Yes, it's best to read everything first. This plot is quite...complicated.

Tendencies, as requested, my character's age has been increased. Just thought I'd let you know that I changed that.

The only thing I'm confused about is the current whereabouts of non-ODST troops. I haven't found a post yet telling where they would be, so...

Alright. I'll probably be online off and on throughout the night.
How are you all doing?

You know, I looked at the Mass Effect guild that's linked as a medal.
Is it me or has it died? I could only see activity in it from a while ago. If it isn't, I would join it as a Turian >:O

I've never played Mass Effect. Some of my friends liked it. Others did not. I never got around to trying it myself. How is it?

I like it, mainly because of the amount of races and history put into it. Otherwise, it plays like any other RPG with third person shooting/magic-like attacks (biotics).

Mass Effect is similar to Halo. Ancient advanced race are the corner stone of the story, but of course, unlike Halo there is a twist to why they are advanced, and why they were wiped out.
Also, the gameplay, variety of characters and what kind of soldier you can be is epic. Traveling around different planets, shooting droids and security guards that piss you off... etc.

Well, if it goes back up, hopefully I can get the chance to be part of it. If I had been back when it was alive, I would have joined it. But, sadly, I was busy with real-life work over the summer.

Mmm. I see. From what you're telling me, Mass Effect sounds like a combination of Halo, Star Wars, and some sort of fantasy RPG (like Oblivion).

Not so much Star Wars...the only "droids" are the Geth, robotic AI. And I don't think you could call them droids, considering the come in various forms, from the crawlers, which are recon, to the Colossals.

And they are bio-mechanic. Meaning they can transform flesh into... machines.
