Crow followed the doctor into the hallway as well. As they entered once again he could hear the shuffling feet of other scientists, and in the intersections he spotted the various experiments that a few of them led through the halls in captivity. Apparently the doctor had big plans for them, not some sudden random selection as he'd thought back in his trap. Of course he should have known better. He wondered if they were to be tested against some new opponent like he always had been before, considering Kioko and himself were good candidates for the most powerful experiments.

They did not have far to go, within a few turns through the lengthened halls the doctor waited a moment for the experiments to arrive directly behind him. They would receive several curious and often stunned glances due to the apparently unrestrained experiments roaming the halls, various uniforms identified employees clearly apart from the experiments and guests. When they entered the door what appeared before them was a small room with windows that looked out over a much larger circular room, an observation bay. Small advanced computers were placed throughout along the sides o the room, each was connected to several output displays, with even more readings to be observed upon them. A few workers were dwelling in the room, however Doctor K was clearly sure of himself as he commanded the others. "I require use of the analysation fields, clear out your work, I'll have you informed when the room is ready for the continuation of your tasks." The men packed up and left compliantly and quickly, they were not likely doing anything of importance considering the expedient manner in which they were able to evacuate. Doctor K then beckoned Crow and Kioko into the room as he laid the note that was left in his lab on a table near the windows as he began to scan over the data left in the terminals from the last group.

((sorry...real life stuff. ^^; im glad this thread is still alive tho...))

kioko eyed the note that was laid. she wasn't really much of a nosy person, but when it came to her and crow's life at stake, looking at the note wasn't really such a big deal. considering they were going to be experimented on in a few moments, or so she thought. Slowly, she decided to walk towards the note. but she stopped short because her curiosity got the best of her, she wanted to see how the room that the observation room was looking out towards looked like.

((O_O' Oh... I am so sorry, I thought this thread was completely gone, I just came back to read through it. How many people are still around?))

Crow, like Kioko moved around the room curiously, disregarding Doctor K's watchful eyes. He read the displays that hung up on the wall, whatever it was it didn't seem active, but some retroactive data still remained, nonetheless he could not interpret it. He'd been in this area many times before, but never from this angle. The larger circular room below, the one that was monitored, the only experiments he'd ever been allowed to see perished down there. Being out in the world and developing ties to his comrades had given him a great discomfort with this room, he now had trouble with the thought that they may be forced to destroy others.

((lols, im guessing it's you, me and homocide...sooo, i guess we CAN call it dead...ish))

Kioko had drifted off to see the room below them. it was a bit frightening to wonder if they would be the ones to go down there for 'observation'
"it's really quite frightening to look at that doctor, are you sending me and crow down there?" she asked him.
Just staring at it gave her chills.

After a few silent moments Doctor K began to tap at the keys of the center terminal, his two-toned voice came as close to muttering as one could imagine it. "Failures, all of them. It does not come as a surprise that the saying is true, if you want something accomplished, you must be the one to do it." A few more keys and the terminals all changed their displays, now displaying that which were obviously menus of kinds. "Ah, yes. Luckily the lack of other minds of this facility to truly comprehend their work makes the path to our true test that much shorter." The doctor pushed a small lever upwards on the desk, this opened a door in the wall rimmed with black and yellow stripes. It led to an opening, a minuscule, trapezoidal, room much like a short metal closet. "There, we will begin now."

Kioko swiftly turned her head at the noise of the moving wall that opened up, clearly her mind was elsewhere hence the stare she gave at the bigger arena at the bottom. She stepped forward a bit to get a better look at what was inside the area. Staring inside it, she gulped. It was a small space..and it looked dreafully terrifying.

Crow took a last look down at the area, taking in this perspective before he was to be the one being observed down there again. He then also approached the small cramped space, observing it before he attempted to make his way in. It was going to be a bit of a tight fit, he was taller and broader than most experiments in the labs. He took a moment to wonder if Ventus had ever been thrown down here, how would he ever fit? He'd have to have his own entrance. With a arc to his frame Crow slipped into the elevator with Kioko, doing his best not to invade personal space.

((Hm, it seems like it may be time to bring this RP to an end soon.))

Doctor K flipped the switch back with his thumb while hitting a button almost simultaneously. The doors to the small hatch closed again into the wall. After the sound of released air pressure sounded it began to drop at an acceptable pace. In only a few moments time it stuck the floor with a cushioned and muffled thud. The doors soon opened to allow the two experiments to wander out. The doctor's voice sounded out over the loudspeaker: "Crow and Kioko, our work begins now, move forward, and begin your first assignment..."

((yea, we can finish this and then end it.))

Kioko walked out into the platform that the elevator like thing brought them too. soon after hearing the Doctor over the loudspeaker.
"what's our mission?" she asked

Crow stepped out quickly, moving around ahead of Kioko. He was suddenly moving very swiftly and quietly. He looked around the room cautiously, moving and turning his body and head independently of eachother as he observed the surroundings. His sight was mainly focused on the entrances to the room. After a moment of fruitless searching he calmed down, looking back to the window that overlooked the platform, waiting for the doctor to do something.

The sound of static signaled the opening of the radio channel to the loudspeaker. "Strife, and struggle. Fight with everything that you are, and end the existence of the harrowed." When the end of the words came a muffled alarm began to sound as white lights began to flash intermittently around the two experiments. The wall at the opposite end of the arena began to open slowly, revealing a subset cage that contained a handful of gruesome creatures, only a few of which vaguely resembled a human form. The cage door opened, but only long enough to allow a single one of the rambunctious monsters loose before quickly slamming closed again. It was of a humanoid form, but it's skin was rough and cracked, and of a dark blue tinge. From the cracks shone a vibrant purple light. It's eyes were hallow holes and it's mouth hung open at all times. The grotesque figure howled at Crow, then quickly sprinted at him, the light beneath its skin began to condense into its arm. It accelerated at an insane rate, matching Crow's usual high speeds.

((Yay!! fighting!))

Kioko rose several medium sized mounds of earth and tried shooting them at the speeding creature. She pushed it as fast as the earth would allow and added an extra push of air to make a combination of a fast speeding earth that was surrounded by a barrier of air for an extra hit in collision.
"Crow move!" She yelled.
Truth be told, she was not expecting the Doctor to have them fight. But she guessed whatever he was looking for, he would get once they finished battling, if they ever survived.

Crow did indeed move as Kioko commanded, but possibly not in the way she had expected. The creature was astounding, matching his Ki powered sprints in a natural manner. Instead of using his time slowing ability this early, he moved behind the rock staying just out of reach of the powerful gusts. By doing this Kioko's manipulated air would remove wind resistance, which was increased dramatically at the speed he traveled. This meant he was able to run much faster than the creature for as long as he was behind the rock, likely allowing him to take the opponent by surprise.

The creature leaped forward, drawing its arm back and smashing its hand into the rock. The purple flares on its body turned into long twisting lines, they curled around its fist as it penetrated the stone. The fiery blow sent cinders and ruble everywhere, scattered like shrapnel by the windy force accompanying Kioko's attack. Never phasing from the impact force of the air and stone it opened it's arms wide and roared at Kioko, a force stretched out from its body in tendrils and began to leave lines of scorched material around it as they curved and swung wildly through the air.
