Lazing around the rest of the summer with the promise of good cuisine sounded good to Barth. He danced quietly with Calder until the end of the song. The other dancers were dissipating, and Barth was increasingly reluctant to standing any longer than he had to.
He leaned back, releasing Calder with a gradual bow, and giving his knuckles a brushing, whiskery kiss. He also used the dip to cover a yawn.
"Thank you for the dance," he said, half-straightening again. "....Enjoy the rest of your date. And err, your summer vacation, if we don't see each other between then and now."

Calder covered a smile with his free hand as Barth's chin hairs brushed against his knuckles and kissed them, finding it all very suave and very much the picture of a gentleman, before he wished him the best. He nodded, and nodded back, giving him a little wave goodbye. "Then I'll see you later this summer and send you letters. I hope I can see you before I go, but do enjoy your summer if I can't. Till then, Barth." And with that, his yawning friend made his way away...slowly.
Calder turned and walked back to his table, sitting down slowly and wondering if he'd be in more trouble for the dance or not. Either way, the prom was coming to a close all too soon. He had hoped for another dance with Invictus. "The dance is winding down." He commented, looking about.
