Musica watched the path she took and shook his head. Not wanting to get close to the lake he decided to teleport. He stood sturdy on the ground and closed his eyes to focus his energy. With a bright flash he disappeared from his location and reappeared a few feet away from the door Ari had been running to. Trying to appear nonchalant he leaned up against the wall, waiting patiently for her to arrive.

"Cheater!" Ari accused as she caught up with him, her breathing uneven from running. It was tricky, running blind, but she'd managed to master it. Finding the door handle, she pulled the door open an a current of cool air blew out from the hallway. Leading him inside, and up a few flights of stairs, she opened the door to her room.
Sighing happily, she dumped her bag on a chair by the door and vaulted onto her bed with perfect accuracy. Piles of books were around the room with varied subjects. Some were on Norse Gods and were heavily bookmarked. Others were on Optic nerves and eyes. It was clear Ari had been doing more than just her regular homework.

Musica looked over her room, seeing that basic decor wasn't very different from Evermore's room. He took quick notice of the books all around and let out a sharp whistle. "I see someone's been busy with school work. Maybe a little more than that." He spoke as he picked up one of the Norse Mythology books. "Mythology eh? Looks like I prove that wrong." He flipped through a couple pages, and came across Baldr. As he'd hoped nothing was mentioned about him, but he didn't figure there would be. Musica closed the book and threw it back down. He walked over to a chair near the bed and sat down heavily. Soon his shoes were off and he was in nothing but his jeans, not liking to wear shirts when not necessary.

Sighing, she rolled over and pulled another book from beneath her pillow. ”I, erm, like to read at night,” she explained, smiling. "I've also been looking into optics, and optic surgeries. I'm thinking I'm going to try to see... and I have you to thank, Musica," she said gently. The book she had pulled out from her pillow was in Braille, and her sensitive fingers found the bookmarked page and began rapidly skimming the page, the sound was a soft ‘whissssk’, like a light breeze. As she kept pace reading, she noticed the way he sat down. It sounded heavy. ”Don’t break my chair,” she warned with a smile on her face, but then she became serious. ”Is something bothering you?”

"You don't say? Never would have guessed." He said chuckling as he looked over at her on the bed. Musica wanted to be in that bed with her, clothing optional. Once more he pushed such thoughts from his mind. "I'll do my best Ari, though I can't make any promises." He felt the chair crack a little when he sat down, but paid it no mind. "Oh nothing, just the fact I'm hiding out in your room and waiting for hell knows what to come possibly inspect your room." To be honest he was actually a little worried about it. He was scared by all means, just concerned.

Ari removed her glasses so he could see her roll her eyes. She placed them on the bedside table next to her. ”No one’s going to come… it’s just in case. Plus,” she said, leaning over the edge and pulling up the bed skirt. ”You can pull an Ares and hide under here, or my closet. It’s lovely and dark in there. I suggest the closet. No one ever looks in those,” she said matter of factly. ”… and I know you can’t make any promises. I wouldn’t expect you to! I was just thanking you for the little push you gave me in the right direction. I’ll get there eventually,” Ari sighed, biting her lip. ”Now, do you want to sit there and watch me read, or so you want to watch a movie?” she asked.

Musica made a face when he thought of disguising himself. Being the Demigod of Light and Beauty, he could probably alter his appearance. But he liked his own way too much. "I think I'll take my chances in the closet, and don't you worry I'm gonna help you get your sight back one way or the other." Musica stood up and then walked over to her bed where he laid out across it lazily beside her. "I don't know, I was quite enjoying watching you. Very fascinating creature you are Miss Ari. A movie would be nice though, what are my options?"

"Because that's not creepy at all!" she said, poking him in the side. "... and thank you," she said quietly. Springing up, she tottered over to a small cabinet beside her TV. "Let's see..." she muttered, running her fingers over the various spines of the cases. She randomly began tossing them onto the bed behind her. "Harry Potter, Dawn of the Dead, Jurassic Park, Chicago, The Godfather..." she listed them off as she tossed them over her shoulder. "There's more if you'd like to look," she said, gesturing to the cabinet. "I'm a rabid movie fan."

Unfortunately one of the cases hit him in the face. It was his favorite movie, Amadeus. He scooted up the bed to prop himself up on the head board. "Ey, watch where your throwing there Missy. How about this movie you knocked me in the eye with, Amadeus? Always loved this film myself." He said as he chucked it back over to her, careful not to hit her.

Ares looked up from where he was suiting up in armor--even he was preparing for the war to come, no matter how far-off it may be--and frowned. He knew Evermore would probably hate him if she knew, but he'd been tracking her aura. He wanted to keep track of her. As far as Zeus was aware (or any other gods), he was just trying to make sure that he could find that Relic as soon as she knew where it was. They needed to either destroy it or protect it. And, now, he could feel her going to some random place in the school, close to her own dorm--her friend's aura was there too, though he didn't bother following it too much. Then Evermore simply seemed to stop, and that other girl kept going. He didn't pay attention to the other girl's aura, concentrating on Evermore's and willing her to get up and continue on. Then, the other girl's aura was just... gone. And he didn't know what her aura was, so he couldn't track her (he'd never bothered learning all of Evermore's friends' auras). He waited for Evermore to follow, frozen in place. He was sure, almost completely sure, that the other girl had gone into the Room. He would be willing to bet a large sum of money that the Room had been found, and that now Evermore was being led to it. So, logically, she would move and go find it. She didn't move, and the frown on his face deepened, transforming into a scowl. What the hell? Why wasn't she going to what couldn't be anything but that damned Room? Why was she just sitting around? Standing up straight, causing his armor* to clank softly, he teleported so that he would be right across from Evermore, air shimmering softly in the same manner as his armor. He examined Evermore silently. "Why the long face, Fury?" he asked. ((*Okay, crappy picture, but if any of you have seen Clash of the Titans (the 2010 version), I'm picturing his armor to be similar to most of the other gods' in shininess. I was actually going to use a picture of Apollo, but I couldn't find one...))

"Sorry!" Ari said, picking the movie up off the floor. "Maybe that was the reason they didn't give me a bat for the baseball unit in P.E..." Ari mused. Heading over to her DVD player, she popped in the movie. Grabbing the remote, she tilted her head to the side as she listened to the static and frequencies coming off the television. Soon, the opening credits rolled across the screen. "There we go!" she said triumphantly. Grabbing her book, she plopped down onto the sofa and read while she listened.

{{Ok, I know I probably shouldn't make any suggestions, but if it wouldn't mess with whatever the plot is, I think Aphrodite should maybe show up beside Ares. Just my opinion, though.}}
Ever sighed and simply turned another page in her textbook. She didn't even bother to look up at him. She was expecting he'd show up soon since her mothers had come earlier to warn her. Hell, Ever almost expected Zeus himself to show up. Though, she was surprised that Aphrodite had not made her own presence known.
"I have no long face, Ares. Maybe that's what you want to see, but I'm actually quite fine."

((No, no! You still should make suggestions! Your suggestions help the story more often than anyone else's tend to, lol.))
Ares rolled his eyes. "Like Hell you don't have a long face. You're moping about here instead of doing something interesting. You're even reading a damn textbook! What kind of normal, self-respecting student, reads a textbook when they're not moping?" He raised an eyebrow at her, crossing his arms. The movement caused his armor to clank again, which was going to get old fast.

{{eh.}}
Ever sighed and just shook her head. "Think whatever you want, Ares. You're going to, anyway."
She then looked up at him and winced at the glare off of his new armor. "I hope you know that you look like a tool in that."
