Sayrike::Train::Sleeping Car-->Dining Car When James laughed again, this time she knew it wasn't because of something embarrassing act she had committed, but rather due to her conversation and demeanor. Claiming the top bunk like that had been a really kiddie move on her part, but that's how Sayrike was, and she knew it. One time her friend had called her childlike wonder and behavior endearing. She smiled. It already seemed like the gap between her and James was closing, a fact that she relished inside. Sayrike easily kept pace with James, her hands clasped and resting in front. She probably really did resemble a maid at this point. She listened well as the man relayed his story and quietly enjoyed his tale. Most of all, Sayrike loved hearing stories--whether they were folk tales, daily events, or anecdotes, she devoured them all. That didn't mean she remembered them very well, but all the same it was simply enough for her to listen. It's why she was so interested in anthropology. Every person, every group, every culture had their own tale to tell, and no two were ever the same. Even a single person's memory could vary from one day to the next. Storytelling was most likely the main reason for Sayrike's bouts of loquaciousness, since she too wanted to talk about both herself and the stories of others. Knowledge and experience were not things to keep hidden, but instead shared, and unconsciously Sasyrike carried out this belief with each account she narrated. With James telling her more about himself, Sayrike also began to be slightly more talkative and less of the aloof and proper woman she usually first presented. After James finished, Sayrike had to ask, "Oh? You're married? To whom? Is she here on this train? You're really lucky to have your wife here with you, considering..." But Sayrike trailed off, not knowing if she was treading into dangerous territory. Other people might be sensitive about the fact that they hadn't seen their family for 6 days and had no idea where they were or what had happened to them or believing them to be dead. She cleared her throat. "Er, but may I ask who the Enchantress is? As in, the one who originally put a spell on the Beast's castle? It's not like we ever see her in the movie. I wonder what she looks like when she's not an image in stained glass.
"And evil replicas? Like clones? Now that's pretty futuristic." She giggled. "Evil clones. That kind of borders on the cliche, doesn't it?" But Sayrike felt that she was maybe making fun of history was a little too fresh, and she instantly sobered up. "Sorry, I don't mean to make light of a grim situation. Everything still seems very...storybook to me. I can't take very many things here seriously, but then again I never could.
"And don't worry, it's not too much information. I mean, I might need to be reminded two or three more times about what you told me, but I love hearing about what your group has been through. You'll have to tell me the details sometime. So, let me get this straight: you started out at Mickey's Castle. Or do you mean one of the castles from Disneyland? And then you went to Agrabah, Narnia, Halloween Town-slash-Beast's Castle, and then just stopped for a breath of fresh air in Port Royal? All in just a few days? Aren't you exhausted by now?" By this point, they were almost back into the Lounge Car, but Sayrike had to request one more thing, again indulging her endless curiosity. "Ummm...could I possibly see the cupboards?" she asked, taking a step towards them and pointing. "It just sounds so...well, unreal. I mean, refilling themselves and all."

