one?"Location: Kitchen in Xavier Mansion Wearing: Pajamas

"Oh, good morning, I'm sorry I didn't know anyone else was here… I was sleeping under a chair in my fox form and was having a crazy dream. My human form and my guardian form were arguing and I was looking up to them in my fox form. I suppose it was another argument about who's in control. Then at one point they turned to me and asked 'What does the fox say?'" like I was some sort of tie breaker, that startled me and I woke up with a bump on my head."

"Wouldn't sleeping in a bed be more comfortable?" Cassie asked. "I mean you have your own room... and if you don't like it you could always sleep with me," she added with a smile, joking.
"Alright, you probably would rather your own room and bed, right? I mean I do keep the light always on," Cassie added with a smile before picking up her orange juice from the table and taking a drink. "Anyways, I think only Sebastian and I are up at the moment... it is pretty early. Don't worry about not realizing we were here. "Yeah the bed is really comfortable... but at some odd hour the fox in me really just wants to run around. That's why I was in my fox form under the chair. For some reason I really think it's a cozy spot to settle the rest of the night." She shrugged a little. "Thanks for the offer but I'd prefer to have my own room... it's nice not having curtains as your wall. That was how everything was divided up in the cabin." she frowned a little as she mentioned that. "Thanks for offering the coffee but, that's not my thing, I get too wired with that stuff plus I don't like the taste cat_xp ... I'm not in the mood to eating anything at the moment..." she yawned a little, "it's way too early. cat_sweatdrop "
