 Evelyn  Evelyn had been wandering the woods looking for the Overseer for a day now, and was starting to get frustrated. What if he was back in the Temple like last time? That would be embarrassing. With that in mind, Evie headed back for the sanctuary, her pace a bit faster than usual--anxious to get out of the cold. Skipping into the Temple, she looked about for someone to ask about the situation. Emptiness echoed back to her. Shivering, she headed for Lorika's room. After knocking lightly on the door, Evelyn backed away and headed for her Professor's office. This time, she pounded on the door, knowing that it would be the only way to bring the professor out of his experiments.

Evelyn Evelyn's knocking was interrupted as something moved in the corner of her eye. It was a man--only he was walking strangely. Leaving the Professor's door, she approached the man, her hands out to catch him in case he fell.
"Monsieur? Are you well?"

As everyone was leaving panda started to relax. The man at the door was only another fan of lorika's and that feline girl was still there. Other then that things were quieting down, although now his work was nearly doubled in a matter of minutes. He groaned and took another potion inventory. Once that was finished he sat back down and crossed his arms.
"So if all the business is concluded can I please ask everyo-" He started saying bitterly as a loud knocking sound emanated from the door. "OH WHAT NOW?" he said walking over and yanking the door open to reveal nothing before him. "PRANKS? someone dare pull a prank on me? there will be a new frog for the pond." he spat.

Evelyn Evelyn saw her professor's door open and did something that would probably make her professor uncomfortable, but she rather needed--she hugged him. "Professor! That--that boy! There's something wrong with him!!!"

Shock raced across his face. Someone was around his waist. Not knowing what to do he just stood there. After a secong he looked down and recognised the girl as one of his students
"What ARE you doing? Do I look like I want to be hugged?" he said pushing her away. "It's bad enough that people have been parading around in MY study. Now this. sheesh." he said turning and walking back into the study, leaving the door open. "Lorika is in here, if you care about the lad, drag him in. There's no gurentee I won't turn you into a slug anyway, girl." He said, finally sitting down again.

Evelyn Rage flared up in Evelyn. Expecting anything more from that--that--horrible man was indeed stupid, but she had needed some sort of stability. Scooping up what was left of her dignity along with the boy--pulling his arm around her neck and leading him--, Evelyn stormed off, but not before yelling a few choice things back to her professor.
"A slug would still be a step up from you though, wouldn't it?"

 I am gone from my home, my world...Gwarn looked around- it had apparently been hours since the rift device was used, as the sun was setting over the ocean now.
Well, at least he believed that to be the case. Soon he would find that it had not been hours, but miles, thousands of miles, through negative and interplanar space, which not even Rakshasa's could truly comprehend. The rift device was his passport to freedom, it was supposed to take him to someone the matron prophesied he would see.
Gwarn believed 'The man of blackest heritage' was to be found on the prime material, The place he was before igniting the magical energies within the device. He had come to some Islands off the edge of the sword coast seeking the device. Now, he sat, watching the sunset, a mask of held rage and anguish painted across his face. The device had simply knocked him unconscious for a few hours.
Or so he thought until he turned around.
He stood, turning, and his mouth went slack-jawed, explanations running helter-skelter through his mind, trying to put the pieces together.
A lush, tropical jungle, mayhap even rain forest, sprawled out just passed the beachline for as far as he could see, north or south.
and looking north and south, he saw multiple tarps, tents, adventure gear, and miscellaneous things of such quantitiy he could not guess at, littering the beach.
Had the device brought him somewhere in the prime material, or somewhere else?
The rakshasa bowed his head, placing his hands together, calling his innate magical powers, asking to detect where in the realms he was.
The answer was silence, and fear took the Tiger man.
"FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA........."
The roar was heard across the Isle de Gambino. But it is really gone from me?

Do I contol the blades in my hands? Drax woke from a dead sleep with a start. He heard a tremendous roar, one which shook the memories playing in his head while he slept.
"What in Bhaal's name was that?" he whispered to himself, rolling from the small bed in his room in the housing and moved over to the window.
He was clothed in simple cotton breeches, a brown plaid pattern that fit with his normal clothing. In fact, he had been given an entire (well, to him) wardrobe after getting his room by the acolytes. His, for once, peaceful slumber had bean interrupted by this mysterious noise, and his first thoughts were to hunt whatever made the noise to find out just what it was.
He donned his leather armor and brown leggings, then his fit tall boots, and buckled on his sword belts.
Then, he remembered his promise to protect the high priestess.
"I must find Lady Lorika," he said, just before leaving his room Or do they control me?

"Oh, okay. Nevermind then, it's nothing." Alexi replied, laughing a little. She was still shook up by remembering the two men, however. "But...who's Bapp?"
