again she coildnt do it,she stood on the wall for a few minutes, then she dropped down,it was a difficulte task, but she was going to do it no matter what,Kurina leaned on the wall and breathed, she was tired a bit,but stood there relaxing before she tried doing it again, she walked a way from the wall, and then swiftly ran towards it,with full speed, centring her chakra in her feet.

Kurina didnt respon well to failure, she again dropped down to the ground, and this time she felt angry and irritated, its like the wall was laughing at her, everytime she failed, she kept on failing from the beggining of this exersice, this was the first time she faced such a difficult task, she raced towards the wall again, and leaped in its direction, holding into it,and fighting the gravity with all her might.walking slwoly as pai ran through her ankls, she gulped from pain, but kept moving, not wanting to stop.

kurina fell hard to the ground, she couldnt keep holding her chakra in her ankle,it was taking to much energy, she quickly flipped before she lost control ,and landed on the ground with a heavy sigh, she panted and sat on her knees, breathing and relaxing, before she continued her training, her cloth got a bit dirty from falling on the ground over and over again, pain ran through her body, and especially at her feet, forcing all of her chakra into them, was a difficult taks to do,and it got harder everytime she forced it to do so, and gravity wasnt helping much too,as it was so determined to defy her,she took a deep breath and stood up,relaxing and focusing her chakra flow again, forcing it to go down to her feet;then she ran towards the wall and leaped to it,as she always did and will do,until she gets it right.

They walked and Raine followed to Kimiko's side. "Huh about me?" Raine smiled embarrassed, "Ah well I'm the only Tekkenseisai I know that is alive, well besides Tsuyosa-Sensei. Who is the clan leader and trained me in suna." he stepped over a booby-trapped root that stuck out from their path. "I've lived in Oto all my life, and um... well...." he couldn't help but take the chance to boast his achievements. "My first mission was an S rank, my first sensai was Hatchi-sensei, Oto's only sennin. I fought two jounin from taki the takikage, the tsuchikage, and the kazekage." he loved this spiel, "The people I most like to fight are the Uchiha, haven't meant one yet that I can't beat the crap out of!" he smiled giggling a little bit, remembering all the good times. Oh yeah I suppose I should tell you guys that, I can't do any kicking techniques, or really any ninjustu or genjutsu. I know it sounds bad, but Taijutsu.... it's just so awesome. It's in my blood. And chakra control.... that's like trying to close a revolving door." he slapped his hand against his face. Sliding his fingers away he realized there was something in front of them. Stopping he smiled. "Awesome!" Raine pushed through his two teammates to stand in front of the contraption. These were wooden training posts meant to be beaten and bashed, all revolving and in a way fighting back. "Oh I so have to do this one guys!!" he thought maybe Kimiko would want to do this one but.... it was too tempting. Turning his head back Raine was confidence, "I'll show you why I don't need gen or nin jutsu"

Raine set his stance, loweing his butt and pulling his back straight, his body was power and strength unmovable like the very stone that paved the earth. He breathed, curling his fingers into deadly weapons. Fists held just under his eyes, Raine rolled up like a boxer flinging his foot forward, and smashing into the wood. Splinters exploded around him, falling like snow around them. Tipping to the ground and splashing up against the small boys face, he didn't mind it, not after rock spike thrust.
The silent forest burst into a den, birds and animals fleeing, as the force of Raine' one punch set the entire ring of dummies into action, they spun and clacked with each other, the whole area alive with motion. Breathing and seething as the small boy pinpointed his pressure and power.
Raine whilred his hands flat before him cocking back around his neck faster than the others would be able to see, glaring down Raine saw his target, pushing the raw power from created from every pulsing muscle fiber in his body into the momentum of the hit. His skin collided with wood, the transfer of energy so violent that the large poll snapped instantly its slivers bursting up at the attack, his iron protection defending him from harmful stabs. Whirling under incoming attacks Raine flung his fist and elbows out, constantly shifting his weight for the most powerful attack. He was frighteningly awesome. There was nothing but the warm breath of destruction in him, nothing but the focus of the kill.