{James : Train : Dining Car}
James was relieved to hear that she had been able to keep up with his story, at least that she claimed it wasn't too much information. Even though he knew it wasn't all of it, someday he would remember to share the rest of the information with her. As she asked a few questions he turned his attention back to her and smiled.
"Yeah, I'm married." He said raising his left hand, and showing her the titanium band with the roman numerals I-XII on it. "Her name is Michelle, and she used to be, she was never much of a fighter though... and when we lost one of our allies, she left. She returned to Mickey's Castle, where we had both started. I miss her... but it is a comfort to know that she is safe." He finished, clutching the costume piece of aztec gold around his neck, with his left hand. Her birthday gift to him a few days ago.
He leaned his back against one of the walls as he thought for a minute regarding her other questions.
"Yeah, The one who put the spell on Beast's Castle in the first place, as for our replicas... I suppose it is cliche, that doesn't make them any less dangerous. Especially when they choose to take the form of a demon of the past..." The slight humor in James' voice at her "cliche" comment had vanished.
"They wield different versions of our weapons, and have our exact same powers only amplified to dangerous extremes. Kyle's banish spell, which typically could knock you back a few feet, in his replica Ajora's hands blew Kyle clear out of the burning lab and into a wall." James concluded, his grip on the necklace tightened.
He shook slightly, remembering all too clearly the havoc that the replicas had wreaked upon both of their previous visits. The memories... the pain, it was all very fresh in his memory. He placed a hand against the counter to steady himself and drew in a ragged breath, as if he could still feel the pain. When he looked up at her again, he had calmed down.
"Sorry if I scared you, it wasn't my intent. I don't want you under-estimating them, it would be a big mistake to make. Anyway, yeah that's basically the story. We started out at Disney's Castle, and now we're here. Though certainly not for a breath of fresh air, we're here to help Calypso, King Triton, and the King of Atlantis. Our work is just beginning. How we're not all exhausted by now, I have no idea. We get chances to rest and sleep when we can, and that's good enough." He finished, a small smile back on his face.
That came to her final request, to see the cupboards, and to that the corsair chuckled lightly.
"Sure, over here. What do you want?" He asked, as he pushed himself off of the wall.
Moving at his normal pace now, which was easily three times faster then the pace they had moved at to get back here he quickly closed the distance between himself and the cupboards.
"All you need to do is think of what you want, say Pocky for example." He said as he thought about it, and opened the cupboard and sure enough, in the cupboards was boxes of pocky, one of which he grabbed.
"Just like that." He finished, closing the cupboard and turning back to her with a smile.

Sayrike::Train: biggrin ining Car Sayrike smiled warmly as James talked about his wife. It was always nice to watch someone as they talked about their loved one. But she was slightly troubled about something James said... And then he began to talk about the replicas. Sayrike visibly winced. So, it really was a touchy subject. She made a mental note not to bring it up again unless she had to. These enemies sounded very strong and with little remorse. If she had known James a lot better, she would have put a comforting hand over his arm, but seeing as they had just met she refrained. Instead, all she could do was reassure in a soft voice, "Don't worry. I try to never underestimate anyone. I'll be careful." But she made a mental note to ask someone what James meant by "when we lost one of our allies." Considering the soft spot she had already brought up, it wouldn't have been wise to ask about that just yet. She was glad she had asked about the cupboards. They were an intentional conversation buffer against any sadness she might have incurred by her questions. Well, that, and she really wanted to see them in action. Walking cautiously up to one of them, she rested her hand on the wood, feeling nothing particularly special. Sayrike tried not to picture the scene from The Tenth Kingdom when Tony had a fridge which doubled the amount of beer bottles when he opened it, lest the entire train and its occupants be swimming in beer in the next two seconds. Oh, man, what do I want to eat right now?...a cookie. A chocolate chip cookie. She opened the door, and lo and behold, there it was! Sayrike's eyes and mouth simultaneously grew wide. "WOOOOOOW. That's AMAZING! OH MY GOSH." She reached out and picked it up. It was solid and at the perfect consistency. "This is way too cool, do you realize that? This is really, truly wizardry." It wasn't the train that was bigger on the inside, it wasn't the flying weapons and illusions and clones, and it wasn't the appearance of a bunch of fictional characters that rocked Sayrike's world; it was a chocolate chip cookie from a spelled cupboard. The taste was everything she hoped it'd be, too. "Mmmm!" she groaned enthusiastically. "Now that's magic."

{James : Train : Dining Car}
James nodded his head in understanding and relief as Sayrike said that she would not underestimate the replicas, and that she would be careful. He was glad that she had taken his words seriously. He cheered up even more, even laughed at her reaction as she tried the cupboard for herself.
"Yeah, it is pretty cool. Never really gave it that much thought though." James replied with a smile, seemingly back to his normal self.
"So you wanted to get back to the rest of the group in the Lounge Car right?" He asked, moving back towards the door. "By the way, what sort of weapon do you have?"

