Amnity looked up at him quickly when he said that her other revolver was fixed. "R-really!?" She got up and rushed to the living room. When she came back she had 2 revolvers, smiling down at the newly fixed one. "Amazing! Thanks Z." The soldier sat back down on her seat and began loading both of them while whistling a light tune.
"Did you know that I was the one that actually found her....It was during a riot that happened a while ago." Amnity looked up, trying to remember the day clearly. "...Yeah. She was blind back then from a fire that happened in her house...She was calling for help and I heard her." There was a click from under the table, she was loading more bullets. "I found her trapped in an alley, these teenagers set wild dogs on her and they attacked her because she was carrying groceries." Another snap coming from the revolver. "She needed help....I guess that was the first time I actually started acting human..." Amnity stopped loading her revolvers and smiled at the memories. "I let her stay in this apartment...Got her through some surgery to get her sight back..." She quickly snapped back into reality though and looked over at Zahzi with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, I was rambling again..."

Zahzi laughed once.
"No, no. There's no problem." he said with a smile.
"It's good to know that she's had someone to watch over her. At least for awhile, since what happened to her parents..." he said, with a regretful tone, still believing that Lavitar's parents deaths were his fault, not Navox's.

"It wasn't your fault Zahzi....You know that. You had no control over yourself." Amnity said, no longer loading her revolver. "It's Navox who did it, he's the one to blame. If you had a choice or if you had control over yourself you wouldn't have done it." She smiled. "Don't think about their death...Think about how you managed to control yourself before you killed Laviatar too...She wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for you."

"I know, but that does not exactly absolve me of all guilt..." he said, looking over at her.
"You know how it's like...Even if you wern't at fault, their blood is still on your hands, and you can't wash that kind of stain off..."

Amnity looked at him for a few seconds, then looked away. "Not really...You got the better end of the rope..." She leaned forward on the table and just looked at the untouched food in front of her. "When I killed people....I had full control...I knew what I was doing....It's worse then someone controlling me...There was no one to blame but myself..." She finally looked up at him and tried to smile. "But you...You spent some time trying to repent...You carry that book with the people's name on it...You're pretty human yourself in fact..."

"Human...Heh..." he said smiling with his eyes closed.
He opened one eye and looked over at her.
"Humanity is quite a controversial case...I've seen humans commit atrocities just like Navox...And I've seen demons with the mercy of saints..."

"That's something...That even I don't know..." he said, leaning back in the chair and looking at the celing.
"I guess you could say I'm a Lightning Rod With a Conscious..." he said with a smile.

Amnity rolled her eyes, then she smiled. "Great, I've befriended with a lightning rod with a conscience." She leaned back on her chair as well and crossed her arms. She thought about what she was....And like Zahzi she didn't quite know either. "I guess...I guess I'm just a monster trying to be human."

Zahzi laughed at this.
"A monster? No...If you were a monster, then why did you help Laviatar?" he said with a wry smile.
"If you were a monster, then why are we helping Zudah?" he added to his origional question.

Amnity smiled too, then shrugged. "At least I know now that it's working. The beast starting to become a human." She then looked back to him and grinned. "And as far as I know lightning rods don't usually go around and help people either, you're becoming more human too."

"Hopefully...Hopefully..." Zahzi said, with a grin.
He then stood up, and placed the empty plate in the sink, then walked into the main room. He sat down on the reformed couch, and then turned the TV on.
"...Wonder if they ever broadcast the wonders about how their city gets fixed so quickly..."

Amnity holstered her revolvers onto her belt and followed after him, watching the TV too. She was just in time for the news about 'mass dilutions in the city'.
"I swear! This whole block was like a battle zone! Buildings were ruined and everything!!!" One man began telling the news reporter what he saw.
"I saw everything! There was lightning and loud noises! There was this guy that controlled electricity!"
"I saw this woman with a cannon for an arm! It was like from a movie! She picked up this giant truck and threw it at some other guy!"
The soldier leaned again the door frame with her arms crossed. She couldn't help but laugh at all of it as the news man blamed it all on mass hysteria. "I love this city..."

Zahzi gave a grin, looking at the TV.
"Oh yes...'Because some guy using electricity and a women with a laser, and throwing a truck at someone is Craaaaaaaazyyyyyyy'..."
The news then switched to what Zahzi had done afterwards. Witnesses also prattled on about this, also being labled as massive dilusions.
"...I really have to wonder where these witnesses were during this..."

Amnity shrugged. She opened her mouth to say something, but then a little boy appeared on screen wanting to tell what he saw that night.
"The wightning man did it. I saw him, he used his wightning powers and the buildings and stweets were back to nowmal."
When Amnity heard this, she smiled and sat down on the couch. "Wow....Lightning man. I've got to say Zahzi that's pretty catchy. You're like a super hero." She then chuckled. "At least someone acknowledged what you did."
"Thank you wightning man." The boy said while clutching the microphone and waving to the camera before the newsreporter continued with the news.
