The Kohr Dragon Sneeze The Kohr Dragon Sneeze The Kohr Dragon Sneeze Cryptic glanced over at Leon and blinked. "Ah yes. The great leader speaks. I don't make a habit of turning away people in need, but I do tend to tell them not exactly what they want to hear." She touched a metronome on the shelf and a melodic tic tocking filled the room. "What is it you wish to know?" “Well Danny, here’s your shot. Let’s get what we came for and go.” Leon looked towards him with a soft smile encouraging him to speak with the slightly odd woman. All eyes on you and her Danny, seems to be the way she likes it….Danny stepped forward. "A man came to the hotel where I live.." "Le Grande." Cryptic replied. Danny nodded and continued. "He came and took my sister and murdered about twenty people. I'd like to know who he is and where he went." Cryptic Smiled and adjusted her glasses. "Is that all? Why you already know the answers to those questions. If you need a compass look to the sky. Past events color future ones, though they need not all be red." "What the hell does that mean?" Tessa responded. “Did none of you expect this; I mean… her name for starters.” Leon sighed…. If you need a compass look to the sky….. focus… North Star…. Too simple maybe it is only relevant to the person who asked the question. He scratched his head for a moment. “Danny I need you to think on those words. A compass is a tool to help you find your destination… and looking to the sky would only help at night to see the north star to find you way… that being said sailors used to look to the heavens and guide themselves by using clusters of stars, constellations, that part doesn’t really mean anything to me so maybe I’m wrong.” Leon groaned and began to pace. A sour look flashed on Danny's face. "Constellation... That's it! Come on, we don't have time to sit around!" He ran out the door followed quickly by Tessa. "Damnit, what did it mean! Wait for me!" Leon yelled as he bolted after them. Danny explained as he ran. "When my parents were killed when I was little a reg by the name of Constellation tried to save us. I couldn't remember that before, must have blocked it out. That is until you mentioned it. See past events color the future! We got to find him!" When they reached the lobby he stepped over the man still passed out in the counter area and pulled out a telephone book. "We need to find Crispin Locke. He retired and is living as a normal guy." The Orphan who was standing outside waiting for them to return strode up to them. "What is happening?"

The Kohr liz_bliz_inc The Kohr Reaper grabbed Liz by her outstretched hand and pulled her up to the plateau they were scaling. “You know, for this being our first outing together I must apologize. I don’t typically take a girl rock climbing in enemy territory with a villain she hates as a third wheel.” He likes to keep his distance from us, I would take it that powers are failing at a substantial rate.“Well we are nearing higher ground I think we should be able to see something over this next wall. Here I’ll lift you up tell me what you can see.” Reaper put his arms out to lift Liz. "I would hope not," Liz said as they climbed the rock face. It seemed that her powers were still enough that she could cut into the rock to make hand holds and foot holds for them. "I can't see that as being a good way to keep a steady girlfriend." "You that trick doesn't work if the chick is wearing pants right?" Liz said with a laugh at Reaper's suggestion to prop her up. Accepted his help though and put her foot in his cupped hands, using his push to jump up to nearly the top of the cliff face. She grabbed on to the edge and lifted her self up enough to put her chin over the edge. "Damn, that's....a really big, really old city," she said after a moment. "Whoever lives here probably lives there." “Alright then kid, this is where we get serious. It’s most likely going to be the meeting place of everyone on the mountain. We have to sneak into the city and see if we can’t figure out what the hell is going on around here. Once in we should hold tight for back up.” Reaper laughed as he thought about the odds they faced. He looked up at Liz holding herself up on the cliff side. You may not be wearing a skirt but that doesn’t make the view any less enticing…. No focus focus…. We need to stay sharp Damnit. Scenario… Ancient city, steady loss of allies’ powers, and an unknown enemy; as well as several known enemies in your same position. Solution…….. ******** this is gonna suck balls.“So when we’re waiting for back up in their maybe I could interest you in some of my many other tricks?” He glanced back up at her, his eyes telling of a big grin behind his mask. "Thanks, but I think I'll pass for now," Liz said as she surrounded her feet in aura and kicked a few hand holds for Reaper before she pulled herself over the top of the cliff face and held out a hand to help him up. At the same time she looked past him and said, "Dammit, that sneaky b*****d left us, the next time I find him I will break his legs so he doesn't wander off." ----------------------------- A short while later the two where shuffling around the outskirts of the town, using the trees for cover. Liz peered down one of the maze like streets from her cover and said, "It's strange, I don't see anyone, do you think they've all died a long time ago? Maybe they were trapped here as well."

Ricky motioned for the group to crouch behind a rock when he spotted a large group of tanned natives marching down a worn path. "Whoa, look at the size of them! They're twice as big as those ones we saw before. Either that or my eyes are playing tricks on me."

"I think I mastered motorcycles!" He called out to Laura as they sped to the destination.

Ward climbed ever higher along a cliff face with Dome still dwelling behind him.
"How can you be sure this is even the right way to go man!? I mean there was a clear path to the right and then on the left a cliff side, and your like.... ******** a' let'
s climb it!" Dome whined aloud.
"It's called higher ground, any good soldier will tell you to know your battleground. And the best way to know a mountain is by getting near it's summit. I need to see the lay of the land. Besides I don't recall telling you to follow me." He sighed back to her excessive whimpering.

I have witnessed the follies of several of the heroes and my so-called peers. They are to be found pampered by their over indulging powers. Their efforts are fruitless, and with out meaning.
Damian paused to readjust his equipment. His body was covered in dirt and mud though his hair stayed ever slick back and not a strand out of place. To his credit he had become an amazing specimen in his fathers words. His mind told him to take his hands and wreak havoc, his instinct told him to fashion weapons, and all alone the instinct was king.
Father was always into The Most Dangerous Game. I think he would appreciate my targets.
