After who knows how many minutes of staring at the water stained ceiling, Victoria fell had fallen aleep. She awoke suddently and leaned up in her bed to take a look around. "Still the same." Obviously there was no change around her room except for the now ravenous rumbling of her stomach. Cluthing her gut uneasily, she left her room for the second time today and set out in search of nourishment.

"Hey," She said and leaned her head down to catch his downward gaze, "There's nothing to be sorry about. You had no more control over this than any of the others... This all was one person's fault, and he will answer for his crimes I'm sure Xavier... or somebody will see to that."
"Am I mad about this," She putting to her side and then winced a bit moving it. At least it was going away. Putting a comforting hand on top of his, "No. We went out there with one purpose, to bring you all back. We knew the risks and it didn't matter. I knew what I was doing taking on Rage myself."
"I could have killed you... there were others too..." He said and looked up.
She closed her eyes for a moment. That was one thing she had worried about, getting there too late before they could stop their friends from killing anybody. How many of them were going to have to live with this on their chest? The idea of your hands killing and your mind not being able to stop it.
"Rage wasn't you... I don't know... I can talk all I want, this thing didn't happen to me. I'm not dead. You didn't kill me, to me... there's no point in dwelling... but I'm a live today kinda person..." She pulled herself up from the chair and grabbed the back of her oh so stylish hospital gown so the world wouldn't see her rear end at the moment.
"Goddamn that's cold," She said sitting on the table with Jacen. A nurse came in and removed the IV from her arm and one from Jacen. Penny flexed her arm and watched the needle mark start to disappear feeling a bit guilty about the whole healing thing.
"Come on, let's get the hell out of here," She looked around at the room, "I hate the infirmary. I'd rather keep talking in the comfort of my own room... or any other room in the house that's not this one... Hey, do you want to go to the beach? Regina won some thing and we got a house for a few weeks... you look like you can use a vacation."

After being released from the infirmary having realized he was essentially undamage, physically anyways, Blair wandered through the mansion.
"What is this place...?" He wondered outloud when he reached a living room, of sorts.
He sat down on the couch and thought about the people he had met. Porter. Images of him being attacked and flung through the hotel. Regina. He winced, waiting for flashbacks to occur....nothing. Teagan. Images of her being placed into a chair and transformed into something other than herself. Images of her killing mutants. It was too much, Blair clutched his head and flopped onto the couch.
"....too much....all my fault..." And he began to weep for the mutants he had killed and harmed.

"Oh don't worry about his evil eye on me," explained Freya as she stood up with Regina's help. "I know he's a big teddy bear but he's still mad at me for entering his room."
"You bet I am, blondie. I hate people sneaking in my room and look at my stuff," he said angrily and shaking his cigar to somehow dry it.
"Well Regina, since I know that you like to argue with little man here, I'll take a look around."
"It better not be a ruse to leave the institute. You're wounded," said Logan.
Freya just waved her hand in the air as she walked away. She wished she could talk to him about Alpha Flight but there was other matters at hand here. She peeked into Jacen's and Penance's room and saw them have a heart to heart talk. "Ooops. Sorry. Keep flirting you two. You're so cute." She quickly left to avoid any flying objects coming her way.
But when she saw Blair in his room, something hit her: not all of them are going to recover well from this experience. That made her heart squeezed in her chest.

"And. So. It. Took. You. A. Whole. Year. To. Get. Here?" asked Pietro, finally replacing the last of his damaged goods right after the word "here". He surveyed the room, and rolled his eyes a bit at the thought of his dad dumping yet another mutant drifter on their doorstep. "Well, if you got dad's support then I guess you're welcome here, and Pyro will welcome you too once he hears about that," Pietro said, a bit more distracted in making his room look good than he was in actually meeting his new guest. He still didn't bother asking her name yet.
On his way out for one last trip, this time to grab som accessories he'd been meaning to steal now anyway, he couldn't help but notice out of the corner of his eye that Wanda had retreated to a bush with her present, and if he didn't know better, he could swear she was crying. He stopped running, pausing for a few seconds which felt like an eternity with his metabolism shot up as high as it was at the moment. He searched himself for something to say, but nothing came. He couldn't even bring himself to walk over there, because if Wanda really was crying, he would have to see her as his sister and best friend once more. And he couldn't handle that at the moment.
An instant later he arrived back in his room, the girl still there. "I think I'd rather be alone at the moment," he muttered, trying to sound annoyed instead of hurt.