Sayrike::Train: biggrin ining Car-->Lounge Car "How could you not wonder about the mechanics of this cupboard?" Sayrike exclaimed. "Haha, I'm the type of person who has to know about everything. Even if I don't totally understand the details, I want to find out anyway." She began to rattle off questions, though not to James in particular. "I wonder if you can only conjure up dry goods? What about drinks, either cold or hot? I mean, I see that there's a fridge, but could you do it anyway? Or what about full-on meals? But then, if that were true, you wouldn't need Captain Silver to cook, would you? Or is that just because cooked meals are better? What about bottles of room temperature water? What about fruit? Where would you get that?" Sayrike's thoughts raced as she began to really think about the extent of the magic of the cupboard and its rules. She wondered if there was someone she could ask about it. But, before returning to the Lounge Car, she had to watch the cupboard perform one more trick. She closed her eyes and thought about a specific Korean snack she liked called something like "gwonbingee." She could never remember Korean names, unfortunately, and her friend would be laughing her butt off if she heard the name bastardized in such a way. But she did recall the English on the purple bag, which read, "Honey Flavored Twist Snack." The bag wasn't important, though, as she recalled the sweet honey flavor and the satisfying crunch of the hard cracker. Opening it up, she found exactly what she had been looking for. Once again Sayrike was in awe, and she popped open the bag and tried one. It was just as she remembered. "Sorry to keep you waiting!" Sayrike said as she ran to catch up to James, and together they walked back into the Lounge Car. They hadn't been gone for more than five minutes. But, since all her thought had been focused on the cupboard and its properties, she didn't really notice James had said anything to her specifically and was only vaguely aware that he spoken at all. When they got back into the first car, it was hard for her to hear over the enormous noise the snack made in her head as she masticated, though it wouldn't have been too loud for others to hear. Sayrike relished the burst of flavor; she hadn't eaten anything healthy or substantial since her arrival, leaving her famished. The honey-flavored sticks of cracker hardly held either of these qualities, but Sayrike knew it would be rude to try and eat something akin to a meal without anyone else. In addition, she didn't want to make the others wait any longer. Oh, before I forget. Sayrike took a break from the bag of food and turned to James. "Thank you so much, James, for helping me to the Sleeping Car! I really appreciate it," she grinned. She looked for Sora, and upon finding him, she walked up and said, "Sorry for that. But I have a free hand now, so I can take that sphere, or...sorry, I forgot what it was called." She truly seemed to apologize a lot around new people.

[ Kyle ; Sora : Port Royal : Lounge Car ]
"We're currently heading to Tortuga, and we'll have to wait to see what's going on there before planning what comes next," Kyle quickly replied to Auron, caught off-guard by the sudden sound of his gruff voice. Blinking a few times as Sayrike and James interacted, he seemed to be nibbling on his thumb nail; he was lost in a train of thought. At that point, Jacob's question broke into his reverie. "Yeah, there's some stuff in the Dining Car just next to this one. If you can't find what you're looking for, as Silver, he's probably sitting in one of the booths."
What was their plan? They were going to Tortuga, try to find as much information as possible about any strange occurrences, and take a ship to Tia Dalma- Calypso. She was one of the three Wise Ones they had to send back to Disney Castle from this region. But could they just send her immediately? No... no, Kyle had an anxious feeling in his stomach; with their luck, they'd have to stay throughout the story... throughout "At World's End".
But things would be different. They had Atlantica and Atlantis to worry about. The fact is, all three of them were in the same region... it was inevitable that things would somehow clash. Would the Atlanteans and the Merfolk help? Or would they be too busy with their own problems? And how could they help so many people at once? They simply didn't have the man power...
"Alright!" Sora said, bounding over toward Sayrike with the open bag. There was an eagerness in his eyes- he was always curious about how each person would change with their clothes, which summon they would get. He was a bit jealous, sure, but that was outweighed by the excitement of being able to fight alongside them.
[ Silver ; Kuja : Dining Car ]
Silver couldn't help but chortle after the young girl walked out after James. "Girl's actin' loike she nevah seen magic before," Silver said, sipping from his mug before glancing back at Kuja, who (once again) was looking at his reflection in the window, trying to make sure everything was just so.
"Amateurs," Kuja muttered off-handedly in response, throwing a lock of his silver hair over his shoulder.

