Atari wiggled happily and bit at his peach, purring softly before squeaking, near throwing the peach before cupping his hand to his mouth. There's a rock in it! he whimpered, poking at the peach, which he let fall to the blanket the two rested on.

"A rock?" Esca blinked, then smiled. "That's just the seed. Just eat around it! But don't eat the seed. I think I heard once it has arsnic in it." Esca nodded, taking another bite from hers.

Arsnic? Atari gasped, but then blushed as he leaned towards Esca some. What's that? He lifted the peach back up and nibbled at it carefully, not wanting to go near the seed if it had something scary in it.

Atari's eyes widened considerably as he squeaked 'Poison?!'. He whimpered and looked to the peach, wiggling anxiously in place as he wanted to finish it but didn't want to get sick. Biting his lip, he opted to pick apart the fruit best he could, which more resulted in his hands and arms becoming a sticky mess than actually helping to get the fruit to his mouth.

"The poison is inside the seed, don't worry." Esca said with a giggle as she watched him. She pulled a napkin from the basket and put a little water from the water bottle onto it, before offering it out to him.

Atari blushed deeply, so much so that the taint of color was visible through his lavender skin as he accepted the napkin and tried to dab himself off. It can't get out? His question came out a little squeaky, as he was still a little shaken inwardly over the possibility of dying from peach consumption.

"Nope!" Esca smiled, patting his arm. "Don't worry. The seed wasn't cracked open, and it's all still inside. But if you do get sick, I promise to bring you some chicken noodle soup, okay?"

He looked between the peach and Esca before giggling and nodding. Okay! Chicken noodle soup is my favorite. As long as there aren't carrots in it. I don't like carrots in soup. They get squishied, and I like crunchied carrots. He nodded to himself and started back in on the peach, The tip of his tail ticking happily against his foot as he sat with Esca.

You're my bestest friend ever, Esca. Atari purred after a moment, blushing as he used a simple charm to rid himself of any sticky peach remnants before shifting forward to wrap his arms around Esca, pulling her into a close, gentle hug.

Yes really, silly! Atari purred, still rather glomped onto Esca. Don't be surprised. You're so nice to me all the time, and you don't make fun of me because I don't know things...He blushed deeply and pressed a soft kiss to her cheek before gently pulling away. I'm really really glad that I met you. He shifted on the blanket some, his eyes focused on the stitching a moment before he turned his apple eyes to meet her gaze, smiling brightly.

Esca giggled and smiled. "I'm glad I met you too, Atari!" She blushed and leaned in a little, kissing his cheek, before opening her mouth and blowing a raspberry on his cheek with a grin.

Atari winced as Esca administered the raspberry to his cheek, and rubbed his cheek roughly when she finished, the tingly feeling left behind not going away quickly. For a moment he looked offended, but then a playful smile spread over his lips and with a softly little mew, he threw his arms around Esca and pushed her to the ground, snuggling her before pressing his lips to hers, not quite considering a need for permission.