Kimiko listened to all this with shimmering eyes. "Awesome!" not paying the least bit of attention to Maboroshi, who was looking almost amused by something.
'Three of the Kage's... in sparring matches I assume, and training under Oto's Sennin...I heard somthing about him supposedly dying on a mission...I wonder if that's the one Raine speaks of..." he smirked at the Uchiha remark. He thought for a moment about saying offhandedly "Oh well I killed an uchiha myself just last thursday, those Uchiha sure can beg for mercy, ahahaha-" but decided against it for the sake of his more altruist inclined teammates. Still, Raine certainly was something of an oddity, it was a shame his clan was dying out, they seemed like the interesting sort if Raine was any indication. As Raine went to work on the Taijutsu dummies, He looked over at Kimiko. "Momoe-san,"
Kimiko was looking at Raine with a rather amazed expression on her face. Raine was WAY better at Taijutsu than She was, he wasn't kidding about being good at it. True she was more focused on her sword and Ninjutsu now than her taijutsu...but still. She turned her attention away from the spectacle and looked at her rival. "Hm?"
"We'll have to decide on which one of us will go next won't we? So how about we settle this with a little game of Janken while Raine is working so hard."
Kimiko blinked looking as though it didn't really matter. "Oh...well...sure. I guess. Rock paper scissors right? That's fine."
Xenon's eyes glinted slightly triumphantly "Very well...Paper."
Kimiko looked at him suddenly paranoid "What?"
"You were going to pick rock, so I choose Paper. You lose."
Kimiko sputtered slightly "What? But...but how did you know what I was...I mean..." she suddenly pointed at him "Thats cheating Maboroshi! There's no way you could...I mean, try that again!"
"Scissors." Xenon said with a continued triumphant smile.
Kimiko blinked looking a little alarmed. 'Can...can he....read minds...'
"Yes." Xenon looking with a creepy smirk.
"AH!" but as Maboroshi started laughing she realized she'd merely been out smarted "Maboroshi! You jerk!"
Xenon continued to chuckle at her expense. She was so predictable sometimes it was just a joy to be around her.

Son Raine had made a path of destruction around him, the few outer posts were completely demolished and only two layers remained. Dash had really gone to a lot of trouble to make this a hard challenge.
Smashing through the more wood, Raine felt his hands ache a bit, small splinters were sticking out from his skin, now breaking the barrier of hardened muscle. This pain was nothing.
In the corner of his eye a small yellow dancer lifted on wings and glided up into the air like a leaf falling backwards. The butterfly had his attention for a long second, his arms smashing out at the dummies their limbs breaking away. He blinking coolly setting his mind beyond the destruction for a mere second.

Raine pulled back with a final swing, smashing his fist straight into the last dummy before he could reach the green flag behind the intricate ring of dummies still violently clacking together as the domino effect rotated around. The last of the splinters settled like newly made bark on the ground and Raine stood to his height taking a breath. "Wehw. K I finished." he grabbed the flag holding it with his own blue one. What had Xen said about keeping each others flags? The small boy turned and handed the flag to Xen, that system was based on distrust, that was no good.

Xen raised an eyebrow "Hm? Oh yes, thank you." As Xenon took the flag with a matter of fact attitude he looked to Kimiko "Momoe-san, you'll keep my next flag, then Raine will your final. Remember we can't touch our other flag until the very end, else there's a risk of our Sensei attempting to declare a single winner..." he smiled about something as he pocketed his first flag. "I'm trusting you two to snag yours first at the end."
Kimiko rolled her eyes "That's something you'd do Maboroshi."
Xenon gave a slight smile "Do you think so? You're quite mistaken."
Kimiko looked a little surprised at him, I mean of course, she knew he was good underneath, but she didn't think HE'D admit to it.
"Treachery in the end is only a temporary gain, a path for the foolish and impulsive." he pushed up his glasses "It's in one's benefit to build ties to those they can trust, those they can reply on. That's why teamwork is the basis for Ninja squads in the first place. You don't have to worry." he turned around his gold eyes scanning about. "I can't afford to be betrayed, therefore I never intend to betray in turn...you needn't worry about that."
Kimiko was looking at him with a raised eyebrow "You know Maboroshi...I think you just make up excuses for actually being a nice guy..."
Xenon gave a subdued chuckle "Hm, perhaps..." he looked at her side long "But keep in the mind the difference between Loyalty and goodness...they aren't the same." he pointed off far in the distance "There...just above the tree line...it would seem that a bird has our next flag... shall we proceed?"
Kimiko though was considering what her rival had said. The difference between Loyalty and goodness? She frowned slightly. She knew that he was right...but, maybe that was the reason he was so good at hiding his good side, because he DID put up such a good argument to the contrary... still, she knew that no matter what excuses he had, no matter what lies he made up, he was still a good person somwhere in there...she just had to find out how to bring it out... she turned her attention elsewhere. She'd have plenty of time she supposed, now they were on the same team together, she was sure that Raine and her's example would get to him eventually.