Unaware her brother saw her, Wanda allowed herself to cry a bit. Just a few tears rolling down her cheeks and a sad expression was enough for her to lift some kind of burden off her chest.
When was the last time she cried? It was when her father abandonned her. She didn't understand and the situation didn't change today. But to survive in a hard environment, she had to become stronger. Sadness was replaced by anger. Anger gave birth to revenge.
She stood up and gently brushed her tears away. She was still holding the small chocolate box. Did Pietro steal it? Probably she thought.
"If Freya was here, she could help me. I don't know what to do with that silly brother of mine," she said to herself out loud before throwing the box in the trash. She kept the ribbon that was around it and put it in her pockets.

Noko had long gotten bored and had shifted herself into the form of a fuzzy black persian kitten. It wasnt her usual form though this one got lots of attention and treats. Though it took no time for someone to slip a pink ribbon on her and make her stick in that form. ~ damn idiots!~ she thought to herself looking for someway to get rid of the offending ribbon. wandering around she mewed slightly and sat down in the yard. Looking around she spotted wanda but decided to stay away for fear of being punted into a tree for annoying her. particularly it since it looked like she had been crying. But what good were kittens if they couldnt cheer anyone up? Walking over to wanda she stopped at her feet and meowed pathetically.

Wanda blinked at the kitten. "What are you doing here? With a pink ribbon nonetheless," she asked with a disgusted face. She liked bloody red. Pink was for little girls.
She carefully grabbed the kitten like it was a curious beast. "You remind me of someone..." She narrowed her eyes at the kitten.

" MURFF" came out as she was scooped up mercilicly. ~ oh great. Im a dead cat ~ she thought to herself. noko looked wanda deep in the eyes hoping shed realize what the problem was. Of course her kitten stare prolly came across as something akin to " you will feed me now. "

"This pink ribbon doesn't suit you at all," said Wanda. She removed it and threw it to the garbage. "You must feel better now. I hate collars too. You can be too easily strangled with them." She put the kitten down. "Now run to your mom. I have other things to do."

As soon as she was set down on the ground she shifted. " bloody idiots!" she yelled twords the house. " They know theres a shifter around here!" looking up at wanda she held a sheepish grin. " I cant shift if theres something round my neck. I dont like the idea of being decapitated or strangled to death. "

Wanda just stared down at Noko. "A shifter?" She couldn't help but grin some. "This is Sailor Moon typic. The cat can't talk unless you remove the bandage from her crescent moon on her forehead."
"Sailor Moon...?" asked Noko.
The scarlet witch slapped her forehead and sighed. "Forget it. It's just...Freya's influence on me. She thinks watching girls in mini skirts to save the world with the power of friendship is interesting. I prefer to watch Baywatch anytime than this," she finished with a pouting face.

Regina shook her head. She did like arguing with Logan, but right then she had better things to do.
"Hey Freya? Would you consider coming with us to a beach for a week? Wanda is invited too." Regina called after Freya, hoping that she wasn't so far that she couldn't hear her. "The more the better. I think we'll try to go over the 15 person limit..."
While she thought this, she also wondered about room assignments... She was new to dating, so she was positive that Porter wasn't going to share a room with her. Penny? That'd be a good roommate, of course. Maybe Gen would like to hang out in their room...

Noko shook her head. " Baywatch..i havnt seen that in ages. " she mused. Looking up at wanda she debated on asking her something and finally decided. " I know i didnt really give you a chance to answer, i just sorta decided you would go but you will come to the beachhouse with us right? "

Courtney needed to dance. Or more so, she needed to party. She threw her cigarette away onto the dead, brown grass and stood, putting the matchbook into her purse. There had to be one member of the house that liked to party. Sure, they were all (most, at least) punk freaks that probably wrote poetry in their trapper-keepers, but someone had to enjoy what she did. Corky twisted a lock of hair around her finger and made her way from the back of the house to the front, looking for someone.
Christ, whatt was her name? There was that butch girl that was on the warpath, and the one that introduced herself. N-something...Naima, Natalie, Natasha. Noko. That was it. Noko. She held her head high and walked over, praying she wasn't giving off a bitchy vibe. They didn't scare Courtney, but she wasn't gunna go clubbing by herself. She stood back a few feet and rested one hand on her hip. "What are the good places to get shitfaced here?" She asked, like the question was completely normal.