[ Billy : Angel Grove : Coast -> The Command Center ]
"Alright, well, if that's that-"
Billy pressed a few buttons on his wrist communicator, and before they knew it, everyone simultaneously flashed the same color as their Power Suit, and the world around them vanished.
The sight before them was automatically replaced with one far more technologically advanced. They'd been teleported into the center of the Command Center. All around them were computers, monitors, and strange plasma tubes; directly in front of them, at the head of the room, was none other than Zordon himself: a translucent human head of pure energy, kept inside a particularly large plasma tube. The Red Rose, which had also been transported, could no longer be seen; it had been teleported into the Hangar Bay."Greetings new Rangers!" spoke an oddly-cheerful robotic voice near one of the control panels. There stood Alpha, the android aid of Zordon and ally to the Power Rangers. "I am Alpha 5! I'm so happy to meet you!""Hey there, Alpha," Billy said with a grin, walking over by the panel he droid was currently at, peering over Alpha's shoulders at the computer monitors. "Any word on Ooze? He hasn't made any moves, has he?""No sir! The scanners haven't been able to find any definite source of Ivan Ooze!" Alpha said, looking up to Billy as the lights on his saucer-like head began to light up. "However, the nega-waves have been fluctuating quite a bit over in the volcano, and Zordon thinks that's just where he is!"

{James : Train : Dining Car -> Lounge Car}
James stopped by the door and couldn't help but laugh as Sayrike went on a total rant of questions, none of which he could really answer, nor did he think she intended for him to answer either. It seemed her moment of excitement though had completely tuned out his question regarding her weapon. It didn't really matter though, he would find out soon enough what her weapon was, and what she was capable of. She then apologized and rushed over to him and they walked back into the Lounge Car just as Kyle was telling their course of action to Auron. Before Sayrike talked to Sora she turned her attention back to him with a grin and thanked him.
"No problem, happy to help." He replied with a smile of his own.
He then moved over to one of the seats and sat down, curious as to what the two new members dress spheres would look like. He still remembered when his was activated, how it went off like a bomb in his hand, revealing his pirate attire.

Jacob ll Train ll Lounge > Dining
"Well then..." Jacob said as he slowly pushed himself up off his seat, his joints and spine popping rhythmically. "See y'all later!" He maneuvered his way around Sayrike, Sora, and James, nodding as he passed. It was a little difficult seeing as how all three pretty much cluttered the doorway, but Jacob sucked it in and closed the door behind him. "Fooooooood.....Blue Jester NEEDS FOOD BADLY." He dove to the cupboard almost praying that there was fruit inside, although he knew very very that fruit belonged in the sunlight so that it can ripen. He thrust the doors open and piles and piles of fruit were inside, all his favorite. He threw a few pears and kiwis, a banana, three large peaches, and a crimson apple on the nearest table before he closed the doors.
He devoured all the fruits in front of him, rending delicious, succulent meat from fruit flesh. He then turned to the pears and apple, which glinted in the soft light. It was a beautiful sight to behold: their exteriors perfect in color, size, and shape. Then it was quickly ruined by Jacob. He picked up the scraps and skins of his fruit and but it in the trash before washing his hands and mouth out with water. "Such good fruit...Words cannot....Should've sent a poet." He sat back on his seat rubbing his fully belly, eyes closed.