Raine followed silently, their big words confusing him a bit. Too embarrassed to admit this he simply kept to cracking his knuckles. From what he understood though Kimiko seemed to have a point with Xen's goodness or loyalty, whatever they wanted to call it. More assured of his situation Raine let his thoughts wonder, "Hey, so I told you about me. What about you guys?" he looked to Kimiko who was closer to him questioningly.

Kimiko looked over with a grin, not even remembering she had to go first because of her loss. "Oh, right. Well, I'm not really all that special. I've lived in oto for as long as I can remember with my parents, their retired Ninja." she seemed to be thinking "Well...I guess their technically not my real parents... I mean they adopted me when i was a baby, but I've never really got what the difference was..." she shrugged "Any way, I've only met the Otokage out of the kage's but HE's SO COOL!" she got a slightly wonderous expression for a few moments before resuming as though nothing had happened. "-and the mission i went on first was just a D-rank. I went with Maboroshi.
"Um, besides that..." she cast around for something else about herself I guess I really like Manga and stuff like that, I'm a huge fan of happy endings, and especially stories about really cool heroes!" She seemed ecstatic "My dream is to become a heroine like that myself one day! I'm actually pretty good at Ninjutsu and my swordsmanship, even though I've a long way to go till I'm as good as my mom." she then pointed at Maboroshi of handedly, still talking to Raine "And Maboroshi's my eternal rival...I guess that's it."
Xenon was looking up at the tree's above them. "Stop." Kimiko did so and followed his gaze. "There it is."
Kimiko peered up and saw indeed that the bird with her final flag was above them "Oh! Your right, it's on it's leg there..."
Xenon's glasses gleamed "I'll get it from here..." Senbon flashed into his hands.
"Maboroshi!" Kimiko hissed trying to keep her voice down. "you can't just kill the bird!"
Xenon looked at her and blinked "Hm? I wasn't, I was going to pin the flag to the tree."
"But you could miss and hit the bird!"
"I don't miss." Xenon said matter of factly.
Kimiko grabbed his arm "No!"
Xenon blinked at her then sighed slightly exasperated. "Fine, fine, give me a moment then." He slipped the senbon back up his sleeve and took a deep breath, as though preparing himself...
"And Maboroshi-" suddenly though the bird above seemed to detect their talking and took off, flying away.
Xenon's eyebrow twitched, but his face remained passive "*sigh* Yes Momoe-san?"
Kimiko looked a little embarrassed "Oh...sorry." she chuckled awkwardly.

Raine walking beside her watching her feet for a while before returning to her face to watch her speak. "Oh You're adopted? Hmm... I never knew my Dad either, he died before I could remember him." Raine said a bit solemnly he didn't really feel that bad about not having a dad, he had Heisei.... The small boy laughed as his teammates broadly declared her love, "Ha just get a poster of him and be done with it!" He laughed heartily at his own joke hoped she wouldn't take it personally. Raine stopped laughing when she spoke about being a hero, he couldn't help but feel strong himself. "Don't worry I'm sure you will. We can all work together and be the greatest heroes of Oto!" He lifted his fist up in the air next to him, declaring their future. "Raine the Unyielding Hero, Kimiko the Bravest Heroine, and Xen the Master Party Pooper!" Once again Raine burst into a broad smile, before the older boy cut in and they all fell silent.
He watched the bird while they bickered before it flew away. He flung his mowhawk out of his eyes. "HA, You guys are too great."
