"You don't seem to understand. This is going to be a half-vampire baby. I have zero experience delivering a baby, much less one that's half-vampire. I don't want to think about what's going to happen if I try delivering it without the items listed." Riley said holding Mala's shoulders and looking her in the eye as if it this were a life or death situation. Which it very well might have been for all he knew. "I'll take up every job we come across, no matter what it is, I just don't want to be delivering a half-vampire baby unprepared."

"Very well." Mala said, for the first time in what felt like a long time holding that proud and motherly smile as she ruffled his hair. "I'll go buy everything needed, what's on this list and what's on mine." she said, dissappearing into the isles before long. Before too long, she had everything she needed in a magically hovering cart, from the map mentioned to the amulet that lead to the small alternate-dimensional home to everything on Angel's list. She was even able to find herself two more outfits - they looked comfortable and somewhat less revealing. She bought everything in the cart, the overall cost leaving her with barely one hundred gold left. "I've only one hundred gold left. It should last us a little while, but you'll both need to help out with funding from now on if we don't want to be completely broke."

"Well, my TARDIS went through something odd," the Librarian said cheerily. "And I'm sure it's a perfectly lovely place." She looked at the books again, scanning through three quickly. "They have nice stories, at any rate."
She bit her lip, then muttered, "If I'm going off the cliff with you, baby, might as well jump off. I'll show you just how high a vampire bite can get you." She pulled the dress off.

"Maybe if we're lucky we'll find more kung-fu masters to escort." Riley joked as he tried to un-mess his hair from Mala's ruffling.
"Either that, or more dumbass bandits to profit off their stupidity." Van said with a smirk. For two years, it had just been him and Riley doing odd jobs for random villagers to make a little cash along the way and wind up with funny stories for later. It was going to be fun doing the same with Mala once again, back before she fell into her fortune as a magic student.

"Wow..." Rincewind said, his fingertips running over the now-sensitive (and slightly erogenous) area where he had been bitten on his neck.
"I've seen people covered in fecal matter! There are public baths! This is not a clean place!" The Recorder nearly screamed.

"Nice stories." She pointed. It was obvious what was more important to her.
"Yeah." She sighed, kissing him.

Mala chuckled. "Who knows? Maybe you'll find something even funnier than that." she said with much optomism. After purchases were made, she got about four rings and handed one to Riley and Van while putting on one herself. The last would be for Angel. Of course, since Mala had the amulet, she'd give her ring to the baby after it was born. "These rings will help us get into the alternate dimensional home I got us. It has four bedrooms, a kitchen, one bathroom, and a small living area. That should be enough for us - shouldn't it?" she asked calmly. "This was the most expensive things I got; however, we won't have to worry about buying rooms at inns constantly if we don't want to."

"I've made dozens of copies of every volume in this library! I've been here centuries! I think that the stories are slightly unimportant! I could recite all of them for you, if I wanted to!" It was clear that the Recorder was becoming slightly hysterical at this point. "I just want to go home!" he exclaimed.

"One, two, three....Wait, that seems like one too many rooms, don't you think?" Riley said. "I mean, you know how Angel is. We all know she's going to expect me to be rooming with her." he said rather flatly. "You two are of course going to sleep together. One room for the baby I guess. Which leaves a room no one's going to use. They didn't have a three bedroom dimension instead?"

"Not really. But still, it's better to have the extra room just in case something happens." Mala said, probably suggesting that Riley might somehow ending up knocking up Angel again - or less possibly - that Van and Mala might end up with a little one on the way eventually if her sterility could be somehow fixed. She highly doubted it would, however.

The Librarian gave a little shrug. "Even if I knew how, my TARDIS is broken. Most of my technology won't even work here... I just thank London the sonic screwdriver does, and the psychic paper isn't really technology in the strictest sense."

"Better safe than sorry I suppose." Van said. "Already got the rest of the stuff shoved away in the magic bag?" he asked Mala as he admired the ring on his finger.

"For now. I'll get everything out for Riley once we go get Angel." Mala said, nodding slightly. "I'll keep the amulet - since it now reccognises me as the proper owner. The rings are to show that you are tenets of mine - also living with me. The two rings I've got with me will be for Angel and the child."

"I still can't believe this is happening..." Riley groaned as he slipped his ring on, the back of his mind thinking he was going to get possessed right away, thankfully to no avail.

"Well it is. Also, as a fair warning, I'm not sure if it came with beds or not. If not, we may have to use our sleeping bags until we can afford proper bedding." Mala then went on, wanting to get everything out in the open about the house before she forgot.