[Amy ; Cloud : Angel Grove : Command Center]
Head count. Everyone was here, aside from the two they had been forced to leave behind. Cloud didn't ask to be brought to this place, and would have preferred to wait with Axel and Seymour, anticipating Kyle and Alan's safe return. Things don't always turn out the way you wanted them to.
There was an annoying robot addressing them all. Cloud ignored him, walking around the circular room to stand before a giant face. He was reminded of Tron, for some reason.
"Are you Zordon?" he asked, not intending to be rude. He would like to get to the point of their coming here, and he'd seen Leon do it often enough to know how. It was simple. The next step was to ask if this giant projected head had been visited by a royal mouse.
Amy appeared in the Command Center in a flash of pink, in between Kyla and Kichi for some reason. She nudged them both in the rib cage with her elbows. "It's the guy from the Wizard of Oz," she whispered.

[Jenny :: Train :: Lounge Car]
Jenny's mind was drifting as the new people were shown about the train, she absentmindedly spun her cup on the table to watch the contents inside form a mild tornado. She had down it billions of times, much to her mom's dismay when she was at home. Now there was no one to scold her, not that she was a masochist... but she wouldn't mind having her mom suddenly turn her head from the stove to furrow her brows and to snatch at the cup.
The mage sighed right as Sayrike and James returned back to the Lounge Car. Jenny shoved her thoughts away, a person with too much time to think was self-destructive.
She turned to eye the sphere in Sayrike's hand, happy to find something else to occupy her mind. Jenny had to admit, she was highly curious as to how Sayrike's outfit would spin itself out. When she got her dress sphere, everyone's kind of activated at once so it all turned out to be a hectic display of light. I feel like I should start squinting my eyes as a precautionary measure.

Sayrike::Train::Lounge Car Once again, Sayrike felt like she was the center of attention again. She thought that all of the train's occupants would be talking amongst themselves, ignoring the new people...but it seemed to be the opposite situation, in fact. She almost just wanted to reach inside, grab the sphere, and head back to her room to activate it. I mean, I can be a ham and all, but I think this is a little too much... Worried thoughts raced through her head-- What's supposed to happen anyway? What if it doesn't work? What do I have to do in exchange for this? It's almost like they're making me take this, expecting me to join them, even though I haven't agreed to anything! What if I don't like what happens to my clothes? What kind of expectations does everyone have of me? What if--
Stop it. Sayrike mentally slapped herself silly. Seriously, these past 5 days have really thrown you for a loop, haven't they?
Well, yeah, you tend to do that when your entire reality is put into question and you're running for days on end. It doesn't mean you should begin questioning yourself too. It doesn't matter what the reality is, you are still the same.
But, but...I'm just so tired. It's hard to stay emotionally collected.. Okay, now you're just making up silly excuses that have nothing to do with anything. Just pick up the darn sphere already.
Fine. All eyes are on me, eh? Let's hope this ends up being something good. Let them see what they want to see. Sayrike looked into Sora's bright eyes and gave a small half-grin. She reached inside, feeling only one spherical object in there, and pulled out the hard, smooth object. It was absolutely beautiful. The little ball of glass glittered in the light as colors swirled and danced around each other inside as she held the globe up to her eyes. She could see every color imaginable as they flowed into and out of one another, mixing and blending until it turned a milky white. It was captivating, how it could be all colors and yet one color at the same time. A shot of gold intertwined with dark blue darted past for a split second, startling Sayrike, before she closed her eyes and concentrated on the weight of the glass ball in her palm, rendering the room still and silent. Four plates of clear glass flashed into existence, surrounding Sayrike, but melted away within a few moments, As they faded from sight, everyone who was looking at her would not see Sayrike, but rather themselves in her place. After the glass had disappeared, blinking a few times would restore the image of Sayrike, and they might think it had only been a trick of their eyes since it had lasted for only a second or two. Globe gone from her hand, Sayrike's eyes fluttered open. Instead of the dress, she was now wearing pants with large legs, reminding her of the airiness and freedom of movement of a hakama. She couldn't quite decide if the pants were black or just a very dark blue. On top, she wore a dulled golden tank top. Huh, I've never really worn tank tops before. Feeling a weight in her pocket, she found a golden fob pocket watch on a chain. As she hooked the wind-up watch onto her belt loop, Sayrike grinned. She had always wanted one of these. It would be pretty useless here, she imagined, but pocket watches held good memories for her, and its presence was reassuring. She brushed back a piece of hair that had fallen loose from looking down, and as she touched her face she noticed there was a strange material there. It was a mask! Totally cool! Even her eyes were covered, although she could see just fine. The eye mask didn't feel like anything, and she wouldn't have noticed it if she hadn't felt it with her fingers. It was like a second skin. Sayrike even had black fingerless gloves, something else she had always wanted. She twisted around, checking herself, and thought, Gee, I hope I don't get cold or anything in this...and I'm going to really miss that cloak.. But even as the worry had formed, she felt a bulge in her other pocket. From this, she pulled out (like a magician pulling huge scarves out of a tiny egg) the same exact hooded cloak she had gotten from that man on the pirate ship. She held it close, thankful that it hadn't disappeared along with the rest of the clothes she was wearing before. She had a promise to keep with that man, and she needed the cloak. She draped the thing over her arm and said casually, "Well, thanks for the clothes, Kyle and Sora, It's a lot better than running around in the maid's outfit," trying to not act as fascinated as she really was. She looked around at everyone in the room, realizing that she hadn't introduced herself to the group as a whole. "Sorry, I haven't said my salutations to anyone here yet. I'm Sayrike. Thank you very much for your hospitality! I hope to get to know everyone here a little bit better during my stay." She didn't know if anyone else was going to introduce themselves or if she'd just have to ask people individually later.

