@ Giesta - I think adblocker is a Firefox thing. I've never used it. I don't know anything more about the way to delete sparkles and I haven't done it myself. Just passing on the info. Maybe gaia will give us the option.
@ Kin - Firefox has worked pretty well for me. Way better than Internet Explorer. What do you like about Opera? Or put another way, what will I like about it? lol
What do we think about gaia's latest "improvement" to Daily Chance?
- invite 25 friends and get very good stuff
- invite 10 friends and get moderately good stuff
- invite 0 friends, get pure crap

I admit Ive heard of Firefox but I though all it was used for was Downloads and Streaming Vids, so I am at a loss of how that works exactly. sweatdrop
I have seen the Announcment about Daily Chance and think that Gaia may about to be burnt, well let me re-pharse that.
"Gaia will be experiencing a Down-Turn in New Members I think because of this" I think there are enough people out there that are used to the "Old Daily Chance" that it wont make much difference. And if this makes enough Gaian's angry perhaps another Boycott to."
I really dont care becaue I never have anyone to ask to "Join" Gaia anyway. sweatdrop

@ Harvey: Opera is pretty good. It took me a while to get used to after using Firefox for such a long time, but now that I've been using Opera for some time, I prefer it. I can't really say what you could like about it, since I don't really remember what Firefox was like... sweatdrop From the little I recall, they're not all that different. You should try it out sometime, though. 3nodding
About the DC: I kind of think it's unfair. A lot of my friends aren't interested in a site like GaiaOnline, and the ones that are had accounts, but have abandoned them. There's nobody left for me to invite. And because of that, I have to suffer? I mean, sure, I never got that much out of the DC anyway, but still! Gaia has been making some really bad decisions lately...

Another boycott... hehe... I like the way you think. it night be fun to send all the crappy items to the new gaia president... either in trade or gift (which takes longer).
@ kin - Thanks for the Opera info. If time weren't speeding up so much I'd try it right now.
Lots of the feedback notes say about what you did about not being able to get new friends to sign up. Same for me.
I do DC just for the occasional fun item. If gaia does as it said, reduces what's given to pure crap, I'll disable it. Nice of them to give us the disable option. Now if they'll only give us the option to turn off sparkles.

@ Harvey-
I really think this will not end well for Gaia Admin/Mods, ^8^ a lot of Gaian's are like us and dont really have anyone they can Invite to Gaia either because they Joined a long time ago and left like Kin Said, or because our friends just dont care or like Gaia anyways.
And I bet Harvey it will end-up being a situation where everyone turns off DC in the options menu. 3nodding
I only maybe got 2 items since I joined Gaia that were particularly good out of DC, and the rest was crap and still is. 3nodding

Yup there are a whole lotta people posting in Feedback Forum about how really mad they are. Gaia has made so many irritating moves lately. Let's count 'em just for fun -
1. BOO skin turned into wormy potato skin - outcry - guild formed of people keeping BOO skins - not fixed yet
2. Failed to tell when Easter event would end - outcry - event reinstated with definite end time
3. Yanked cig with no notice - outcry - reinstated
4. Nerfed booty grab - strike - un-nerfed (but only a little)
5. Yanked dolphins with no notice - outcry - not fixed
6. New notice system - outcry - fixed
7. Sparkles - outcry - waiting for promised turn off option
8. Social Daily Chance - outcry - waiting for... something
Did I miss any?

Thx, God they are actually fixing it right now for a change.
Prob. figured out what I meant about people being a bit P.O'ed with this kinda of a change to DC
Also new "Achievements" Tab is added in My Gaia Tab today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Achievements - Seems interesting. I signed up. Can't wait to see what "cool things" the points will unlock.
Daily Chance - I have a little (very little) gaia cash. Is it coincidence that I got "good" items the last 3 days?

Achievements - I finished all of them! I had to deactivate it afterwards, though. It was messing up poor little Opera...

@ Harvey & Kin---I have them all as well "Achievements" It seems to be giving me kinda so-so good items, have for the last two days been getting (1) pot of ink from a Daily Chance. I am doing coding for Profiles is what I meant, I can actually "Make" simple profiles now. I was going to wait for my B-Day to show you but here, ^*^ The first one "Profile" I made yesterday late.