{Kyle : The Betting Table}
Kyle was somewhat glad that Cory had jumped above them, as he had been in a terrible position to defend himself had a sword strike come his way. However, Cory didn't just let him off the hook that easily. Following Cory's path with his eyes, he noticed something coming at him, but he couldn't make it out. It looked like something was blurring the air above him, coming at him from Cory...which couldn't be good. Throwing his katars up in an X shape above his head, he tried to protect himself from the blasts. Which he did fairly well on. But the power grew to be too much quickly and his guard was broken before the last of the...whatever they were, had finished. Cuts were all down his shoulders and arms, but they weren't terribly severe. He could still fight. Which was all that mattered.
Shoving his katars into the earth, Kyle pulled them out showing them to be considerably larger in size. He would be a bit slower when attacking, but his hits would be heavier and he would be able to withstand more attacks. Rushing at Cory, he caught the Revblade as it came diagonally at him, then thrust forward with his other katar.

[Cory .:. The Betting Table]
The ronin grinned as Kyle caught his blade and attempted to counter. It was like a blur as the rogue vanished from immediate view, leaving his Revblade behind as he ducked low to the ground and beneath Kyle's counterattack. Cory smiled up at Kyle, knowing full well that physically he was on a different level than both Alan and the terramancer. Cory came up with an uppercut, Indomitable Will covering his fist as he struck at the flat of Kyle's katar.

{Kyle : The Betting Table}
Slamming his katar into the blade, he watched it fly away, landing a bit away before realizing quite what happened. Then his brain caught up with him quite quickly. F***. That was the only thing Kyle could thing as he watched Cory disappear, then appear beneath his katar and started an uppercut, laced with that black and blue fire. Not good. Knowing that he couldn't get away from the attack, he felt relieved that he had at least knocked the blade away from Cory. He would have to retrieve it before continuing the bladed battle.
Wait...he can just summon it back...so...couldn't I just do the same? As soon as Kyle felt the pressure of Cory's fist hit his katar, he withdrew his weapons, spinning with the momentum of Cory's blow then resummoning them while he turned, his dual blades aiming to pierce Cory's chest while he completed his uppercut.
